  1. I'll bite with something a bit crazy that my tired mind just materialised. -Flying Budget Healer- Killer Axe+/Carrot Axe+ Escutcheon/Sacred Cowl/Bonfire Reciprocal Aid A- Iote's Shield/HP+5 B- Renewal C- Hone Attack/Speed, Spur Attack/Speed, Threaten Attack -A healing Beruka? Sounds crazy, and yes it is. This flying assassin strangely focuses on support while being a defensive wall if need be. Beruka has massive Defense (as much as Hector) and has one of the higher HP stats of the Wyvern riders (Tied with Cherche, only after Bartre and Hector). Killer Axe + Defensive skill helps with her tankiness, although this can be substituted with Bonfire if you want some damage. Carrot Axe is more of a gimmick weapon with slight HP gain lol. The main draw is using Renewal + Reciprocal Aid. Since you will be next to an ally after using your Assist, Spur/Hone of your choice works well to boost your teammates. When low in health, just fly away out of reach until Renewal heals you back up. Due to not being an actual healer, at least you maintain some offensive ability with your teamslot when you need to attack. Functions like a flying Azama without the Pain staff. Iote's Shield is preferred to protect from arrows, although if you don't have a spare Michalis, HP+5 works too for more HP. While Res bane doesn't help her tanking ability, she wouldn't go well with mages anyway and what little boost in Speed she has means slightly less units double her, so take what you can get. Otherwise... -Poison Wall- Killer Axe+ Bonfire Swap/Reposition A- Death Blow/Iote's Shield B- Poison Strike C- Savage Blow -This Beruka takes the lead to soften up enemies for your ranged units- making up for her poor damage output with guaranteed damage after battle. This uses the speed boon a bit better as you have a bit more chances to hit twice. Strictly player phase but can be useful for training units -Seal the Deal (Support)- Killer Axe+ Escutcheon/Sacred Cowl Swap/Reposition A- Iote's Shield B- Seal Attack/Seal Speed/Obstruct/Renewal C- Threaten Speed/Threaten Attack -A more defensive variant that is meant to be a frontliner shield. Again, she's not the hardest hitter but she can survive physical hits so Seal/Threaten skills help support your teammates as she takes hits. The skills debuff your enemies in preparation for your other units. Not the most efficient way of killing things but could be useful for training stratums that works in enemy phase. Otherwise if you don't like Seals you can just go for Renewal for self-healing and let the Threaten skill do its thing. Or Obstruct if you're training frail ranged units.
  2. I had one with Cherche, Priscilla and Chrom against a Ninian, Merric and I think Roy Corrin It was in the Conquest Map 1, all of them where on the left island, so one of my units had to cross the bridge to get them to move. Unfortunately it was the Roy Corrin who waited on the other side of the bridge so Chrom was my best front-liner. Unfortunately because of Ninian's Dance, Chrom died quickly. In retaliation I KOed Roy with Priscilla and disposed of Ninian quickly with Cherche, who fell quickly to Merric. Now at the start of this battle, I thought a 4 star Priscilla would be worthless as a teammate. Turns out I was wrong- she tanked Merric's hits like nothing. Thank goodness Merric's Res is pretty low, I won with only Priscilla left! edit: Nevermind , not Roy, it was Male Corrin with Obstruct! That's why it was so annoying with that one bridge.
  3. Yeah I'll see how it goes tomorrow morning, then I'll back some feathers if need be Otherwise if we do lose, we already won one important thing against Cordelia- Cherche clearly has the superior artwork :P
  4. I'm on team Cherche! sadly she'a not doing too well against Cordelia right now. i hope it's a timezone thing and it will be a bit closer tomorrow. for now i guess i'll just get a good ranking as much as i can
  5. Correct me if I'm misunderstanding, but does the wyvern banner have more chance of giving out more greens orbs because all the focus units are green?
  6. Have no Kagero (didn't show up in the pull) so took me a few tries to get the right combo and work how the AI moved. For Lunatic used Tharja, Olivia, Michalis and Abel. In my other account I used Sanaki, Olivia, Minerva and Nowi (glad I didn't 5 star her yet so she was at an appropriate level for this). Had Effie but sadly -Def and Thief with Poison Strike is annoying as well as always being next to Navarre
  7. I'm in a similar situation- actually have 2 -Def Ninos that I'm itching to promote. i guess not having +Atk means I'll have to rely on Life or Death more? i mean i have a spare Minerva now but I'm tempted to use that for limit break instead, although a lot of units like Life or Death.. Speaking of Eirika, is a -Def/+Spd worth it? If so, any suggestions for skills? She's 4 star so she's not full potential yet without her signature weapon. just wondering if it's worth the feathers to make a blade team with Tharja.
