  1. Well there is a thread with various healer builds that could give you ideas here: So +Atk/-Def is no good then I guess (I thought maybe +Atk and Blarblade would have a bit of synergy). The only other ones I have are +HP/-Spd and +Res/-HP...I guess if you're saying his neutral Speed is too fast for bulk then maybe I should use the -Spd one? Well my 3 star Robin doesn't have that good of a boon bane combo either anyway, so I'm not too fussed about using Robin over Odin right now. Actually would Fury + Renewal help Odin with his meh stats? I guess more HP means he doesn't die as fast to Fury damage? Or, if Odin's HP is the best, how about a support semi-healer build then? Blarblade+ Moonbow Reciprocal Aid A- HP+5/Triangle Adept B- Renewal C- Hone Attack/Speed, Breath of Life, Savage Blow Even if his Attack is low, I guess there is at least more chance of damage (either through buffed Blarblade/TA weapon advantage) compared to a staff (which is divided by 2)? Moonbow as a proc because he already has it, and I can't think of better ones. For what its worth, Odin has 3 more HP and Speed than Robin, so swapping his HP with Reciprocal Aid is just me trying to think of some role for him. If I'm using the -Spd/+HP version of him, then he ties with neutral Speed Robin (is this slow enough for faster special charge?). If HP boon, 46 HP is high for a blue unit (43 if neutral). For reference, Sharena has the same HP/Spd stat as Odin (obviously she's superior with a better weapon and offenses, and she has 29 Def/22 Res compared to Odin's 'balanced' 25 Def/Res). If we're comparing with other blue character's neutral HP stats, Gwendolyn, Effie, Ephraim and Nowi have more HP stats (so Odin has the highest for blue tomes FWIW). So this Odin isn't meant to be a tank like Robin, but an HP swapper who ideally only attacks from afar when need be. HP swapping also means he will be side to side with units. He supports the team and with Blarblade, the team supports him if he needs to attack. Being adjacent to a Hone skill user is best, and if Odin has a Hone skill himself, he can support his adjacent allies in return. Alternatively, if you want to focus on more healing, Breath of Life is an additional healing skill that heals all allies adjacent to him. For maximum healing gimmick, give him a Blue Egg+? (lol) Otherwise, Savage Blow for some guaranteed splash damage. --------- Anyway, I've managed to pull a Hinoka, although sadly she has an Attack bane and has a HP boon, so she's less offensive/more defensive than Cordelia than usual . She'll probably be a better defensive user of Triangle Adept compared to Cordelia, so she's better at fighting sword users... Maybe something like Killer Lance+, Moonbow/Escutcheon, Triangle Adept, Wings of Mercy/Lancebreaker? Although that's a lot of skills to find, any other suggestions? I mean she still has better attack than Catria, with the extra HP sort of making up for less defenses/speed. The only Pegasus Knight with more HP than her is a +HP Florina, so I guess another semi-healer build is another option? ---------- Also how would go about fixing a -Spd Raven? Is Brave Axe/Life or Death even worth it with a Speed bane? Or should I give him something like Darting Blow/Death Blow?
  2. No more Arena quests? Dang, just when I had diminished my orb supply to 20 :( Did get some 5 stars at least but still, I guess i'll just finish the few lunatic story missions left and start saving again...
  3. Sadly Poison Strike is illegal but you can give him Savage Blow at least as the next best thing if you want to go offensive. Speaking of mages, any ideas on Odin? He's kinda overshadowed now after inheritance but I've pulled a +Atk/-Def variant and I really want to make one of my favourites work somehow. Also I pulled a 5 star +Res/-Spd Raven? Speed bane sucks but it's better than Attack bane and I wanna make a 5 star work at least.
  4. http://ichigoringomikan.tumblr.com/post/159406438653 The best ranking screenshot of the Voting Gauntlet Also Carrot Lance Effie
  5. Thanks, oh I definitely will haha! It's just too bad she's not on my main account, where I just summoned my 4th Camilla for future maid fodder (whenever I get a +Attack one in that account) I do have like 4 3 star Cherches and 1 4 star Cherche I can sacrifice in this lucky account though, maybe that may help speed up SP? Unless their skills are wanted by other units
  6. So I'm glad my few friends in Team Minerva has this maxed out Hector, saved my hide a lot of times.... ..Except when I had 2 Minervas + said Hector against 3 Reds and 1 of them was Triangle Adept Selena :(
  7. So I thought I'd pull a focused summon before the Wyvern Rider banner ended, since I've been reading how it had better chances of 5 star pulls and... First batch only had 1 Green and another 3 star Cherche :( Next batch had only 1 Green orb as well... So glad I waited for a good nature before using feathers :)
  8. My Lucius just killed someone and received 3 sp. not sure if it's all the time or if there are only certain conditions
  9. That's an interesting build! It's giving me war flashbacks of the Training Tower Tenth Stratum Quests when Elise would do a surprisingly good amount of damage to my teams.
