I have enough copies of Corrin (both genders), Tharja, Leon (I don't even have a 5 star version of him), Reinhardt, Nino, Soren, Libra, and Merric to work on them if I wanted. I don't know who to focus and when I do decide to focus on someone, I don't get copies of them.

I have a hard time thinking what was the most balanced (can none be an option) because their often is that one nagging thing about that ends up contradicting anything resembling balanced. When I says Fates is the closes to being the most balanced, I really mean Conquest because how I never felt one single unit could solo the whole game, while everyone can be usable in a game that is not a cakewalk(Birthright has Ryoma doing #ryomathings and Revelations might as well have grinding as a requirement for certain units if you want to get everything the game has to offer, and you need the Royals for certain chapters). I also don't feel it suffers from being dominated by a singular class (Master Ninja comes close but they don't have the benefits of horse and flying units). I agree with all of the FE 7 centiments that it has less outrageously busted aspects, I think the pre-promotes in FE7 in comparison to other units (Pent vs. Erk) are the closes it gets to imbalanced. Awakening as the least balanced for me is a no-brainer if only because pair-up is just that busted, along with Nosferatu taking. I don't have to mention Nosferatu taking while paired-up.

I finally have a use for my Performing Arts Olivia, it kinda sucks that she will get the bonus stats throughout. I do wish the base versions of Ishtar, Reinhardt and Nephenee were the bonus units but that is a very minor thing to complain about.

Berkut and... Rinea... Thanks, I hate it. Their dynamic is the main thing I hated most about Echoes (Rinea's treatment) and I don't like how his Fallen Alt and this potential one celebrates it and I am convinced I missed a meme somewhere that explains her popularity.

Character that consistently does well in popularity polls does when in... a "popularity poll". It's really not hard at all to connect the dots and anyone who ignores that willfully ignorant and only want conformation bias. I wouldn't say fraud, but more so people were really insistent that he should have an alt and now that said alt is here (I would argue is less impressive than his legendary alt)... less hype about him. Look at Leif in comparison from CYL 2 to CYL 3.

Delthea is becoming my most F2P friendly merge project because I got her as my free summon on the Week 13 revival banner, the only Delthea's I have been able to summon were with first free summons. I also think it was funny for me how Ayra pity broke me on that World of Thracia for MS!Reinhardt, and now I get him as a freebie on a banner with Ayra as a focus unit. After August's free summon 3 star galore, I'll take these.

Was at a 4.25% on the solo skills banner, I should complain about a pity breaker Elise, but I am happy that she is no longer -Speed.

I haven't played Three Houses (don't have the console), but I remember Echoes being quite easy of a game to the point of I didn't use Mila's Turnwheel all that much. I felt like Mila's Turnwheel was an excuse to for the developers to justify questionable game mechanics and shakey RNG.

Yes... free merges. Even the Brave Ike because I like mine with +Defense, but dislike the -Attack. Saving 20K feathers for Reinhardt is nice. I keep forgeting Mage Eirika is a thing, so removing the -Attack on mine should be nice. And a +2 Ninian is a +2 Ninian.

I'll give this GHB credit for not turning into the Caineghis solo run. The only Book 2 GHB to not turn into one, for me it puts into perspective how units have evolved.

I don't thinking they need remakes. I haven't play Path of Radience, other than graphics (debateable) nothing seems to be outdated. I have played Radiant Dawn (second favourite after Fates), and same deal. I wish Nintendo made older games not on the N64 and older more easily availible.

CYL 1: I picked Lyn CYL 2: I picked Hector CYL 3: I'm picking... Camilla I voted her into existence and I will reap the rewards of actually remembering the vote was happening. I also really love the wrathful/dazzle combo.

I love, love, love Sigrun so I could not be happier that I can have a version of her, I have a new grail project once I get my last Aversa copy. Def/Res Links makes me want to build up an Odin.

With Fallen Takumi's re-run starting today (as of writing this), the hardest GHB for the longest time (still is arguably). Caineghis is a fair and balanced unit, he totally did not man handle Infernal with Tibarn (another fair and balanced unit) and the 2 herons. No sir... did not totally happen.

I think Mercedes should be demoted if only because she does not come with Wrathful or Dazzing in her base kit. This is my standards when it comes to healers in this game at this point.

Time for some Hot Takes while this is still on the front page: I honestly cannot take the politics in this series seriously because of the foundation of the worlds is based on aristocracies/monarchies. A good majority of the Lords (main characters) come from the nobility, people who are inherently privillaged and I feel that privilage is reflected in how the narratives frame said nobility, they never question whether or not they a single family or the rich in general should be the ones to control the power. They rally the commoners to be supportive of their aristocracy/monarchy because the other aristocracy/monarchy is bad and they simply comply, the character endings depicting that the people were happy with their new monarchs. I am someone who thinks this form of government is a glorified dictatorship. Ike is the commoner who fighting to take down one monarch to ensure another monarch comes into power, and he solves years of insitutional racism over night by killing a goddess. Alm is first shown to be a commoner who rises to power... and said power is a monarchy. The twist in SoV is that Alm was the true heir the whole time so he inherted the position. Ike (of all people) who claims to hate the nobles in Bengion (I think its spelled like this), never questions the foundations of whether Elincia (and I like Elincia) should be the ruler of a whole kingdom because she inherted the position. Maybe I just want a Fire Emblem equilivant to the French Revolution but I am just tried of the politics from a series that frames politics from the perspective from the inherently privilaged.

I got the Azura and Alm I really wanted, I am always delightfully surprised when a Mythic/Legendary banner gives me my intended targets. Sothis' infernal was the second time I was able to complete one of these maps without the help of a F2P guide. L!Azura + Celica (Brazen Refine) + Ophelia = dumb stupid OP and it is beautiful.

I wasted all of my 340+ orbs between the Mythic Banner and the Close Defense banner. My results: Mythic Legendary Lyn (My most wanted from Green) Legendary Alm (My second most wanted unit from the Mythic banner) Hot Springs Ryoma (This is why I wait for these banners to summon seasonals) Legendary Azura (My most wanted unit from the Mythic banner) Close Defense: Brave Ephraim (Now have every single Brave Hero) Sumia (No colourless)

I have not played Three Houses (no Switch) so I am not surprised by totally not Tiki Sothis being a dragon. But I am surprised by a lack of a dragon form, I think that might count as a spoiler. But I am summoning like hell on this banner if only for L!Alm, L!Azura, L!Lyn, L!Marth, etc...

Which is why we should call them out on their bullshit and hold them accountable when they pull some crap like this on us. I never got the impression Niles (I think Zero is a stupid name) was suppose to be 40. I agree that Fates representation could have been better, but like you said, it was equal. There was no bait and switch and the pair ending if you do said support is unequivalently romantic. I know people whined and bitched about Fates localization, but their are cases in which change rather than literal translation can be a benefit. Your S-Support change is a good example of this. We are in 2019, their are no excusses at this point. They have to be intentionally ignorant to pull something like this. Especially when you have customers all over the world.
