I wouldn't put too much stock into what the names of the various countries are based on. Lycia is in Anatolia, Bern is a major city in Switzerland of all countries. Pherae was a city in ancient Greece, so that would admittedly not be too far-fetched, but just in general, I think that Fire Emblem just picks historical or mythical names for places or characters that they think sound cool. Maybe with a consistent theme (there's a bunch of Arthurian knights running around in Elibe/Lycia, for example), but not really hinting at a deeper inspiration than "sounds cool", unless Lance and Lot secretly have affairs with Guinivere, or Hector's brother Uther slept with Igrene while magically disguised as her husband.

I heard "hockey" and immediately thought of the most accomplished hockey nation in the world: The Netherlands. Mostly through the success of their women's team, which has dominated the world championship since forever (the only time they didn't win a medal was 1994), while the men are generally sharing the glory with Pakistan, Australia, and Germany. Why yes, I'm from a country where we say "Ice hockey", could you tell? For me, all the vaguely "orientalic" music immediately suggested "Türkiye", because that's the biggest cultural influence from that general "direction" here. Also, I'm slightly miffed that the first video of that sort used stereotypical Bavarian to represent Germany. Yuck.

What Look, I can only guess what point you're trying to make (and try to give the benefit of the doubt that it's not this), but I'm not going to waste my time and try to respond to something that you might have, but just maybe, intended to imply.

You're conveniently not addressing the most central point: Considering a week-old fetus to be a human is, frankly, just as asinine as saying that a toddler is not. It's estimated that up to 50% of all feti don't survive the first three weeks after the fertilisation. "Estimated", because most of the time, the parent won't even notice that they've been pregnant. Do you think that this is a tragedy equal to a miscarriage after six or seven months of pregnancy? Do you think that that, in turn, is a tragedy equal to a toddler dying? If so, why isn't the prevention of very early miscarriages the absolute top priority of all medical science, when every second person dies from it? I'm sorry, I 100% do not see how "Every fetus is a human being" is even remotely defensible.

Yeah, the fun part about smug antagonists is to watch forward to their (hopeful) fall, so it's a shame that we didn't get that with Ludveck. There's still a "perma-stubble and buzzcut" standard for male protagonists in more action-oriented games. Much more narrow, since there's at least different iterations of "hot and young", but definitely less strictly enforced, too. Plus, there's the concurrent archetype of Pretty Anime Boi in other genres, of course.
