  1. Footlock is better than pony for the middle third of CQ. Bow pony and bird are good though. That said Silias has no real reason to end in his base class set for anything other than bow use unless you just hate m/f seals. All the early males will hit thresholds period. Stacking makes this 100% consistant. (IE we need 15 base speed on MN Silias to double MN's in ch17). My current PMU features Arthur and Percy both out-stating Camilia on her join.
  2. Every unit in LCQ requires heavy invest. Not sure why that's still a thing.
  3. Cool. Define casual efficency for me. Last I checked it's just a term that means "we want to be thpethial and say est's are bad"
  4. Yeah. For purist LTC that's consistant. You can just give Cammy doubling speed with a bronze forge otherwise.
  5. Stack is how we LCQ consistantly. Using both stances fluidly is big in LCQ. Use Odin.
  6. The 2 turn ch17 is extremely consistent.
  7. Arthur is a dracozerk candidate with innate cav line and an early male with a pre-ch10 kid so yes he's obviously good. Low luck is useful. Levant just argues that everything good is bad for... reasons.
  8. Stop feeding the troll and move on folks.
  9. On Ch8 with Elise over jacobdin. If you use the DV on turn 2 to kill the ice DM's with Niles the split-steps required to get Elise+Jakob to the boss on time are relatively "safe" (3 dark mages and 1 fighter minimum with freeze) and give 2 villages. Elise still needs to dodge (remove her axe vs tomes) but she can soak one axe hit reliably to build wrank which buffers our Jakob vs boss a bit. Not nessecary if your not pulling any other saves turns with her but it is quite styleish. Edit. No Niles. Ew. 2 village would need Arthur to do his job which is uggo af.
  10. Yes. It's easier than "most" normal runs since any unit other than Niles and Corn can die with no consequences.
  11. Oh so very serious. I failed to tyoe this up earlier so for clarity's sake: Kids and captures are getting used but picking kids without MC abuse is a 3for1 so we just pick gen1 here. Ch7: Corn has the stats to not-need jakob with some tonics and hits level 10. Silias get's a tonic and runs around with VoF up being Silias, Elise seals to flyingboltaxe and does work with a bronze axe, Arthur throws axes and supports Corn. Everyone gains a level except Corn, who gains 3 up to level 10. Ch8: Doing this map with no 1-2 is a pain, sold everything I didn't need for all-the-tonics and rolled a decent meal. CornArthur goes north while Silias and Niles go west, then chaos ensues as Elise hits both DV's on turns 2 and 3. 3 villages get. Decent exp distribution. Ch9:Some kid was lurking to the south. Stole her stuff and put Corn+Elise on the magic tile while Arthur and Co discussed the fine distinction between justice and revenge with the welcome party. Anime joined the group and a rescue staff was aquire. Chmozu: Built up Mozu with Silias dual strikes and a +2 bronze bow. She's stronk now. Ch10 is for suckers, did... ChPERCY: It was Arthur's birthday and he got the last room support he needed to knock Effay up so he has a kid now. Arthur and a randospearman capture from ch9 pulled the east side (and Arthur killed them all) while Corrin split off the 3rd wave to the northwest and the squad fed/rescued Corrin. Arthur is xl15 now. Bad unit do not use. Burned a ton of tonics forges and a +2 speed +1 def meal here. 1k gold returned on a DV is all I need for... Ch10: Buffed up (+2 str +1 speed meal and tonics) Silias and Mozu do Odin's normal job (killing the west, all of it), Corrin goes to red so that Silias may live and swaps to Percy (who out statted Camilia on her join after buffs) for a clean sweep in Oboro's corner. Arthur stomps anything and everything he encounters, other mooks mook about emptying the map. Selena was... there all right. Sophie and Nina are coming soon (ElisexNiles and MozuxSilias).
  12. That's legit how I used Ophy on my first blind run. No Odin Leo will function as a worse version. NoAnna yo. Assuming Silias pick?
  13. Quick update since I have a Corn (Effay) Prologue: 1-2 1: Buckle my shoe (+def is conventient here) 2: Shut the door on some hoshido scrubs. This trash corn has gotten some amazing levels, straight speed and 2 perfects. 3:Got the crit I can never get in ltc. Weeeee more sick levels. 4: RIPGUNthur, hello killstealing trash. Gave Kaze a level for 5, Speed on Corn is higher than Def now. 5: Here comes the boom. Mom dies, taco hides, Ryoma does a perfect ltc setup for once and I waste it. Perfect corn level and Kaze hits the bench after doing his job. 6: 1234. Another god level, this Corn is mocking me. -------- These unit pics are looking wonderfully painful.
  14. Welp. It's that time again. Corncob, Niles, and Azura are mandatory for not-insanity, I like thighs so Fcorrin. Y'all are picking 7 more gen 1 units for the run along with Corrin's boon/bane/talent. If a class/pairing is suggested I'll try and find a use for it but no promises. Unpicked gen1 units are dead to me. I'll be using MC visits before ch7 for shop+materials and nothing else. No other DLC or bonus items will be used. Ch10 is free for sanities sake but if I can clear it without dumpster diving I will. Units: -FCorrin (+def/-Skill, Knight) -Niles -Azura -Leo -Selena -Mozu -General-BoltAxe (Elise) -JUSTICE!!! -Silias -Benny Will update with a playlog (slowly, free time is limited).
  15. Dark mage or Oni Savage. Or just roll Draco, run into a bow turn 1, and let Silias do Silias things.
  16. Oh man. Trauma Center. Glad the Elise route worked out for you (about to go peep your strat) and looking forward to the rest of the no-flyskip draft (ft bird on ch7). Edit: Watched. Very solid clear.
  17. Just throw Ryoma into the entrap chain of Iago's map or it can crash your DS. (Not kidding) Part that... nothing BR is insultingly easy.
  18. Well there is the General!Mozu hype train... (I still need to use that) --------- As for Sol on MN stack builds. Soliel can set it up in her paralouge while other users tend to use a dump paralouge or Ch19 to set up their 3 hero levels
  19. We're not at 3rdshop so while we "can" build LaD/SRip/Mal/HS/Vantage on Odin it's really seal intensive. 20&21 are noflynolife and we want to beat up Haya-ho's area with a solMN so Odin is mostly coasting on by in the southeast through northeast by beating the tar out of spearmen to set up for his third shop paralouge dips for LaD+Riposte+ wife stuff. It always takes one paralouge to pull this off after ch19 if that chapter is Shigures as we can funnel the entire map into one unit and Odin should be 20/10 going in. ------ I alway wish I had Mozu. In non-bowzu play archer is quickly becoming my favorite talent.
  20. It's not. 20/1 Odin at ch17 is a very low level Odin. Lightning is Crank so he "doubles" fine past ch13 on player phase. --------- If I'm using Ophy/Other not Odin mage I'll generally just let em gate "the map" on 17 while Odin consumes mechanists and puppets and Elise "the bolt axe" Wyvernface does her thing.
  21. Captures, Xander, Freezana, Flora, etc. Edit: I'm not trying to be intentionally obtuse. LCQ just has so many possible variables and build adaptations that "4 early pairs (also stack)" is really the only unit selection/planning that matters on a first playthrough.
  22. Not really? 4 early males + kids + freebies and captures. That's it. If Silias is used play the whole game with corndog under half. The meta is stack (the practice of stacking ALL THE BOOSTS, generally damage skills but other forms exist). Flight, bow, axe, tome. Exemptions exist to this rule of thumb (Silias is a walking exemption.
  23. There's really no reason to do this. She'll have Insp. Song by the time you need it to hit +17 thresholds. Until then meals and tonics work.
