Which would mean we can't decide on stats/skills until the Easter banner's gone. Hmm. Well then, that makes this more of a gamble than a well-informed decision, but my initial suggestion stands. If you need a blue mage or want Lucina because she's a limited character (or simply just because you like Easter Lucina), then by all means go for it! If neither of the above apply then I'd just wait.

If you need a blue mage or just want her because she's limited edition, then go for it. Otherwise, I'd advise you to hold onto your orbs for the upcoming banner (at least until we get to know skills/stats at which point the recommendation may change to waiting for Celica's banner, which WILL be a thing within a month). Whether or not you know or like the Gaiden characters aside, Alm's worth pulling for if you don't already have a Falchion user.

I haven't played since the update yet (waiting for the reset for new swords), but it sounds like I'm going to run into the same problem... I had two +1s and two +0s on my team but regularly ran into +10 teams and was even able to make top 1k every now and then. I really hope I don't get matched up against lower teams that cause my score to tank :/ (I, too, am one of those madmen who actually enjoyed fighting against merged teams with my non-merged team. Adds a nice level of challenge)

Okay but plenty of people are more focused on looks than personality. Just take a look at the last gauntlet results (not that I'm saying Camilla doesn't have personality, just that I'm fairly certain a large number of her supporters weren't focused on that). If nothing else, Faye is hella cute.

You could, but Azura is generally considered the superior dancer anyways, mostly because she's actually perfectly functional as a combat unit whereas Olivia is mostly relegated to just dancing unless you inherit some skills (in which case it becomes more of a case of "do you need an extra red or blue unit").

I'm more interested in her stats than her skills (since those can be fixed up with inheritance). Though just in general I'm interested to see what brand new skills/weapons all of the banner units come with, for potential inheritance purposes.

I'd say Sharena. Extra buffs for Nino (Fortify Def and Rally Atk), innate Threaten Atk, and a cute smile. Overall very solid unit (and with how red heavy the meta is, two blues is fine). Not to mention there's a decent chance she'll be in next Arena season's bonus roster (since we recently had Anna then Alfonse).

Well, that's disheartening. Not gonna stop me from thinking she's cute until I learn more about her though :D

Where did you see her crit artwork? I'm sure I just derped and missed something, but all I saw was a comment two pages back that had the standing artwork for all 4 banner characters but not attacking or injured artwork.

I'm admittedly fairly competitive, but I'm more or less set on a solid Arena team (not gonna bother with trying for +10s and such. I'm perfectly happy just ranking top 5k, occasionally top 1k every week as a mostly F2P). So from now on my feathers are going to be going towards 5*ing characters I like :D (looking to 5* Nino the precious cinnamon roll next. Bonus points because she's actually a great unit too, but even if she weren't I'd still 5* her eventually just bc I love her)
