  1. Doesn't really seem so compared to Brave Lyn. Pros: Lots of stat buffs and a party speed buff. First colored bow unit. Cons: No horse, no DC prevention. We'll have to see her statline first, though. Swift Mulagir's and Law of Sacae's effects remind me of GBA support effects though. Those could have been crazily broken when paired right.
  2. Elise of all people. Still the best healer I've got right now and great for helping during tempest trials or for powerleveling units.
  3. I've got some pretty weird luck, as a F2P player since day one. I don't have many 5 stars, but the ones I have are enough to stay competitive for now. Pulls: 1: Elise (+HP/-ATK) 2: Azura (+ATK/-DEF) 3: Hector (+HP/-ATK) x_x 4: Peri (?/? Lv22) 5: Klein (+SPD/-ATK) 6: Rebecca (?/? Lv21) 7: Ike (+ATK/-SPD) 8: Soren (+HP/-DEF) 9: Faye (-HP/+DEF) 10: Luke (?/? Lv22) 11: Brave Ike (+RES/-DEF) 12: Mist (?/? Lv19) Promoted: 1: Nino (+RES/-HP) 2: Camus Events: 1: Brave Lyn 2: Masked Lucina "Marth" Total: 16
  4. Uh, it's the sun and moon, you wouldn't need a telescope, just binoculars or glasses with protection at most. Personally, I'd like to have experienced it, but it wasn't near me. Just mostly sunny where I was. The news and internet was what I saw of it, which was pretty interesting.
  5. So, I'm trying out Icecube's FE7 Item-based Branching Promotion, and while it works fine on valid promotions that I set, this error occurs if I attempt to use a promotion item if the character is below the required promotion level. In another case, the game would reset if the item is an invalid promotion item for the class regardless of level. Oddly, this seems to be an error with bringing up the "can't use this item" message, as the game seems to know when the item is valid/invalid through the grayed out text. So, I'm not sure what's going on. Is there any information on this problem or the hex values at that offset?
  6. Turns out that yeah, the order and syntax matters. Now it worked. Thanks for the help!
  7. Oh, I see. Well, in that case, I won't need to worry about that I guess. But what's weird is that the tutorials still seem to go on when I placed these lines at the top of the Prologue Events code. Am I doing this in the wrong place, or does every file need to be in the same folder/directory as the Event Assembler?
  8. I think so, but I'm definitely doing it wrong. I'm pretty sure that when assembling, including it should obviously define all the macros. However, I can't figure out where to include it so I get dissembled code in macro form. I've tried including it at the top of the prologue events, then reassembling then dissembling the code again. That just gets the raws. Would I insert it before the entire game's event code, or am I supposed to include it somewhere else? TEST.txt
  9. So, this might sound stupid, but I decided to experiment hacking around a bit with FE7, and wanted to remove the tutorial and text events from the Prologue to make it easier to test stuff. I just want to know how to turn my raw code into macros, as right now as a beginner to EA, it's a bit more difficult to read the raw code and determine what is what without looking at the reference every few seconds. Where in the code to include the stdlib and what process can I use to do this.
  10. I've got Lifetaker Felicia. Castle Address is 05080-20632-77025-31366

  12. Submitted it cause why not. Though I doubt my responses match up with the general opinion.
  13. It took about 10 chapters in when I started, but I found it fairly easy to memorize with the tomes and bows (high accuracy vs new axe level power). Took a little longer with the shurikens, since what axe user is actually going to dodge that (or most units for that matter), but it came along eventually. Honestly, those shuriken don't really seem to have much in common with lances, except for the fact their users tend to fare well against magic and sword units thanks to their high resistance and the sword users' lack of ranged weapons.
  14. So, I'm up to Chapter 16, just finishing promotions besides Fir and Sophia, where I'll get their promotion items later in this chapter. Then I check my units stats, and notice something really strange. Deke has higher avoid than Rutger. So okay, that's in part due to Rutger's low luck, but then I see their speeds. Deke has more speed than Rutger, and so Rutger doesn't always reliably double as a Swordmaster. Just what... Fir here is doing better as a Swordmaster than Rutger this game. As such a rumored high value unit...how badly does the RNG hate him to get these kind of stats? (Honestly, it's not that bad, it's just that he seems more suited to be a Hero at this rate) ...Consider Second/Heart Sealing him? XD
  15. Joshua. Lyn takes up all the space I have for FE7 Swordmaster-type classes, and haven't finished FE6 to know enough yet. Joshua's got some nice story development and even went on a 5 something turn duel with Caellach one his own in my run through the game.
