I totally agree, I love the voice acting (EN) !! Some voices are just PERFECT (Rhea's VA is.... wow.). I also love the fact that there are so much characters at the monastery that makes everything more alive (The Gatekeeper is the best). I'm loving the supports so far. Some are less interesting than others, but it's pretty much normal. I died of laughter in Ashe/Dimitri C support and Annette/Felix C support. Please watch them if you're doing BL. 😄 I'm just 18 hours in, but god I love this game !

Wow, if this is true (I'm still doubtful about it, it seems surreal), it really might be one of the best entries of the series. I'm so happy about it. Bisexual characters ?? Several bisexual characters ??? Several bisexual important characters ???? Am I dreaming ? I just needed that to say that I'll enjoy the hell out of this game. If I was nitpicky, I would say that I would have loved for the characters to have bisexual relationships between each other, and not just toward Byleth. And I hope that S-support is not just for Byleth, that would be a shame. But well, that's super good news nonetheless.

Oh my, I'll definitely do my first playthrough with the English voices. They're all so good !! Well, everyone but Mercedes. It sounded very weird to my ears.

It's really weird. Why only show one half of a house ?! And not even the most "popular" characters of said house ?! It doesn't make sense.

I'll go Blue Lions first, without recruiting any students. Then I'll pick the Golden Deer, still without recruits, or just maybe one. And for my third run I'll chose the Black Eagles + I'll try to recruit the students I liked during my past playthroughs to avoid butchering them.

I'll most likely ship the students with each other, so my Byleth will remain a Teacher figure and make out with other teachers or nobody.

Wow, I didn't expect him ! IS scared us with 8 students per house, but there are much more characters ! Since Mercedes and him have the same hair color + the same eye color + the same black bow, they are DEFINITELY related. Maybe he's family and watches over her, since she was a former imperial noble ? Since she left there must be serious family drama. And it's surely a case of "I have a mask so you cannot recognize your own brother" ? I really don't think he's the Flame emperor or the Death knight. I guess his main secret is his family relations.

Same, I'm excited to have just a small group of students + other characters. In previous games I always had my favourites and never changed them, so I benched many characters without even caring one second about them. Having a small group makes it so much easier to know everyone and get attached to them. I'm even considering not recruiting students from other houses, so I really have ONE house and I'll still be excited to play the other houses and discover other characters.

By « clothes », they don't mean new classes, right ? I wonder what it will be. Alternative uniforms ? Weird costumes ? Give everyone a jojo hat ?

The french Facebook page does the same. It seems they finally woke up and make the reveals faster. It's a shame, because I really loved how it was done with the japanese Twitter. It was exciting to jump on Twitter every two days to discover someone, and it had more infos and a video to listen to their voices. It really built up the hype. (Btw, I'm not totally sold on the japanese voices. Too many high pitches. Maybe it's because they want to contrast with the time-skip voices, which could be deeper. But I think I'm still going for the english VA).

Aaaaaah, Leonie is so cool, I'll definitely try to kidnap her when I play with the Blue Lions. If one of her S-support turns out like Sully-Chrom "I look like a boi, but me woman, you man, let's marry" I'm gonna throw my switch away and then get it back. Please don't be a Sully.

I'm waiting for the supports too, but I've already some ships in mind, because they look perfect for each other. Dimitri x Felix : I can't wait to see their supports, I guess it will be friendship-rivalry. Dedue x Dimitri is bodyguard-who-dedicates-his-life-to-his-lord-but-is-a-commoner. d r a m a Mercedes x Annette is a feel-good couple, they're so cute together. I'm curious to see Caspar x Linhardt, it may be interesting. Like Caspar pushing Linhardt out of the bed for JUSTICE. Dorothea x Ingrid : Since we saw Dorothea and Ingrid in a paralogue, I imagine Ingrid, the chilhood friend of three beautiful princes, who has her hand asked by thousand of gentilhommes, falling in love with a girl - and a commoner, nonetheless. d r a m a² I'm so glad we are several to share the same ships. It makes them 50% more canon 😛

Oooh, great analysis, I didn't notice that the evil-looking guy with black eyes was the one killing the woman. Now that you pointed it out, I agree that the guy with a beard doesn't look toooo bad. It's maybe linked to the fact that "Nemesis, the liberator king" sounds like the winners of the war branded him a bad-guy. Looking at all the potential bad guys in the game, it made me really curious - so many possibilities, so many suspicious-looking people, so many intrigues are possible.

Same opinion, I'm not getting the collector edition, because I don't want to pay extra money for things I'll look at for several days and then it will take dust on a shelf. ^^' And I don't listen to the OST much. I'll be getting a free coin with my game, it's not much but at least it's free xD

I'm excited to see how each student's story will change their design ! My wild guesses for the Blue Lions : Ashe will be more stern and hardened (because of Renato's rebellion and possible death). Annette will be more confident in herself, will beautiful long braids. Sylvain will drop his lady-lover thing and become more Seth-like. Felix will be more like Dimitri, with a long ponytail. Dedue and Mercedes will not change at all, or very little. (And I can't say anything about Ingrid.) For the Black Eagles : Bernadetta will still be a little shy, with maybe her hair covering part of her face. Dorothea will look like Manuela. Petra will perfectly speak english/japanese and have more tattoos. Linhardt will have longer hair. Caspar will become more cynical and maybe lose some sense of justice. I'm guessing Hubert will not change much, and Ferdinand will still be annoying. >:3 For the Golden Deers : Lorenz will become hot and very popular with the ladies (that'd be fun). Raphael becomes more serious and will have actual clothes. Leonie will still be best girl. Hilda will drop her lady-like act to become a fully-fledged assassin (Okay I may be going too far with these theories). Ignace will look like an artist with paint everywhere. Lysithea will become super badass. Marianne will look like a Church lady like Rhea. There, that's some weird theories, but I love making wild assumptions. It helps with the waiting. ^^

It's weird, because it looks like Seiros' green hair, but at the same time we know that Byleth has the same crest & weapon as Nemesis. So, my shot is that Byleth is somehow the third party between Seiros (Green hair) and Nemesis (White hair), hence the light green hair. Byleth's ancestor could be the child of the two, somehow.

I couldn't decide between the Blue Lions and the Golden Deer, but post-timeskip Dimitri won me over. And I know that I can still recruit Leonie, so I'm down for Blue Lions first, then Golden Deer, then Black Eagles.

When they showed the mission with Ignace and Raphael, it seemed like it was made for the two of them, when they spoke about it ? Like, would have it been the same with Raphael & another student (standard conversation) ?? Or do you have to recruit both (no matter which house you choose) to have this mission ??? I'm confused.

I'm so happy to see new characters, and they look so cool too ! I wonder who they are and how we will recruit them if it's possible, before or after the time skip. I'm baffled that they did two chara designs for every character too !! Well, we don't know yet if some of them will not make it, but it's awesome nonetheless.

Oh man, I can't wait to see the students aged ! I hope it'll improve some of their designs ! (Imagine Lorenz being hot)
