  1. Eh there's not many of them and hey may as well go all the way with that RPG Aesthetic Also wouldn't be surprised if some quests are added as dlc or something.

Yeah it kind of blows when its a banner like Spring where there is specifically only two colors with the banner and if those colors are the ones you specifically want or in need of it makes going in and seeing 4 reds and a colorless a bit frustrating even if the odds og getting something good are still pretty solid
  4. There's going to be a quest at some point that will be taking the order of heroes into a lunatic end game map, I just know it.
  5. I guess the logic here is to just slightly offset the pretty high base growths Kind of surprised the entire cavalry line has no penalties.
  6. I think this is the first time I've seen negative rates. Strange how the amiibo classes have growth rates but no actual rates. e: nvm, they were under the enemy rates
  7. I have like 4 (three star, but could upgrade them as needed) Donnels. Any key units (or type of units) that might like what he offers? I know vanilla brave lance generally isn't worth it and HP+ is at best filler, but what Drag Back & Reciprocal Aid? Or are those just too niche?
  8. I think it's more about playing it safe in case there's a sudden low turnout. I imagine games like these are fickle. Though yes it'd be nice if there was a "wow you guys really blew it out again huh" reward
  9. The 6 & 7 dancers getting magic would be nice anyway. Tethys could be red, Elffin blue and Lallum green. The bard was a mage class anyway in jurgdal so Elffin fits right in.
  10. As interesting as that would be, I think a more obvious variant on this would be letting a unit swap their skills on the fly. If someone wants to get rid of their triangle adpet for some other skill they own, for example. lamest variant: you can only swap out weapons, specifically

If they don't, they can just bump some down to a 3-4 character after the banner ends.Why Rebecca stayed a 4-5 star archer I'll never get, but a huge banner like Blazing Shadows would be the best time to include some so-so units that get the bump into the commons pool. That said, judging by the interview with the developers treating the current content as "season 1", i'm guessing we'll get a huge batch of new characters next february or so (maybe earlier).
  12. FE1/3/11/12: Dolph, Macellen, Nagi I was going to say Bord & Cord until I remembered the two interchangable knights. Bord & Cord at least have Barst as an anchor and the fact they're so interchangeable is The Joke in like every game they show up in. They even got into Mirage Sessions! Meanwhile I almost forgot about the 2 knights completely and I don't think they have any staying power in anyone's minds. Nagi just because you really have to go out of your way to get her, she's at the end of the game, and she basically exist as a mysterious tiki replacement/naga theorycraft material. FE7: Renault, Merlinus, Will Renault's sort of at the end of the game, doesn't really stand out statistically and all his interesting stuff is hidden away in supports and battle dialog people may never see. If I hadn't see those, I'd forget about him is all I'm saying. If he gets in I bet it's because Nergal gets added and they want to play up his relations with him. Merlinus is a bit of a cheat but the only real way they could make him work is if they made him a horsebound sword user (with a special sprite to accomodate his cart); he does inexplicably carry a sword at his waist in his art. Will just exists, he's That One Archer but I've never seen anyone really care about him; it's probably not coincidental that we got Rebecca of the FE7 archers before Will is all I'm saying And I can't really pick anyone out of FE8-10, 8's cast is small (orson maybe but he's not REALLY playable so...) so i'd be surprised if we didn't get everyone and none stand out as not being at least a little stand out. Due to Awakening & Fate's popularity I highly doubt we don't get their normal, full playable casts. And all the "post game" Awakening units bar Priam are important enough that we'll get them eventually I'm sure. Fates' prisoners are the only ones I expect we'll never get but those don't necessarily count. I'll admit my reasons are kind of arbitrary, especially for like Renault who you could apply to all sorts of characters. e: Just remembered that Candace & Nichol were both kind of special and even got on the choose your legend poll so who knows, maybe even they'll get in some day.
  13. I noticed there was a movies section that has the opening and all the summons you've seen which leads me to: did they never add more movies for newer characters? Kind of funny they made a big deal about it in the interview. Maybe they realized most people sklip them
  14. honestly even then the entire thing's a pretty easy affair. I've swapped over to my level 40 Nino for the gree quest and am matched with the mid-30s at worst.
  15. I've been using a level 27 3 star subaki he honestly does fine? I think the game looks at you & your randomly chosen comrades' stats/levels before matching you up
  16. operation: support the underdog is doing GREAT things for my feather reserves. I'm saving a couple hundred flags for the last round though. Regardless of the underdog next round, it will be difficult to rank high just because of all the people are flocking to one or the other, I imagine
  17. Oh jeeze no wonder everyone was saying to give ursula the _blade tome Also I realize now I misread how this worked and thought it dealt more damage if the enemy had buffs.
  18. How does the damage calculation for Gronnblade and its clones work? Is it like if a unit has +4 attack, it deals +4 extra damage or does it see there's an attack bonus and just add +1 (before calculations, i assume). Despite having used Nino for ages I've never actually ran the numbers.

  20. Even Cipher added cards for them AND the fe6 manga, after all. Even being irrelevant shouldn't hold them back too much (see also: the majority of past characters) Worst case scenario, they just release alternate versions of the actual mirages like Chrom rather than Itsuki

I definitely remember an interview, but I thought they said they just had no plans for it "at this time" and not "it's impossible" cuz like worst case scenario you just put in itsuki in his carnage forme. not that hard. You get the feeling they hadn't really thought about adding them. I'd be surprised if we NEVER got them, but they're likely not a priority.
  22. Cavalry-specific weapons would be lame if they did it now. But we're going to get Laguz/beasts and those weapons work on them too. It really feels like it will happen eventually.

Beast Killers aren't as useful now, but once we start having cavalry, laguz and misc beast people running around it will start getting silly to have the only beast killing weaponry on a small selection of mages. The only special weapons I don't see them adding is the Wyrmslayer, just because there's no random enemy manaketes. At least I assume that's why there's no wyrmslayers; the playable armors certainly aren't worth giving every single normal class their armor slaying weapons already.
  24. I think it'd be funny if they also decided to give everyone the statistically least favorite Fire Emblem character, Glade, alongside the banner. I like it when places acknolwedge the unluckiest characters in polls like these (pokemon had a similar poll and gave away a special Simisear alongside the most popular pokemon, for example) and doing it as a free unit would be funny. Especially if he has voice clips about it. I was going to say to throw him into the banner as an additional focus, but that would just be mean rather than funny.
  25. I'm guessing they'll be introduced eventually as a "shake up". You can't stick to unique/semi-unique (Wo Dao) weapons for ever and reavers would be a great way to give new so-so characters an immediate niche before you throw them away. I also expect Beast Killers & Hunting Knives (Hunting Bow too?) to be added once we start getting Laguz and such.
