So besides the royal siblings Fáfnir, Ótr, and Reginn, we also have two "valkyries" and a witchy lady as our new characters. Reginn and Ótr are the siblings of the mythological Fafnir, but Reginn's namesake was male. I wonder what mythological figures the other three characters will be based on.
Also Selena has Julie Ann Taylor listed as her VA rather than Tiana Camacho, but she doesn't sound like any of Taylor's other roles. Maybe whoever made the trailer got their Selenas mixed up?

I'm guessing we don't have a trailer yet because they didn't feel the need to start promoting it too long before release. KotM already had its first two trailers five months before release (the third was released on my birthday, incidentally), but whoever does the marketing probably doesn't feel the need to release trailers that far in advance at this point.

So basically I'll: free trial HBO Max -> pay for Godzilla vs Kong. I save money this way while still supporting the movie.
Unless they make me get a membership, in which case, I'll bite the bullet and go watch it in theaters. Which sounds bad but I live like 30 minutes from the Oviedo mall and Oviedo is a quiet little town so there won't be a whole lot of people there.
Fair enough, but I like seeing movies in theaters so I'll consider my options when the movie comes out.

Between Godzilla vs Kong, Singular Point, and now this news, seems like 2021 really will be the Year of the King.
Also, Netflix Japan will be getting every Godzilla movie except Vs Biollante, I've heard there are some rights issues with that. One could in theory VPN-pass the region lock but I don't think Netflix Japan has English subs.
With a new movie and show coming along, it makes sense that Toho wants to give Godzilla a big push next year. There's apparently a contract that Toho can't make any live-action Godzilla movies until GvK releases, so I look forward to seeing what next year brings for the franchise.

And anyway, I suspect they wouldn’t let you watch any simultaneously released films with a free trial. Unless the article you linked says differently, because I can’t view it right now.

I have 76.7 GB of available space on my Switch when counting my microSD card, since I have a preference for getting games physically. I assume you would be able to buy it now and download it later when you have space available, but obviously I've never been in that situation so I don't know for sure.

I'm not talking about dips or jumps btw. I can notice dips (jumps a little less so) because it usually stands out.
I usually can’t tell the difference between 30 and 60 unless there are different frame rates going on at the same time (like how Smash for 3DS has fighters at 60 FPS and Assist Trophies at 30 FPS). I don’t care much about frame rate as long as it’s consistent most of the time.

I have just borne witness to something incredible. From a mere common Core Crystal I have summoned the legendary KOS- just kidding, it was Godfrey. Still, I'm glad that I got someone new after just getting pity Blades. The megalance giant is still MIA though, so Poppibuster will have to wait longer.

Capcom games go on sale pretty often, so you don't have to worry too much if you don't get it now. Earlier this year I got Okami when it was on sale, and it went on sale again around two weeks later. It's even on sale now too. AA is definitely worth getting though, and there are plenty of other AA games to play beyond the trilogy after you finish it (once those games get ported to the Switch, anyway).

If you want to treat it as a Christmas present, you could get it now while it's on sale but not actually play it until Christmas. Alternatively you can get Torna first on account of it being less expensive, if you want to go that way.

To commemorate Xenoblade 2's third anniversary, I've decided to hopefully get more Rare Blades, since I suspect that the random ones I have are all pity Blades. I could get the Crystals that come with the expansion pass, but I would rather not use them until I beat the game.
To that end I got the Lucky Core Crystal from Gluttonous Marrin (though I'm not sure who I'll give it to) and started Crystal Clear. The latter quest requires ten Core Crystals to activate, which is why I didn't use them as soon as I got them (the lucky one, five common, three rare, and one legendary). There are three more fixed non-DLC Blades after this, but two of them aren't available until later and he third requires lots of money. For now, hopefully I'll have better luck with my summons.
Speaking of which, the eShop sale is almost over! First party games don't go on sale very often, so you should get on top of it if there are any games you're interested in.

I use a Micro SD Adapter when I want to upload my Switch photos. I got it (and the Micro SD itself) as a bundle with my Switch, and I'll admit that I use it more often than I expected to.

It's not too hard:
- Get Strawberries/Blueberries/Cranberries, depending on the season
- Wait for them to grow fruit
- Harvest them
- Sell them
- ???
- Proft!
These three crops produce fruit for the remainder of the season after being planted, which makes them particularly profitable. Strawberries are only available during the second half of Spring, so you'll have to wait if you're not there already.