  8. Just did a random first summon on Wyvern banner... Edit: Did a random summon on my phone account.
  9. Oh so Gunter is a focus unit? That means I don't have to rush training Michalis for now, since I'm already doing a half cavalry team of Gunter and Ursula in my current team. So Alphonse is back as a bonus unit, I'm guessing Sharena will return for the focus after that
  10. Quick question: Which Cherche is better? 1.) HP boon with Res bane or 2.) Speed boon with Res bane I'm planning to give her a Brave Axe in the future so would the extra points in Speed help or is it better to have bulk since she's not the fastest anyway? I have to raise them from 3 star since all the 4 stars I have don't have really good boon/bane combos..
  11. Pretty much Gunter is needed for cavalry quest Finally did the all quests (except Armour) for both accounts. Managed to get the cavalry quest done in 2 days, I wasn't going to attempt it but I got both 4* Eliwood and 4*Gunter in my summon. Eliwood is...kind of bad without Durandal and was only there to provide in-battle defense points. Was using a team of lv 40 4* Sully and Ursula, and lv 37 Gunter and Eliwood. Pretty much just had to choose mostly red maps to get this done quickly. A few maps at the start were lost due to carelessness and could have been avoidable. The luckiest one was when I faced a team of 3 reds (the one with two horizontal bridges on a river) and 2 of them (Sanaki and Selena) had Triangle Adept so Ursula/Sully had a field day. Can I just say I really hate the map in Story mode 1-5 (the Mystery one)? That is so enemy mage/archer friendly and there is always one unit with Draw Back. At least the cavalries have that extra movement bonus but still annoying and is the one I mostly lose in in terms of 10th Stratum. Now I can spent the rest of the bonus EXP period to train units and not worry about level 40 quests (no way I'm gonna level up Draug/Sheena/Gwendolyn in time).
  12. Oh thank goodness I haven't sacrificed my 4 star Level 40 Wrys yet for Rehabilitate! He was my first healer and first unit I used feathers on just for Rehabilitate haha It's a good thing to collect units after all!
  13. Oh just realised this isn't the Ask Questions topic and was confused...oh well thanks for the suggestions! Yeah I was planning to 5 star my Cherche too but I think I'll wait until I get a +Attack nature (or I i get lucky in the wyvern rider banner- either Cherche/Minerva would be fantastic but Michalis sounds like a good backup unit in case of disappointment) On the plus side, I did finally reach the 4000 mark in Arena with my current team! (Was really caring more about the daily arena quests, that's why I wasn't taking into account stat totals and such) edit: by the way, how much SP does Nino usually want to get the most wanted skills for her? I have 2 -Def/+Spd Ninos on my other account (1 is 3 star level 40, other is just pulled 4 star), so I was wondering if it's worth it to upgrade 3 star since I already have all those SP or if I should just use the 4 star one to upgrade to the eventual 5 star. As for skills, currently I have a spare Odin to give her Moonbow. Although I don't have spares, I also have a Hinata for Fury and a Shanna for Desperation. Just want to make as much use of the Exp bonus season while it lasts.
  14. Oooh thanks for the idea! I like to collect units so maybe I'll wait for another Abel if I'm lucky for Swordbreaker (I wish I didn't merge Abel before Skill Inheritance was announced..). Having both Ursula and Abel together really helped with the cavalier quest. And yes I was about to add Sharena to the list since I forgot! Having a melee blue unit is also pretty good since right now, Lyn is my main melee unit. Since Michalis is pretty much a bonus unit for the next arena change, I might go with him and maybe replace Narcian in GHBs. Would be good if I don't get a Minerva in future banners.
  15. Hi, I'm looking for suggestions on who to 5 star as my Blue unit for my team. My normal main team is 5* Lyn, 5* Merric and then switching between 4* Ursula (with 4*Gunter if using her), 4*+1 Catria and/or 5* Sakura/Lucius. Currently I notice I need a good blue on my team, which is why I'm using Ursula + Gunter (for the bonus points, too). The candidates are: 1.) 4* -Atk/+Res Robin- Maxed out he's still...meh at best. While Colorless coverage is nice, -Atk kind of hurts and wondering if it is worth the feathers to promote him. 2.) 4* -Res/+HP Catria- I will lose my +1 boosts (I did it before skill inheritance was a thing), but she's a good melee fighter. Then I become super weak to Colorless Archers though but her mobility/Seal Attack might make up for it at times 3.) 4* Ursula- This means I'll have to run Gunter with her for maximum damage. She is limited in forest maps and such but with Gunter's boosts, she is pretty solid. 4.) 4* -Def/+HP Abel- Fast delete button for Swords, but -Def isn't ideal. Will also lose his +1 boosts, and the only skill he is getting is HP+5 so I feel he's not the best priority? Otherwise since I have 40k feathers, I can also upgrade any of these units: A.) 4* Frederick -HP/+Atk - Been a solid mobile Defensive tank, and Wings of Mercy is pretty clutch. A game full of swords is bad for him though B.) 3* Nino -Atk/+Spd- Again, -Atk hurts but wondering if more doubling makes up for it. Will need more feather for her to be maxed out and might need to run her with Olivia/Tharja. That said, maybe I shouldn't 5 star a -Attack unit. C.) 4* Tharja -Res/+Spd- Speed boon is great, but I'll be even more weak to blues and needs more support. D.) 4* Michalis- Almost maxed him out at 4 star, wondering if I should use the exp bonus to 5 star him. Any help is appreciated :)