  10. Ah I forgot Darting Blow, etc. can't be used on Healers. Just Savage Blow with HP+5/Speed+3 will have to do. With Miracle + Martyr, keep in mind Martyr adds to the special cooldown which makes it 6 turns to use (I used Lucius as a previous arena bonus character) . Of course, the best way is to just pair your healer with a Dancer to keep healing and activating Miracle faster. But yeah, going from the previous arena bonus characters, I used both Azama and Lucius and having a Pain user really helped softened blows for my other arena units. Lucius was really squishy in terms of Defense though so activating Miracle asap was a must, although mine had a HP boon and with HP+5, Martyr would heal a lot. It's just unfortunate healers don't have a lot of skills to choose from.
  11. Yeah that's the main thing when considering Physic vs Rehabilitate. Physic heals less HP, but has 2 range and no increased cooldown. Rehabilitate is much more useful when your ally is low health (can heal back to full health!) thought but it leads to an extra turn for your special. I was actually trying to look for any good builds for my 5 star Lucius but I guess the Restank set suits the best for him.
  12. Pretty sure they meant in Awakening, Cordelia through reclassing can have access to Bowbreaker, Axebreaker abd even Tomebreaker. Also there is no Triangle Adept in Awakening. Fun fact, her child Severa can have access to all breaker skills depending on her father (so has the potential to get Swordbreaker and Lancebreaker if she has acess to Wyvern Rider class)
  13. Nice ideas, I was looking for healer builds. Also note you can use Savage Blow with healers (but not Poison Strike) so could be useful for Pain builds? (I know the wiki says it excludes staves but I just tried inheriting the skill to Lissa and it's possible). What about Extra Range healers? As in cavalry healers with Physic? Extra Range Healer Base: Priscilla, Clarine, Elise Staff: Gravity Assist: Physic Special: Heavenly Light A-Skill: HP+5 or Speed +3 B-Skill: Escape Route, Live to Serve or Renewal C-Skill: Ward/Goad Cavalry, Savage Blow or Breath of Life The Physic lets you heal opponents over water/mountain tiles, and since you're a cavalry, this also includes trees where you normally can't access. Cavalry healers because they have the most movement. Heavenly Light is for healing everyone in the map. Physic also means there's no increased cooldown so you can use your special faster. A skill is for either more health or preventing doubling. Escape Route is preferred for B skill in case you are boxed in, although Renewal/Live to Serve also works for survivability. Since you'll be healing from 2 tiles away, Ward/Goad Cavalry works best although if you're not running a cavalry team, then Breath of Life is an option if you want to snipe an enemy from afar with Gravity. Gravity immobilises the opponent, letting your units retreat to regroup and if they are within range of your healer, Breath of Life gives them a small amount of HP. Savage Blow if you want something offensive. Clarine has the most balanced Def/Res stat build and is the fastest of the cavalry healers. Priscilla and Elise are fairly similar, although Elise has more offense/speed whie Priscilla has more HP (and is not as rare). Also another idea based on one of yours: Bring the Pain/Painful Blow Base: Azama, Lissa, Elise, Clarine or Priscilla Staff: Pain Assist: Rehabilitate or Martyr Special: Heavenly Light A-Skill: HP+5, Speed +3 B-Skill: Live to Serve or Renewal C-Skill: Savage Blow Pain + Savage Blow = Profit. Again, good for training other units. Best to stick to attacking melee units from afar, and have HP+5/Speed+3 add to your survivability.
  14. Ranked about 178 I think for Cherche. Though we may have lost I've got 2500 feathers so that's nice. Also Minerva in my second account gave me a total of 2600 feathers (including the 500 win), so not blowing all my feathers yet wasn't too bad especially since I couldn't play much on that due to work/sickness.
