  1. PoR characters after I've finished watching a Let's Play of the games. I just find it amusing, and gave me more connection to the banner characters haha
  2. Okay cool thanks! Came close, unfortunately I probably didn't move Gordin early enough (or moved him too far to the right) and he couldn't reach the axe in time. Also, he gets finished off by the Healer after the Thief's damage (maybe I'll give him HP+3 Sacred Seal since she does 21 x 2 damage). Nice idea though, I would have never thought of Gordin baiting the thief first because I always played him as a Player Phase unit. Just have to try again next morning and when the stamina has replenished, so I can see the light! @Ice Dragon Oh I forgot about Sophia! I've got a 4 star version of her in my second account, although she's still very low level so I'll have to train her up. In the meantime I've been training my Reinhardt and Lillina closer to level 40, thinking hopefully they might be useful. (At least Lillina seems to slightly have more survivability than my Sanaki). Either way, I'll have tot rain up more red units like Sophia anyway.
  3. Soren should have probably gotten Windsweep for his Wind theme flavour haha And hey at least it protects him from daggers/bows
  4. I've trained 1 of her to 3 star level 40 just now, so I just need to give her 3 star Cecilia's Gronnraven Other account is still level 15, so I have a way to go with that one. (I do find Gronnwolf is much easier for her to use while training, so many cavaliers in training tower)
  5. That's exactly the problem, because of the slot she fills, I'm pretty much trying to take down everyone with just 3 units. I was just wondering if I at least give her Gronnraven and at least a Triangle Adept, maybe she can survive one of the thieves (although Poison Strike Thief annoys me to no end). Also find I stuff up my positioning sometimes with her just hiding in the corner.
  6. Close Counter is pretty much the Point Blank DLC skill that you can get from the Heirs of Fates DLC as a reward. Also as Othin said, a Takumi enemy skill in Conquest Still a very annoying skill to face but it at least makes Archer bosses a proper challenge
  7. Oh my bad, it's the Using F!Robin, clear Lunatic Navarre's map and Use Navarre to to defeat a lv. 40 Navarre. Currently training both so they can at least do some damage for the finishing blow.
  8. What was in the new sudden download? Actually, I wonder if Ike missions will have new defense missions?
  9. Oh damn, just when I got down to below 20 Orbs on my main account- good thing Shadows of Valentia orbs are still in-effect!
  10. Oh cool, I'm saving up feathers for 5 star promotions so if that 4 star Selena is useable that works too. At least the Speed would mean she gets doubled less despite the defense loss. Is Triangle Adept 1 usually enough for both gender Robins against thieves then? That was the only thing I was thinking of foddering the 4 star Selena for at the moment. @Quintessence That Lucius strategy was exactly the one I used for F!Robin map with F!Robin/Navarre. Together with Olivia and Nino, that map was pretty easy and Lucius's Pain staff chipped enough for Robin to secure the kill.
  11. Well the idea is for them to bait the thief on the right side- every unit there will have 1 range movement anyway, so at least Draug/Zephiel's movement shouldn't be that big of an issue trying to bait the units in the trees (if I can get them to move properly). Draug has high speed for an armour without Brave Axe, while Zephiel has Wary Fighter- so maybe those have potential? (I was also thinking Sheena since her Svalinn Shield protects her from the Hammer) Anyway, I would have to train them all up from lv.1 (same with Navarre) so it would take time for me to test. As for my other units- I have 2 accounts so (potential units in bold). It's a bit lengthy, but I also needed to know what my units are so I have the list handy for reference next time. ---------- Main Account- My past tactics would use Michalis to bait the thief on the right, and use Sharena for Navarre and Tharja for the Axe guy. Robin filling in as 4th slot makes things trickier without Olivia dancing, though. It's always the thief behind Navarre that causes me problems- Gordin can one shot the Poison Strike thief but I need Olivia to dance him out of the way and he can't do too much to axe guy. Level 40 units Still Need Training Secondary Account- This account I have more trouble with if I'm only using 3 units + F!Robin, mainly because of the Axe user. Before I would use Sanaki + Olivia to take out the Axe user, but Sanaki dies to the thieves/Navarre if I don't Dance her away and I'm more limited in team slots this time. I used to use Minerva/Michalis to bait the right thief, but again, fielding F!Robin makes me miss a blue unit. Level 40 units Still Need Training No inheritance for any, but I'm open to adding Gronnraven to female Robin and Triangle Adept 1 or 2 to both Robins.
