Increased my highscore by 10 points to 4,524. Currently rank 3521 The highest I can possibly score with this team is 4564, but that would require backing out until I get a 652 point enemy team for 7 times.

The rest of 9 has been completed. Beat 9-2 easily. Michalis kills the blue knight, Roy kills the green knight and Narcian, and Ninian kills Zephiel. 9-1 was completed only needing Michalis and Roy (and a dancer). Kagero was just tagging along. Thinking back, I only really lost 9-5 as I didn't expect Michalis to be able to tank 2 hits from the blue mage, otherwise I would have probably won.

I beat 9-4 without deaths, but 9-5 had to be cheesed with a light's blessing. Will be trying out the other 3 when my stamina refills. Edit: 9-3 has been completed on first try! Apparently Michalis just destroys the map.

Fliers is done. Armours is a lost cause, so my stamina is going to be used to complete the lunatic challenge quests. Is the 9-5 one even possible without cheesing it? RIP my light's blessings.

It's raining orbs!

Complaining always helps for me. I made a small rant on the first day of the banner after blowing through all my free orbs to no avail, then on the next day, I pulled her on a yolo roll. Hell, my first post here was a rant about my "bad luck" on my old account before I rerolled. I've been nothing but lucky ever since.

Finished cavalry yesterday, working on fliers now. Since I only have 3 level 40 fliers and only one of them is 5*, the general strategy is to reset the stratums until I get as few reds as possible, then let Michalis carry the team. 3/15 done so far.

I don't have access to fury as I've never pulled a Hinata. I also dislike fury builds, so not an option either way.

@Arcanite Nice to see that you're enjoying the game! Take note that once Lyn's tale is over, and you begin Eliwood's, there will be a new set of units you start with instead, and the units you used before will be re-recruited later in the story (the exp carries over, thankfully). Take note that you won't get your Dancer/Bard back until much later though.

Seal defense is redundant with threaten defense already equipped. I don't have access to renewal, so it's probably going to be either quick riposte or lancebreaker

What B skill should I put on Michalis? I'm considering quick riposte or wings of mercy, but I'm open to suggestions. The current set is: Hauteclere Smite Ignis Iote's Shield empty B slot Threaten Def

Just pulled a duplicate Elise, of all things. Also pulled a Lon Qu, Odin and Setsuna, whom as far as skill inheritance goes, make some excellent skill fodder.

+Atk IV does wonders for Ninian. mine OHKOs Lucina with triangle adept 2 and can tank a hit from any falchion wielder I've never had problems giving her kills when training her to 40 or grinding SP. She steamrolls red units with ease, and performs well against blues. However, I do recommend unequipping dance when grinding so she herself can be danced.

So, regarding the SP gains in arena, apparently the bonus characters are the ones who gain 3SP per kill while everyone else gets 1SP. Can't believe it was that simple.

Caved in and feathered Michalis to 5* since green is the only colour I didn't 't have a 5* of...until now. So my current list is, in chronological order of obtaining: Pulled: Lyn, Roy, Elise, Ephraim, Cain, Lachesis, Ninian Upgraded: Lilina, Michalis Total: 9

All that practice with my new team paid off. Perfect run on first try for a score of 4514!

Beat lunatic easily. Narcian is a godsend for this map. Team was Ninian, Ephraim, Roy and Narcian. Turn 1, bait blue Pegasus with Narcian, then retreat and finish Michalis off with Roy. Ephraim takes care of the red cavalier, Roy takes out the red Pegasus, then Narcian finishes off the lance soldier.

That being said, when compared to other sword units, such as the two most popular swords in the arena, Lucina and Ryoma, the former is used for her ability to kill dragons while the latter is used for distant counter, while also countering greens and being able to 1v1 opposing swords like Selena. Does Selena have any other draws to differentiate herself from the lords? A suggestion for the main post would be to add calculations for other meta units like Tiki(Y), and add a final evaluation on whether it is worth sacrificing a 5* Karel to make the set, especially for those who already have a sword lord at their disposal.

The thing is, how many red swords does one normally see on a single team? Usually when I play the arena, each team only has one sword lord(almost always Lucina), and around 2 blues. Units like Draug and Laslow are never seen in the arena, so calcs for them are mostly irrelevant. This leaves maybe one or two kills(if there's a Hector) for your set, and the same red units can be just as easily dispatched by a blue without having to worry about swordbreaker.

Takumi isn't as much of a threat as he was back then due to skill inheritance (triangle adept robin), so being "Takumi safe" isn't really much of a draw. The current meta revolves around ORKOs, so extra bulk at the cost of offensive stats is not a very good trade off. Selena can still be used effectively, I'm not denying that, but her lack of a 16mt signature weapon hurts her viability.

I prefer the challenge timing as it is now, as I may have lessons during the update time period. The time period is set as such as it will be around the time when most players are home from work and school in Japan. Conveniently, my time zone is only 1 hour behind Japan so I'll be free to play it.

I updated my Lyn set with rally speed, as I realised that I can stack it with her spur speed for a total of +8 speed to one unit. 40 speed Ephraim here I come.
