This is exactly why i was scared at a full 5 blue summon session while hunting for Azura with less than 10 orbs left. 2 were already 3 stars so I said nope and left. At least I got Minerva first try and Hector not too long after! The best axe users in and the ones I really wanted for do long! As for this arena, i've been using Hana to replace Lyn/Lucina to varying success. i guess i'll have to find a Brave Sword fodder now (i guess i have Draug but i need to feather him up a bit.) actually i have a 4 star Ogma that i could feather to 5 star to feed Hana Brave Sword+, but i'm always hesitant of using 20k feathers for inheritance. Would Hana have good long term use with it? (my only good sword user in the Ogma account is Lucina and i'm planning to upgrade Xander soon. Not sure about Zephiel yet)

Wow, I only have 3 units left before my barracks are full. Guess I should start using Inherit Skill more... So since Xander doesn't really have any good 4 star skills to pass (in fact, to get the full set you need to 5 star him strangely enough), I was wondering if its worth it to just merge 3 star and 4 star Xander together to save on feathers when promoting on 5 star? (Well that or 5 starring both of them and merging both of them but I don't have that extreme of a feather supply to do that) I just really need more 5 star Red units and Xander's Siegfried sounds so good.

After past disappointment last week when the Hero Fest Banner was announced, I decided to try my luck now that I had at least 25 orbs for each account.Of note, my very first summon was.. I then decide to skip the rest of the orbs because I wanted something like Hector or Azura, so been green/blue hunting. So what's next? Hunt for Azura wasn't going well and I was running out of orbs. I did get a full 5 blue orb summon which was....scary since I got a 3 star Robin and Florina, and I wanted to wait for slightly more orbs. And on my second account, was also blessed with my first summon: Also finally have a better natured Robin which I think is +Res/-HP- he's not -Atk at least! Down to 3 orbs and 5 orbs respectfully, so just need to wait for more orb bonus and finish those training tower missions. Definitely a better summon than last week's disappointment! Especially with my main account since they're one of the best units of their type!

I wonder if its worth it just combining both Xanders to save feathers when you promote him into 5 star? His current skills aren't exactly the most sought after, I feel you just want to get him to get wield Siegfried ASAP

Ah, I just realised I missed a day of the omikuji event. Now that's gonna give me OCD... At least I got Celica in less than 5 tries!

Finally got to the 1000 feather reward rank for total ranking on my second account! Well, I didn't have any defense wins for the 2nd week in a row, so it's still the same number of feathers as what I would have gotten if I had a Defense win normally, but still happy I bumped up a rank. The new bonus units don't sit well with my team though, I have none from the Ike Focus and the closest I can use is a lv. 38 Hana or Clarine...

You really appreciate mages in a map like this Cleared in my main account with 4* Nino, 5* Tharja, 4* Olivia and 5* Sharena. First turn was Tharja dealing with sword guy on the right side, knocking him out after a Dance from Olivia. Xander came in and attacked Olivia, thankfully blocking Olivia from the lancer as she survives a Siegfried hit while Tharja deals with the green cavalier. Nino then deals with the lancer, thanks to Olivia and Sharena buffs, while Sharena finishes off the cleric and Xander. On my second account I cleared Lunatic with 5* Reinhardt, 4* Olivia, 5* Lilina and 4* Nino. Similar strategy to the Tharja method, I used Lilina to deal with sword guy and bait the green cavalier. After Olivia's dance, I used Nino to Draw Back Olivia to safety. The cleric used Wings of Mercy to teleport to the right side, which made things a lot easier to deal with the left side choke point. Basically I used Reinhardt + Olivia to deal massage damage to Xander and then moving on the lancer (Nino helped with one attack). All that's left was the cleric which Lilina dealt with after a fully charged Rising Flame. Thank goodness this map came later, I had a poor supply of mages if this was one month ago. Also at least they had the decency to give the green cavalier Gronnwolf so it's not as straightforward as putting Reinhardt/Ursula against Xander which took me by surprise at first. Still very satisfying to beat it without Skill Inheritance

