  1. Clive is good at playing "pass the ridersbane" and comes almost T2 pre-promoted in act 1. He's about on par with Not-Camus at Ft-Freespice and gives better supports, he see's enough exp off his chiplording to hit gold knight in blitzkreig runs with limited to non-existant dungeon deployment. Cant really call that bad. He's just stuck competing with Cav!Villagers, Mathilda, Claire, and Falco!Faye which is not a good place to be for any cav.
  2. Invoke is nuts, either as a fog generator for Genny/Tatiana or as a "map ends now" for Silque. Conjure is basically reinforcements, but you can kill the stairs.
  3. The real question is how Sonya becomes a witch after Duma's death. Witches have no souls in Echo's but they apparently can still think and act to their own desires to an extent (Sonya's sisters last map dialogue, Ceilica's silly everything) so the reason to go witch is "power at any cost" or in Ceilica's case "Deeeerp".
  4. @ Alastor15243 that looks like a pretty average Faye. Moving on to Faye herself. Her other class choices (sans mage, because Delthea) carry hard and are compete with the best of the best in their tree as she generally has speed to double all but the fastest foes alongside huge bulk and atk, but in Saint Faye may just be one of the most broken units in all of FE. Turns out rolling the darkmage/dancer/rescue staff into one unit with (at minimum) double the stats of her competition is just thilly even before we consider the absurdity of her fast support adds from Alm and Silque. 10/10 best unit in the game hands down. Silque: Is a warpbot with the best invoke summons you'll never actually use and some reasonable player phase combat post-promotion. 7.5/10.
  5. Duma's tower. Act 4 is the first time you really "want' additional funds. Rare drop weapons are all worse than in-game forges
  6. Walking into the first room of tower, smashing pots for 20-100 silver and punching evacuate takes about 15 seconds and requires 0 enemy dodging. Past that Coral frags give a killer bow forge pre-desert and Alm swims in an ocean of gold marks (6-7 by first smith) so as long as you're aware of what the good forges are DLC farming seems pretty pointless.
  7. Tobin: Archer/Mage good guy, never your best unit but it's hard to argue with an early join that contributes early and manages to not fall off. Kliff: Same as Tobin but slightly worse early and much much much better late.
  8. Any mainline bow can be evolved up to killer. It's the best possible use of forge money tbh.
  9. Fear shrine is like the most efficent exp/turn spot in the game if you forged good weapons thanks to the cantor 2x shaman spawn by the idol, it's worth farming a bit of exp there for benchmarks and warp on Tatiana for safety. Also my vote for "most useful fork" goes to BK Boey. You get just enough money in the game with the coral frag subquest to forge a killer bow pre-desert and playing pass the bow between 2 snipers is just delicious in those maps.
  10. Grey is a solid 9/10 for the same reasons Alm is. Strong all game perfect availibility good weapon in levin/zweibby. Lucas is a thwoms thwomp. He can be viable if forked but otherwise he falls off by bandit shrine 4/10.
  11. The only evolution forges you really care about are The Zweihänder/Killer bow/Parthia (Postgame only and is exclusively for cheesing the final postend boss, unless you're using BK Kliff, then yeah Parthia is value). The keepsake ring is 3 free gold marks. The steel lance is legit better than the silver lance and is a useable postgame weapon if you're not about saccing the ridersbane/have 4 lance users. You can just spam triangle attack on Jedah for a free dracoshield in the swamp. Anyone who does not need a weapon to do damage prefers rings/shields unless it's maingame Ceilica who can on-the-fly swap to lady sword/blessed sword.
  12. Boots don't do much for Ceilica sadly, she's still grounded infantry move in bad terrain land with paper bulk and no movement tech outside of swap/shove.
  13. Alm's about as good as 5 move infantry can possibly be and comes with a trio of warp/rescue users that get him into killdude range one of whom gets insane support adds from rescuing Alm. Shoutouts to swapping between weapons on the fly for that dirty levin/royal action. Ceilica uuuuh kills a necrodragon and then falls on her neck as the worst Preistess in the game in the middle of a not-mage-respecting desert and swamp. Would not use outside of forced deployment.