  16. Trying to think of a set for Oboro.. How's this? Brave Lance+ Swap, Bonfire/Escutcheon/Sacred Cowl A- Death Blow/Fury B- Swordbreaker/Lancebreaker/Renewal C- Threaten (Atk/Def/Spd)/Fortify Attack/Speed She's kind of like an infantry version of an armour with nice defense, but poor Speed. Too bad she can't get Wary Fighter. -Bonfire is to make use her defense stat. Otherwise, if you want to be more defensive, Escutcheon when against non-Reds and Sacred Cowl to lessen archer damage? (Not sure how much it will protect her from her Lord Takumi's arrows...she'll gets doubled a lot though). -Swap is a call back to her Fates appearance and goes well with her physical tanking ability/if using a Fortify skill. -Death blow (or Swift Sparrow if you can) to ramp up damage on player phase with the Brave Lance. Fury also works as a general stat increase. -Renewal works with Fury and for the defensive route in general. Swordbreaker may sound like overkill, but with her Speed she'll need as much chance to double as she can. Otherwise, maybe Lancebreaker for general weapon coverage when tanking. Wings of Mercy is also generally good option for clutch Swap plays. -Threaten or Fortify of your choice for general team support. Brave Lance does lower her Speed even more, but having Life and Death lowers her tanking niche. Sapphire Lance makes her an even more specialised battler against Reds and at least reduces red mage damage a bit. Would Killer Lance (for Skill activation) or Carrot Lance be worth it for more defensive sets?
  17. Dang, out of luck vs a cavalry team of 3 Reinhardts, all with Fury and all boosting each other with the cavalry boosting skills. Never stood a chance..
  18. So many banners, so much to pull I went ahead and did a last summon of the last banner and got a 4 star -Def/+Spd Nino. Thing is, I already leveled up a 3 star Nino last week all the way to 40 for the extra SP...I guess the new 4 star summon saves me feathers (I'll 5 star her eventually). Now I feel those levels/SP of the 3 star would be wasted admittedly Could use a 5 star Effie, Minerva with better nature and a Hinoka. I'll at least attempt an Easter one just for Chrome (Axe exp bonus woo and Atk+Def is neat) or flying mage Camilla. Cherche all the way for the gauntlet though!
  19. Cherche for me <3 although i love Hinoka and Beruka too, so might go to them if Cherche loses, although I don't think Beruka is that popular anyway i have both Cherche and Camilla for unit bonus so if Camilla is in the finals I probably have to go to her for some extra feathers as a last resort. might see a lot of archers in battles haha
  20. Yeah Saizo's Res isn't very good so Poison Dagger allows you to KO squishy mages asap before they can open their tomes. At the very least, Sacred Cowl might lessen the damage on the weaker mages. Stay away from Henry/Robin though.
  21. I think Ursula would still be a good investment at 3 star (upgraded her from that in my second account), you get extra SP to spend in case you want to give her inherited skills Otherwise, maybe just do maps where you only have 3 units to beat and if not, just do a first stratum map to reset the units.
  22. So I found out I have a +Atk Lon'qu and a +Spd Lon'qu, both having Res as a bane. I've been training the Attack boon one but before I sacrifice the Speed boon, is he also worth training as well? Is there anything where the extra speed stat matters?
  23. Have you tried using Ursula? I find she was vital to my Cavalry quest, she, Frederick and Abel would stick close to Gunter and whenever there's a mage, Ursula would be there to take do some player phase sniping since she has the best Res out of that team. Her Thunder proc skill also helps when its charged. Abel's Aegis softens up the blow from some Red mages though- I use him as a fast Sword Killer, and after the Brave Lances, he usually gets Aegis up. Gunter and Frederick are there to be melee shields and to tank dagger/archer weapons. Frederick helped with the knights, although Ursula took care of the blue knights. But yeah I think the key is to using Ursula- her Wolf tome really helps as well since there can be a lot of horse units in the Training Tower. That or some other ranged units to with good res to cover mage weakness. Not that they were all 4 star, with Abel having a +1 level.
  24. Also I recently rolled 4 star Gunter and 4 star Eliwood in one pull in my second account. It's like the game is telling me to do the cavalry quest now (I only had a lv 40 Sully, lv 30 Cain, lv 22 Ursula and lv 1 Clarine before). It's telling me to go boost the cavalry away! Needless to say I've been training them and am finally in the 30s. I've used the Gunter + Ursula combo in my main account and that worked super well with Abel the swordkiller and Frederick the merciful, mobile tank.
  25. Yeah I know, it's understable was just kidding haha Also Easter Xander can bond with Leo as they talk about tomatoes and carrots.