  15. Lonqu's neck when he's attacking also has a weird angle to it
  16. For 5 stars, Lucina in my second account. The other account had a Lyn which I thought was interesting since she went really well in Choose Your Legends and was always interested in her despite not playing the games, and I loved her so much after using her in Heroes. Same with Minerva. Otherwise if it's any rating: Odin, Frederick, Cherche, Oboro, Beruka, Effie, Lon'qu
  17. I guess you'll enjoy Rinkah using Leo's Iceblade :D Yeah the contradiction's pretty cool, just weird science-wise haha (but then that applies to a lot of logic in games)
  18. Added :D I hope my Abel kills swordies well for you Ninian is appreciated, I've been getting someone's Fir multiple times lately
  19. Exactly, although I wasn't going to mention it because story reasons haha Even weirder when they attack and they have the Ice effects (because Ice Tribe) while using Flame Shuriken
  20. I still think it's ironic how the Ice Tribe maid works best when using a fire based weapon lol
  21. I think it's because Camilla is more advertised and is shoved in the spotlight a lot of the time. Or the smothering/babying. Other reasons could be Charlotte's character is about deceiving men for money so there's more of a reason (bad reason but still) for her outfit. She does have a hardworking side to her and sends money back to her poor parents (so there's at least some redeeming qualities for her money loving personality). There is development in supports (which can be a bit repetitive) but at least you feel she grows in personality more than Camilla. In essence her character is all about "don't judge by looks too fast". Back on topic, sigh I missed a lot of hours due to work so even with all flags spent on Cherche I can't go over the 1000 line anymore.
  22. Exactly what happened on my phone account- I wanted a Minerva. Ironically, in my other account where I already had a Minerva, I got Minerva on first pull as well. At least not an Attack bane like my first one so all is well :D
  23. Actually thinking about the Beruka build made me think of something similar for vanilla Camilla.. -Flying Healer (Res Tank version)- Killer Axe+ Escutcheon/Sacred Cowl Reciprocal Aid/Ardent Sacrifice A- Iote's Shield B- Renewal C- Hone Attack/Speed, Spur Attack/Speed, Breath of Life -The only thing Camilla has against other Wyvern Riders is her Resistance stat (31). Think of this set more of an airborne, mobile healer than a Wyvern Rider. While her base HP (37) and Def (28) is lowest among the Wyvern Riders, it's actually pretty decent compared to healers- Defense is tied with Lissa (28) and only beaten by Azama (32) while HP is tied with Lucius (37) and beaten by Lissa (39), Wrys (42) then Azama (43). What she has over healers is her mobility and better offensive presence, so this set functions as a role compression set. Another thing she has that healers can't get is a Defensive Activation Skill, so Killer Axe is used to activate Escutcheon/Sacred Cowl faster. Camilla is also the second fastest wyvern rider (32), only beaten by Minerva (33), so she won't be doubled as much as Beruka (and Camilla has balanced defenses overall). Unlike Beruka, Camilla is here to take magical hits, which also puts her in range to defeat the frail mages next turn. If she gets damaged, just fly away to let Renewal do its thing. Iote's Shield is mandatory since she has low Defense for a Wyvern Rider. Renewal + Reciprocal Aid helps heal your allies. Ardent Sacrifice is an alternate option if you're using someone who doesn't want to be in full HP (i.e. Lyn, Defiant/Desperation builds). Being adjacent to your ally also means good synergy with a Hone/Spur skill. Breath of Life is an option if you want AoE healing when you attack mages but is pretty situational. Add Carrot Axe for gimmicky HP healing attacks for you, too. @LordFrigid For Ryoma, how about Fury + Vantage? You'll gain a boost to all stats instead of just Speed so you can survive more hits even if they outspeed you. Fury's HP drain will activate Vantage faster, which lets him do work on Enemy Phase. Draconic Aura for damage. If your health is too low maybe Reciprocal Aid? Otherwise Desperation if you prefer killing things on Player Phase?
  24. Had Cherche not been in this gauntlet, I would have gone Beruka! That said I think it's the fact that she olays the cool, emotionless assassin too well that she gets overshadowed- some people might even think her no emotion means no personality so it's understandable when pitted against other characters she gets overlooked. As for Camilla yes her design gets too enhanced too many times but some of her supports that don't involve Corrin are pretty decent, like how she took Beruka under her wing as retainer. Yes her dotingness is played up to eleven as player fanservice but in context, when her father's mistresses' children would be killed due to competitiveness for the a better there is a little base for her personality. Basically there's a reason for her messed up personality (see Niles's support where he calls her out on her personality) in fact one of her supports that i enjoyed in Revelations is her bonding with Hinoka by teaching her how to sew by Hinoka's request, actually a pretty refreshing support for both characters. Also, i find her English VA reaaallly tries way hard to be fanservicey that it puts off a lot of people. There's a bit of maturity in her Japanese VA and is much more pleasant to listen to admittedly. but yeah Camilla has a lot if problems design-wise but there are at least some good things that appeal to some people besides her looks plus her usefulness in Conquest By the way fun fact, Beruka's armour used to be Camilla's when she was younger.
  25. I've got a -Spd/+Def Nowi waiting to be promoted to 5 star... Would Swordbreaker + Triangle Adept be overkill? Maybe I should just use Quick Riposte if using TA for more coverage