  12. Ooops, I meant Gronnraven! @Kiran sure i'll make a list when I get home. Mobile posting is tricky right now
  13. How would a 3 star +Def/-Res Draug or a 4 star Zephiel go with the ninjas in this map? i was thinking of just not using Life or Death for Zephiel for survivability because I notice I only have a few Reds for the Axe guy and most are frail (Lyn, Sanaki, Tharja). The Hammer at least has weapon triangle disadvantage against the armours so hopefully that helps (maybe work with Zephiel's Reprisal?) worst comes to worst maybe i'll give my f!Robin that free 3 star Cecilia's Gronblade so she can at least do something?
  14. Oh cool, thanks for the tips. Well when I say trained, he's 3 star lv 33 while the new Robin is a new 4 star. I'm trying to get at least one of them to tank the Navarre ninjas better when I'm lugging F!Robin around. Also just pulled a 4 star Selena with -Def/+Spd on a different account. @DehNutCase Worth it or fodder?
  15. So I finally have a non-Neutral or non-Attack boon Male Robin! His bane is Defense though, which puts a slight damper for my tanking plans for him.. Just wondering, is Bonfire still feasible for -Def/+Atk? Or should the special be something else? And for a tanking T-adept Robin, should I still train my halfway-trained up neutral Robin? or Is +Atk better now anyway?

  17. Bartres, Berukas and Cherches on my iPad. Ironically, I really want more Bartres (Brash Assault for my Lyn) and Cherches (need Attack boon) for my main account. Otherwise, for both accounts, lots of Oboros, Ninos, Matthews, Virions and Subakis. Saizo's quickly catching up though.
  18. One of my most successful arena teams was Sanaki, F!Corrin, Minerva and Sully (back when she was a bonus unit) F!Corrin was a great for Hone Attack and enemy debuffs with Dark Breath, which paved the way for Sanaki to destroy greens and Minerva to deal massive damage to lances (and sometimes reds!) with her speed and mobility. Sully was a quick, mobile sword killer, clearing the way for Minerva. Her Draw Back was also useful for pulling Sanaki out of the way after nuking someone. Had to drop change team combos after the bonus unit changes, but this team secured me the most consistent wins- and that was before starting position changes were a thing.
  19. Yeah, although there's always the voice in my head saying 'what if the other 4 had 5 stars as well?'. One of my first 5 stars was a full upll with 2 5 stars (Lyn and Merric) so it always nags me when I skip. Although I do get better luck with hunt summons (maybe not seeing a screen of 5 3 stars makes me feel better so I feel I have 'better' luck) I want to hunt summon for blues in the Zephiel banner but i have so many meh 3 star blues and I just noticed the lack of good reds in my main account. But then again, the tempation for getting a good blue 5 star is also great. When do they usually announce the next main banner? the day before?
  20. Would there be a chance for another banner between the Alm banner and the Celica one? (Read the date wrong) Also what are people's thoughts of summoning? Are you always doing the 5 orb for the extra unit or just doing hunt summons?
  21. My Sanaki is a pretty solid Green magr counter- she comes with Triangle Adept naturally. With neutral Attack she leaves Julia with about 2-3 HP while taking virtually nothing from her, so if you use a Dancer or give her G Tome breaker then you're set. Very squishy Defense and low Speed though but she can soak up those green tomes naturally
  22. So it's come to my attention that you can pass Fortress Defense to healers, so I'm thinking Azama might actually work well with this skill. Azama already has the lowest Attack in the game, and he just relies on the Pain staff for after battle damage anyway, so the -Attack doesn't affect him much in exchange for +5 Def. (I mean, currently Fortress Defense is locked to a 5* Lukas, but if it somehow becomes more available in the future it could be useful for Azama) So maybe something like: --The Great Wall of Healing-- Azama (+HP/-Atk) or Sakura (-Atk/+Def) Pain/Fear Rehabilitate Heavenly Light A- Fortress Defense B- Renewal/Live to Serve C- Threaten Attack/Savage Blow/Breath of Life Sacred Seal - HP+3 With a combination of Defense boon (or HP for Azama), Fortress Defense (+5 Def) and the Sacred Seal HP+3, Sakura/Azama can survive any neutral attack. Rehabilitate is the better healing option as your healer will be taking less damage from units so Martyr heals less. Interestingly, if you give Azama a Defense boon instead of HP, he can take most Brave Weapon attacks well (Gordin/Barst/Abel does 2 damage, Raven does 4, Donnel/Cordelia/Hinoka/Ogma does 6, Klein does 8)- at the cost of losing to Linde. Heavenly Light for healing all allies when activated. Renewal is easier to get, since Live to Serve max is 5 star only. Threaten Attack for more walling. If you want to go slightly offensive when using Pain, use Savage Blow. If you want to heal adjacent allies while attacking, then Breath of Life could be interesting. However keep in mind, because of your healer's drop in Attack stats, you need to rely more on your allies for attacking since Pain can never KO a unit. Alternatively, Fear drops the enemy's Attack even further, making it easier to wall units. Also, the new Sacred Seal HP+3 looks to be the seal of choice for Healers in general. edit: Actually Sakura can survive every unit with +Def! She survives, Linde, Minerva, and Hana by 1 HP. Thanks to Fortress Defense, she also survives Lucina and Ryoma by 5 HP. She also survives Kagero's Poison Dagger+ by 12 HP- more than Azama because of her better speed. TL;DR Azama is the better physical wall with better Defense/HP stats while Sakura is the better balanced wall and has more Speed and Res. The important thing is Def boon is needed for Sakura to survive Minerva and Hana by 1HP, while HP boon is for Azama to survive neutral Linde by 1 HP.
