  1. I should be around more often, shouldn't I...? Anyway, I don't oppose Brom and Gatrie dropping, I've complained about their move often enough. Where to though? When they can't reach enemies, all they have is a shove on turn 1... which would put them slightly above Ena/Nasir due to being around longer. Gartie has a few chapters in early game and Tauroneo chapter 21 to add to that, though it'd probably be a stretch to say that they save more than 1 turn each (if even). As for Janaff, I guess he could rise a bit, the question is whether there are any other units besides the armors and Devdan he could surpass.. I suppose Devdan could even go to the bottom of the list, seeing as he's the only character that costs turns to recruit in every team... Ike or Mist can trade the forge after recruiting him.
  2. I could if it's GFAQs... but then again, why bother? I see. I used Lightsworns until level 10 I think, but switched to a modified version of the Divine Members recipe (just needed something that worked well with Royal Oppression really).
  3. Late indeed, I'm playing the 11th level or something at the moment. I suspected the pack gamesave, but didn't actually do it as the opponents weren't really challenging so far (though I feel the AI is a bit better than in some of the other games). As for the story (I think I wanted to comment on it at least..), I think it's decent for a YGO game, though I never played the later DS games, so I maybe I missed something there. Sure it isn't great, but if someone wants a game with a good story, YGO was never the way to go as far as I'm aware. Lastly, I can recommend the Hidden Arsenal booster packs in case anyone is interested. (What decks?)
  4. The draft player might reset for that Adept proc, but RNG manipulation is definately not assumed for this list. Rolf below Ulki? Well, I guess I can see that. I wouldn't necessarily say it's clear as day, but no one else had any objections, so Rolf goes down. Yes. I'm not done with my own run yet, but theoretically, he could help in any chapter with flying enemies (I admit, there aren't that many). On the other hand, I can't think of an instance where Ena is saving me any turns either. The BEXP thing is wong and disproven by Anouleth, but I'll get into that again below. In the chapters they are available in, you'll have a team of (mostly) awesome units, so preventing the enemy from attacking Ena shouldn't be a problem. The fact that they don't "need" BEXP doesn't really matter as they only have 5 move and probably wouldn't reach any enemies to begin with. For starters, Ena can't shove Marcia, Jill, Tanith when I'm not very much mistaken. Even if she could, it'd only be on turn 1 and it probably doesn't make a difference. That being said, there are only 5 Rout maps after Rolf joins (12, 17-1, 18, 20, 25... well ok, I'll count 13 too, so 6 maps), so your point regarding that is pretty moot. What can Rolf do? Well, he could combine for kills with your slower units (Brom, Gatrie), or shoot Wyverns/Hawks/Crows. At least the Wyvern shooting is important in chapter 18, depending on your team it might be in 20 and possibly 25 as well. I admit that it's not much, but it's SOMETHING. To put it simple, you spent your BEXP wrong then. When we're using the current runs as indication, I just finished chapter 16 today, currently my team consists of: Lv 18/-- Ike Lv --/08 Titania Lv 20/06 Zihark Lv 20/07 Jill (ORKO'd both Muarim and Kiimarsi) Lv 09 Muarim Lv 01/-- Rolf As you can see, I didn't give Rolf any BEXP at all yet, he gained some CEXP from shooting Crows though. And get this, I currently have more than 1600 BEXP left. In other words, there is a lot of BEXP in this game, you just have to give it to the right units at the right time. Giving Rolf any BEXP wouldn't have saved me turns (or made the chapters any easier) yet, so I didn't. I remember though that there are those annoying Wyvern Knights in Daein, and I'm going to guess that Rolf will be able to do something there. Fact of the matter is, availability is an important thing in PoR because most units can be decent rather easily. Ena has 2 chapters of availability and she isn't even good in them.
  5. Okay so I tested the desert stuff with Jill: 1) The Raven that transforms turn 1 near the Boots targets a 20/4 Jill over Volke as long as Jill is unequipped. 2) It's possible to obtain the Boots on turn 2, even when Volke was outside of said Raven's range on turn 1, as long as you have a unit (besides Ike) that can shove Volke. 3) The chapter can be 2 turned as long as your flyer ORKOs Muarim, when the second option is used to get the Boots, max BEXP can also be archieved. It's as Anouleth said, Muarim has 2 more move and his combat isn't bad by any means. That being said, I guess Nephenee could go above Mia? 4 chapters less, but a superior weapon and Vantage has a smaller cost than Wrath (probably) could be enough to cancel that out.
  6. I got the game today and it looks decent so far. The cards are placed slower than in the TF series and from what I've seen so far, the animations could have been done better. Apart from that though, the amount of cards included is nice, as is the online ranking. Won't comment on the story as I didn't finish it yet.
  7. Put Boyd below Makalov for now, also added the issue with Naesala to the OP.
  8. As both the generic ruleset and the current drafts allow undrafted characters to find items without taking a penalty, I'd say this goes for here too. Well, in theory every unit is able to open chests (chest keys), whereas recruitments are character specific, I'd consider the Hawks and Reyson talking to Naesala equal to that, so no penalty. Apart from that, what about Boyd? Nobody seems to be opposed to him going below the Paladins, but should he stay above Reyson and Tanith too?