I have a spare -Atk, +Spd Minerva and I'm looking for suggestions on what to do with her. 1.) Merge her with -Res, +Spd Minerva for a +1 Minerva? (Are the merge stats random?) 2.) Inherit the rare Life or Death skill to someone. If so, I have a few contenders but not sure who is the best: -Nino (-Def, +Spd) ...or would she like Fury better? Either way have to retrain he when I promote to 5 star -Lucina (neutral)- she probably needs something to make up for neutral nature. Haven't been using her for a while (used Sanaki for red unit) but I started using her again, would LoD be good for her? Although not sure if a drop in her okay defenses during melee combat is a good thing... -Lillina (-Res, +Spd)- She's pretty new so not sure what to do with her. She's a lot speedier than Sanaki and for now Attack +3 has been working but LoD seems like it would enhance her current boon/bane combo. Otherwise which heroes really need LoD to work? (in case I want to save Minerva for a future unit)

All i see is OOOOOORRRRBBBBSSSSS!!! i like these though, more things to do the better. Also the stratum quests go well with the double SP event so hooray!

From my experience of using Lucius as an offensive healer during his bonus unit period, I just used his Pain stuff to whittle units down for my heavy hitters to pull through. Which would've been fun if I gave him Savage Blow- and if he took hits, that was fine because it goes with Martyr. Why don't you give him Heavenly Light as a special? Probably the best healing special, besides Kindle Fire Balm/Swift Winds Balm.

Oh okay, mine is Apple so I guess I can't use that haha Beat the missions with my second account now For bringing F!Robin, I based it on mkv's strategy so I had 4 star Donnel, 4 star Olivia, 3 star F!Robin (who did nothing) and 5 star neutral Lucina (instead of my 4 star Navarre, because them being 4 stars probably changed enemy movements). Lucina was there mostly to clean up after Donnel killed the thieves. For Navarre vs. Shadow Navarre, I used Donnel, Olivia, Navarre and 5 star Reinhardt (him being -Atk actually helps in this case to soften up Navarre enough for Navarre to kill). This one took longer to figure out after different team changes but I have to say, I love using AoE skills in these Grand Hero Battles and used them to clean up axe guy/healer after Navarre triumph against his own shadow. Donnel's Reciprocal Aid was also clutch to keep Navarre healthy.

Yes finally did it on my main account! Thanks a lot @Kiran and @pianime94! For the Robin mission, since my Hana didn't have an Attack boon and couldn't kill Navarre, I decided to use Lyn instead. The enemies moved slightly differently but thank goodness Lyn has Galeforce! The final turn was her killing the axe guy with her Sol Katti effect (she was in red HP), then killing the healer and then after a Dance finishing off Navarre himself! For the Navarre vs Navarre mission, I used Sharena as inspired from @pianime94's strategy but still kept Gordin for the thieves. Sharena with a +1 Speed seal is so great- she survives both Navarre and the ninja (and after a mistake, I found out she can even survive 1 round of the axe guy!) I forgot the details since the battle went fast but everyone except Robin had single digit HP left. Now i just need to do my second account- been training a 4 star Donnel and Navarre. By the way, what do you use to record your battles?

Really digging Reinhardt, Minerva, Cain, Abel, Merric, Linde, Palla and Catria. Also Matthew, Hector, Lyn, Shanna, Ike, Titania and Lukas (can't wait to try him if I get Echoes). And the upcoming Lloyd- just by design and voice lines alone I can tell I'm going to like him when he gets released.

Yeah Reinhardt just needs extra Dancer support since at least the Brave effect of Dire Thunder kind of makes up for the Attack boon. At least Ephraim can take hits and give others stat boosts with his weapon. My Reinhardt's not exactly the greatest wall even if he is Def boon haha

That feel when my 5 star is -Atk :( Still wrecks things but not as much as I would have liked. Actually, between him and Hinoka, all the 5 star blue units I've pulled (I really needed 5 star blues badly so I was desperate) has been -Atk. Oh well, more time for Sharena to shine! At least I have a 4 star Reinhardt that's neutral attack in my main account so I may just upgrade him in the future. Might be saving a set of feathers for Xander when he comes for some Siegfried goodness. Now I need more reds, and it's actually good that all the GHBs have been red swordies in a row since I only have Lyn.