Xenoblade 2’s anniversary is the most magical time of the year! Technically it won’t be the third anniversary outside Japan until tomorrow, but the amount of anniversary fan art is still appreciated.
Now we just need a way to convince everyone on this forum to buy it...

He was literally created to be a soldier, wasn't he? Getting rid of his violent impulses would be difficult even without his PTSD.
Speaking of Cherenkov, it's a bit odd that he never comes up again after Episode I, considering how interconnected everything else is in Xenosaga. The anime even replaced him with Virgil as the party's tag-along.

Even though I got BotW's DLC as soon as it was released, I've only ever beat the Beginning Trials (not for lack of trying, mind you). And are you talking about the main game's final boss or the Champions' Ballad's final boss?

Speaking of, I reached the point in my second playthrough where I can do Poppibuster's quest (Crossette and Corvin are absurdly powerful for when you can first get them, so I'm saving them for later). Fortunately I had every Blade needed for it... that is, except for a giant Megalance user. I still only have three random rare Blades too, having gotten Kora on Nia since I last brought up the topic, so I wonder if I will get the Megalance or a new rare Blade first.

True, but my argument was under the premise that the hypothetical player didn't mind playing Torna in the middle of the main game, or if they didn't want to wait until New Game+ to appreciate how Torna enhances the main game.

I think there's one thing we can respect about Age of Calamity being a "prequel": now we can appreciate Torna ~ The Golden Country even more!
Though speaking of which, a point that people often disagree on is if you should play Torna in the middle of the main game, and if you do, when you should play it. Takahashi of course suggested playing it between Chapters 7 and 8, but I think it would better fit between Chapters 6 and 7. Here's why:
SpoilerThe end of Chapter 6 marks the low point for the heroes during the main game, though whether thats a pro or a con when it comes to playing Torna during that time is debatable. Torna also ends on a downer, so the heroes making a comeback might be more fulfilling if you just came back from that.
One of the cons to playing Torna first, in my opinion, is that it clearly presents Amalthus as a villain when he's fairly good at acting benevolent (for a JRPG pope) for the first few chapters after you meet him. This order allows you to get used to "good guy" Amalthus and then see what he's really like behind the scenes, though this isn't a pro for the 6-7 order in particular.
Having the third sword come out of nowhere and seeing how destructive it is firsthand would probably make a greater impression on the player than just having Eulogimenos tell the party about it first.
Relatedly, playing TTGC before Chapter 7 allows the player to contrast Rex's handling of Mythra's power to Addam's. It lets the player see how Rex succeeded where Addam couldn't, and it also makes the conversation between the two more meaningful with Addam recognizing that he couldn't help Mythra as he should have. Seeing Mythra's trauma personally helps to understand her real motive for reaching Elysium, and it's more fulfilling at the end when she conquers her fear with Rex's help. Rex's acceptance of the girls is also more meaningful if you know just how powerful they are.
After thinking about it a bit, playing between Chapters 7 and 8 places a greater emphasis on Lora and Jin (since Chapter 8 shows what happened to them after TTGC, which Torna's credits lead right in to), while playing between 6 and 7 puts a greater emphasis on Mythra and Addam. I suppose who you're more interested in could influence when you want to play Torna.
One con I could think of is Malos's Monado. The first time he uses it in the main game is presented to make the player think "wait, is that a Monado?" before you fight him, which leads to him using Monado arts and you realizing that it is. Torna doesn't do something like that, though his Monado is mostly meaningful in relation to XC1 so it might not mean too much relative to everything else.

That seems like it would be best. Even if you don't get it before the sale ends, $29.99 isn't too much more expensive than $26.79, and you wouldn't want to spend extra only to find out that you don't enjoy the game after all.

Personally I think it is, but I would recommend seeing if you enjoy the game first before getting it. The DLC comes with a whole separate game that you might like more than the main game, but you can wait and see if you like the main game first if you want.

Chugga should've done the Merc Missions offscreen while doing... the whole rest of the game, and then edit the relevant footage together once the quest was done, rather than spending three days doing absolutely nothing just so he could say he did the whole quest in one video. It was calculated that 13 hours is the minimum time needed to finish Ursula's quest if you have the optimal Blades, but he didn't mention that so I assume he doesn't know that fact.