  23. Any builds for Leo besides the Red Blade Tome weapon? My friend is trying to think of making him better somehow. While trying to think of something, I did somehow come up with a purely support Leo that's less competitive and more for helping train units (and also has a cheaper skill cost). ---Debuffer Training Support--- Leo w/ Brynhildr Any Rally/Harsh Command Blazing Light A- Armored Blow/Warding Blow B- Seal Attack/Seal Speed/Poison Strike C- Savage Blow/Threaten Speed/Threaten Attack/Threaten Defense -------- Basically, it would be using Brynhildr's in-built Gravity effect and then a Seal skill (Attack/Speed), to help baby units in the training tower. Healers can't use Seal skills, so this is the closest we will get to a Gravity + Seal build. Poison Strike is also an option if you just want straight up damage and can stack with Savage Blow. Savage Blow for skill cheapness and helps soften up groups. Otherwise, if you want to stack the debuffs, use a Threaten Skill in combination with a Seal skill that targets a different stat (for example, Seal Attack with Threaten Speed). Combine this with Brynhildr, and enemies become easier to manage for your allies. A Skill can be anything, but if we're going for a 'cheap skill build', either Warding Blow from Niles or Armored Blow from Catria helps protect Leo from damage when targeting ranged units like archers/mages. Niles/Catria can also be acquired for free from the recent quests. The goal is to feed the kill to your training unit anyway, so I didn't go for Death Blow/Life or Death (which are harder to get anyway). Threaten Defense is an option, since Leo's attack is magical, there's less chance of his attack suddenly KOing the target, which helps you train your physical units. Blazing Light is filler, and mainly because Leo already has it and is just to punish grouped up units- damaging them enough for an easy kill for your training units, Assist really isn't usually required because you'll be doing the sealing, but if the Seal is not needed, a Rally can boost an ally's stats enough to KO the enemy. Otherwise Harsh Command to reverse annoying debuffs. Other options include Draw Back/Reposition if you want to keep allies away from harm. Leo is very mobile as a cavalry unit, so his movement can be useful in support situations in higher stratums. His tome is especially useful against cavalry/flier units that may give you trouble when training your team. ------------- edit: Also with the new Fortress Defense skill and HP+3 Sacred Seal really benefits healers the most. I've done some calcs, and a +HP/-Atk Azama and a +Def/-Atk Sakura can survive any neutral nature attacker at least once. Some something like Pain/Fear with Rehabilitate, Heavenly Light, Fortress Defense, Renewal/Live to Serve and Threaten Attack/Savage Blow could work. I've made some calc details in this post: https://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?/topic/70616-healer-builds/&do=findComment&comment=4803647
  24. Actually Camilla's Brave Axe+ and Draconic Aura is more useful to give away. Straight away I can think of Cherche who wants that Brave Axe+ and Draconic Aura, since she can do the Brave build better with her higher Attack stat. Otherwise, any high Attack unit likes the Draconic Aura skill. Since she's 5 star, the Brave Axe+ is something you want to give away since that's a 5 star only weapon. My advice, sacrifice a 3 or 4 star user for the normal Brave Axe, then sacrifice Camilla for Brave Axe+, Draconic Gaze and Draconic Aura. (If using Brave Axe+)
  25. She has high Attack, but her Defense/Speed ain't tat great. Pretty much just need to play her like my Sanaki, red player phase glass cannon. I would have preferred her father though haha