If Oboro can support with Niles of all people then Leo is no problem @Astellius considering Merric was my first 5 star (with Lyn) and I got another duplicate Merric (1 5 star and 4 star) i think Merric wants me on his team. He's pretty bulky and served me well early game so I have no qualms supporting him even if I haven't played his game lol

Argh so many good focuses perfectly timed after the Ike Hunt Orb massacre Then there's still a Xander banner soon as well (which I guess won't have Ryoma now that he is in the special focus right now) From a character standpoint, I'd join Team Leo but don't have him and I want bonus points haha

Hmmm might just go with my 5 star units for this one. Team Sanaki and Team Merric. Then if Merric loses I have Robin/Tharja. If Sanaki loses I'll go Merric/Robin.

5% banner though haha I need to feel better after a whole week of overtime. At least that meant extra cash... I'm just sitting on 5 Orbs and 7 orbs on my accounts, so what a rotten time to run low on Orbs heh. Being patient enough to get a full 20 orbs to try that focus is gonna be hard. Hopefully I at least want to get 1 of those focus characters. but yeah I do know the logic of not really spending money for something like this which can get addicting fast...

Oh my gosh it's so tempting to stop f2p mode with these two banners...plus a Linde/Julia chance in GHB too! Feels like if I have to open my wallet it would have to be this week or something but argh the temptation is too real x___x

Oh, my Palla is Defense boon so she has 25 HP left after the initial baiting. Maybe that's why the thief moves every time.

My Hana misses the KO on Navarre- she only does 22 damage so she is left with single digit HP with LoD 2. Is there something I'm missing? Is yours +Atk? edit: ah! I noticed i have a spare 3 star Barst for Spur Attack fodder-maybe i'll just give it to Robin then to add attack for Hana? (And whenever i need to replace her with Navarre, Hana missing the KO is good although she'll have red health. @pianime94 i also tried your way but how did you get the right hand thief to stay on the right for so long? In my go, he leaves that spot earlier so he reaches Palla after she kills the other thief- softening Palla up with Moonbow before Axe guy kills her. @Ice Dragon what star is your Sophia? I have a 4 star one in my other account,is it doable with just normal Red Raven Tome? What's the least amount of Triangle Adept I can give her- does it have to be 3? (Actually used my last orb hunting Ike and somehow summoned a -Spd Roy instead buuut never had a Roy before so might try to use him. Would A lower level TA from Selena work?) work's stuffing up my plans to grind for the week :(

After Gordin kills thief, healer moves down and doesn't reach yet. But if Gordin is on rightmost square he is trapped by the healer, who can either move to trees to attack him or if Gordin moves left, is still in range. I need him to move back to Navarre's side quickly to deal with Poison Strike thief. Abel can't KO the thief without Olivia's Hone Attack so it's like Olivia needs to be two places at once. i did however change things slightly where Gordin only baits the thief in the tree 2nd to the right edge. Then Olivia can dance him so he can kill the second thief while Abel kills Navarre. Olivia then moves in front of Gordin to dance Abel out of axe guy's way. She can take 1 hit from axe guy at least. now the axe guy is the last problem. He's too buff for Gordin to kill even with a dance. Failing to kill just means healer can use Physic on him. Gordin gets doubled, Olivia can't take another hit and Abel can't do anything. Female robin can do 8 damage but she gets doubled on enemy turn.

If Gordin goes to the very far right and kills the thief, the healer can move down and kill him if it's the tree on the column before the far right (not on top of mountain) the axe prevents the healer from loving downward. I can then dance Gordin to safety. however i think i'm getting position wrong on the left side of the map after this. Abel leaves Poison Strike thief with 2 HP if he is not next to Olivia. (olivia was below the tree Gordin was in to dance hik out of the way). Gordin can kill the other thief instead af least and Abel can kill Navarre fine but he is left in range with the axe guy. now there is a new problem of Abel being in range of the axe guy no matter who he targets. So close but I have to wait after work to attempt this strat again

Seems like the Gordin method isn't exactly working, he needs an Atk+1 seal to KO the thief after rogue dagger buffs but no matter what I do, he gets caught out by the healer who doubles him in return. If i had hp+3 he would survive but then he wouldn't have KOed the thief. i could use Olivia to dance him out of the way of the healer but either she is in range of the other thief or Abel needs a dance to get away from the axe user. might have to sacrifice my only Henry for Sophia if worse comes to worse- is Triangle adept 1 enough for her? Need to train her up, too.. oh a new mkv vid? Might have to check that out after work. Or the Palla and Sharena one since they are at level 40 already :O