  16. Nice! That's a great help. I don't know if I'll ever get there, but if I do, it's gonna be useful. This makes me wonder what the actual level cap (code-wise) is or whether it just loops back to 99 if you hit 104 or something....Oh well, whatever. Thanks everyone!
  17. Is this possible? I just finished Revelations and so it's time for postgame/DLC. I know that you can Eternal Seal up to LV99, but what happens afterward? Can you still "Level Up" and gain stats/new skills, or are you stuck there for eternity? Also, does EXP gain continue to drop past LV20? I'm not looking forward to gaining 1 EXP per kill from LV26 onward. Anyway, I'm pretty sure there's already a topic on this, so if anyone could point it out or answer, that'd be great. Thanks!
  18. From what I remember on my three playthroughs (each path, so spoilers included)... Bad News: Birthright Chapter 18: Hana with Spirit Katana is attacked by two Faceless, each with about 10-20% hit. Cue getting two consecutive fists to her face resulting in her stupefied face in the dirt. Cue RESET CHAPTER time. Conquest: Leo got 2 points of speed in 16 Level Ups. That is some kind of bad. Where's that 50 growth hm?! Revelations: Azura got literally 1 point of HP between recruitment and about level 30 (chapter 23). THAT...IS...BAD. I had to use a Seraph Robe on her just to fix it. Thankfully, it also seemed to fix her growths too, as she gained two points of HP in the next 4 level ups. ---All three paths: Corrin/The Avatar: Both my Birthright and Conquest files left him/her Luck screwed, even with it as his/her bane. Neither have over 15 by their Endgames, possibly getting critted by several enemies. Revelations Corrin was Def/Res screwed (18/16 base respecively), despite choosing HP as the bane. It got so bad that Anankos' head could literally 1-Hit KO him without defense boosts, and this was with the Omega Yato. Look, when your maid has a better survivability than you, you know you messed up badly somewhere. Yay... Revelations: Arthur got four points of luck before LV20 promotion. That is all. On that note, Arthur dodges literally all attacks in his five battles in Ignatius' paralouge. And gets all crits (or paired Setsuna gets them for him), then kills them all. Rumors of his bad luck are greatly exxagerated I see. Kaze became MVP of all three paths, getting the highest total Hero awards at the end of the chapters. He also has a much higher critical rate with a Barb Shuriken that it actually displays. XD Xander, get out. Now. Silas has your spot in Revelations. Well, I kept them both in by Endgame, but Xander was my worst royal at anything besides tanking. This really isn't much RNG though... The Awesome!: Revelations: Felicia by Endgame has a whopping 17 Defense! No Dracoshields, no rigged level ups (especially thanks to chapter 7). She ended up becoming my best magical unit, surpassing the royal healers. She can KO near any enemy in the game by herself and live to tell the tale! The Greatest, Most Aweseome, (Owain/Odin description here), feat of RNG that happened this game! Revelations Endagame: THIS ONE IS CRAZY! LV14 Ryoma paired with LV13 Leo proceeds to DOUBLE CRIT Anankos' left hand, levels up to LV15, gains Swordfaire, then proceeds to Astra said hand to death on the Enemy Phase. Meanwhile, LV13 Takumi and LV16 Corrin attack the other hand, which had a 70ish and 80ish hit chance on them. Guess what, Anankos' attacks BOTH MISSED. Then comes the head. Nothing noteworthy there. Afterwards comes the surprise...which could do about 10 damage to my strongest magical units/can't even kill Azura in a hit, which I brought a lot of that chapter (not knowing that there even would be a magical attacking core). Proceed to absolutely curbstomp the core with mages, Shining Bows, and the Omega Yato. Overall, it made what should have been a difficult final boss an extremely easy win.
  19. Thanks a lot! And it is great! Seriously though about the rankings, I can get a good rank at everything but Tactics. It's annoying how hard it is to get that combined with the rest!
  20. So...after having used the site for a while for help and information, (the growth rate charts are a HUGE help) I've decided to finally get an account here. As far as my own info goes, I'm a college student and that's all I'm going to say right now. I'm not new to the Fire Emblem series, having played in the last few years every single one since Fire Emblem GBA/Blazing Sword/Rekka no Ken/FE7, however you like to call it. That includes New Mystery! So far, FE7 been my favorite one and has gotten me interested in the franchise since. Currently, I'm on my first Revelations playthrough trying to get all characters (besides maybe Dwyer) with no real experience gained from Free Battles (ie: Only Bottemless Canyon N. allowed) or DLC (except Anna's recruitment one). ...This is leaving me with pretty much no cash left thanks to Master Seal purchases, but oh well. Anyway, enough of that. It's nice to meet you all (as much as that could this way...) and I look forward to being part of the community!