  9. Oops eh... I forgot to update the OP with the list on page 2. I don't necessarily disagree with that. Though when Boyd would drop below Kieran, I don't see any reasons for him to stay above Astrid (and probably Makalov), seeing as they come only a couple of chapters later than Kieran (with only one chapter where Kieran actually saves turns)... it probably wouldn't be a stretch to say that he could drop below Lethe or something. Please take a look at the list again. As stated by others, his recruitment costs as many turns as you need to recruit Marcia in Ch. 9, so probably 2-3. Where would you want to put him though? He could probably save a turn in Ch. 7, also he allows you to save three Hand Axe uses or something for whatever it's worth. That being said, when he goes down, Gatrie should too as he doesn't have anything besides a potential turn in Ch. 7 either. I see. I also thought that rule was FE 10 only. How should we do it then? Not that it would greatly influence anyone besides Volke and Sothe. How so?
  10. Oh right, you have Oscar... in that case you can 2 turn it.. without Boyd you'd only get one of the houses though.
  11. When everything goes well, it should be pretty accurate after the three drafts are finished. It's possible to 3 turn Ch.1 without abuse, (it's important though that the southern fighter attacks Ike from below on turn 1 which isn't always the case iirc). That being said, I guess another person could simply pick the fifth team for Severlan/whoever actually plays, that way at least the picking would go faster.
  12. Seriously? Tier list topics don't get 5 pages per day anymore, so I don't have as much to read... the fact that I'm posting here is kinda irritating...
  13. Why is that? Seeing as RD is almost done and you, Integ and Soul play two or three chapters per day, combined with the speed I update my HM playlog with, I'll probably finish last (it doesn't help that I'm playing four files at the same time...). EDIT: Rather unexpected, but here is an update:
  14. Firstly, even when only Ike and Titania are used, the early chapters can be completed without a penalty and usually the turncount isn't affected that much either (3 turns with Boyd and 4 with Oscar or something along those lines I'd say). Secondly, how many maps are there after Tanith joins where flight is important? 20, 21, 23, 25, 28? Also she might need the Full Guard which costs 1 or 2 turns... I guess it's not unlikely for her to save enough turns in those chapters to negate the availability lead the Paladins have over her.
  15. Well, when you have time again, we could finally finish the YVD tournament... actually I didn't see your edit before today... Anyway, I thought about buying this one, but wasn't really sure about it (the other one was... yeah), if you can recommend it though, I suppose I'll consider it.

    L4D2 Mafia

I guess I'll give this a try... what could possibly go wrong...
  17. I don't think Boyd can safe a turn in Ch. 1, but he probably does in 2... he isn't available in 3 and 4 and shouldn't be able to keep up with Titania to safe any turns in 5... 6 and 8 are defend, but he should be pretty good in 7 and I guess he's helpful in 9 as well. Then the flyers and Paladins start joining. I'd like to know that too... I blame Soul
  18. Apparently there was an update that stopped this from working, so hacking would be the only way you can play it without importing another wii I guess.
  19. Well, if it is a PAL Wii, you could try this: http://palgn.com.au/...on-lock-busted/
  20. Well, Tauroneo has a free Resolve, though it might be difficult for him to get there on some maps.
  21. I guess Krad could tell you more about it, but when combined with a flyer (or for certain maps a Paladin would probably be enough), it seems to be the case:
  22. Will they even have the weapon rank for Physics? Also, I'm still not convinced that Soren contributes anything noteworthy (on his own) before Ilyana joins. He has better growths though and the level disadvantage is easily eliminated. Brom will have 6 move at best and Javelins can first be forged in Chapter 18, meaning his 2 range isn't the best (and even then you probably want to equip Marcia/Tanith/Nephenee first, assuming you have them), and there aren't that many rout maps, nor maps with a lot of enemies near the starting positions. Tauroneo can at least take care of the entire throne room and 2HKO Ena with Resolve+Laguzslayer. I can't tell whether you're arguing Tauroneo above Brom or not... As for Lethe and Mordecai, I'd say it depends on the rest of your team. As Krad pointed out, Mordecai seems to be superior when you have a flyer, if not Lethe might be a bit stronger. I can't really see a clear winner at this point, but Smite is certainly helpful. EDIT: Maybe it'd make sense to add a short comment for certain (or maybe even all) characters? For example: Mordecai - useable in any team, can be used at maximum potential when a flyer is also picked
  23. I won't respond to everything in detail, consider the points noted and (hopefully) reflected in the following: The tier break would probably be somewhere around Rhys or Stefan. Some other notes: -Mages were discussed, as were thieves -Devdan apparently is a waste of space (drop to 6th Pick?) -I'm unsure about where to place Stefan and Elincia, as apparently even with a Sage the chapter isn't 3 turned, which would mean everyone who drafted either Lethe or Mordecai would only have to sacrifice one turn to get Stefan, depending on how well he does in the following chapters, he could possibly drop a bit further -how much does Brom do until chapter 21? Tauroneo can help with cleaning the throne room at least and also has Resolve for whatever it's worth