  14. Got this on my first run (hard classic) doing all dungeons and not really trying to avoid any encounters. Didn't intentionally go for it just wanted to see if there was a lunatic mode. Anyways just warping a drugged up Faye into the largest concentration of enemies, rescuing her husbando and punching the nos button will kill just about everything Duma and Lab included, spamming the unholy everything out of bows and horse to clean shop is pretty easy once good waifu has done her thing (Python/Kliff/Tobin/Grey were all BK's) this is pretty much my go-to strat now. Tigerstance is broken but it kicks in way too late, that's bowforge money you're throwing away that is, just sell the marks and crank out some killer bows and a radiant bow. Edit: Delthea baits witches like no other. No idea why. It makes dealing with them waaay easier though. Also trains her for free, which is nice in the final dungeon. Do Sylvan and the exotic spice subquests and you can crank out a set of endgame weapons in forest village. No reason to skip abode, witch spam on the main map will cost more turns than skipping will save. Even if you take a more sane well thought out and reasonable approach go cleric on Faye for rescue. (she can get anew in a 500 turn game easily by virtue of seeing more combat than the rest of your army combined The issue is more that faye is almost always more useful than the nerd you're dancing.) Ceilica's side just gets torn apart by drugged up whitewings (sans est) and the BK/DF crew. Think my Ceilica finished up at like... level 8/1.99? Got lazy and turnwheeled a lot of bow-dodging in the desert. You'll probably finish with party's like: Alm(hero)/Faye(saint)/Silque(saint)/Titania(saint/Gray(BK)/Tobin(BK)/Kliff(BK)/Mathilda(GK)/Clair(Falco)/Filler (Delthea or Zeke) Ceilica(underleveld)/Palla!(Blood goddess)/Catria (Less Useful Blood Goddess)/ BK Leon/ BK Valbar or Atlas/Neeeeeeeerds Edit: Just engage map enemies on the shortest map possible without spawning another mapnerd. It's a 1-2 turn cost per engagement and you have 300+ turns to burn outside the main story.
  15. Ran first try in a Hard/Classic no-grind with: Alm, falchion/royalsword/speedring Saint!Faye, (with damn near every booster in the game to cap HP/Atk/Def) Grim Ring/Speed Ring/Mage Ring DF!Grey, Zweibby/Mercurius Saint!Silque, silver shield/blessed shield/hexlock shield Priestess!Delthea, mage ring/speedring/Lady Sword Priestess!Sonya, mage ring/blessed shield Falcoknight!Clair, Gradivus/Silver lance Falcoknight!Palla, Gradivus/Silver Lance Bow Knight!Kliff Parthia/Silver bow Bow Knight!Tobin Killer bow. Strat was Faye moves forward and stands 3 tiles from Alm&Silque and never dies while bows, birds and white magic clean up the rest in any situation where I could not one round all the things. Birds, bows and white magic removed anything that threatened her. Grey and Delthea were just there for killdie damage. All dudes sans Gray (looped twice over normal play) are level 20-all for stats. Faye ate so much food. Ceilica's party sans Palla/Catria/Sonya, Barons, and Golds are pretty lame in post. Sage's are aight but Priestesses hit way harder because lady sword, and entrap is a godsend. You can use Ceilica over Delthea but Delthea is cuter and has straight up better stats+rewarp.
  16. A buff Saint!Faye can just stand 3 tiles from Alm and Silque and walk forward to clear 90% of lab. For everything else there's bows and entrap. No grinding required. Balanced unit is balanced.
  17. I appreciated it when Palla lifted and carried Ceilicas party through act 4, also best whitewing waifu confirmed.
  18. I'm just waiting for someone to drop a bit of Faye hate that isn't topped point-for-point by Ceilica's crap.
  19. So ignoring how insane low tier Odin is... seeing troubador Elise in A tier is pretty weird even be YACQTL standards. Edit: Holy crap the leo write-up starts with uselesstome. I cant.
  20. In all fairness, her argument is still less batshit overemotional crazy than the fucking tearful flyingtacklehugcling on the boy she knew for a short period of time 7 years ago.
  21. Favorites: Faye is total waifu bait,,, and it's working x.x, in a game with Palla ffs. Terrible taste in men though. It's nice that she's unholy hell on wheels as a unit Dancer/(accurate&fat)Nostank/Stavebot combo is the dumbest thing Most of the cast: Are amusing shoutouts to May, Tobin, Gray, Leon&Palls, and the white wings you actually use. Least Favorites: Alm & Ceilica: Are overly emotional idiots. It bugs me. Echo's/gaiden would be a short game if they were smart or reasonable though.
  22. CQ lunatic cheese is vantage/heartseeker/damage stack sorc Odin/Ophelia and VoF MN Silias/sisterhood Soliel holding MU. Just walk forward and win. Midgame wyvern!xander stacking talismans is also very strong.
  23. 10 You're using exactly one build for CHM LTC Corin ever (+mag draco) so flexibility is not a contributing factor here. That said perfect availability, early flight and top 5 combat potential speak for themselves. Food is consistent if you gift yourself a hat and use it on Mozu/Peri.
