  7. All of what I'm saying makes sense to me when I say it, except maybe the self-deprecating. I guess I have some odd ideas about how the game works. Not sure what to say aside from that. If this is going to be consistent, why not ask for a sub? @Poly, Kay and whoever else: Time is a'wasting.
  8. Oops. Left a part unfinished. "As for AtE," I don't have a defense except that I was losing confidence, which I have regained by taking a break. I'll be less self-conscious from here on. If I survive, anyway.
  9. What I'll qualify as actions were my prods to Darros and Cam and vote on Cam. The vote on Darros was not a test, but a result of what followed. The town intent behind my initial suspicion on Darros is pretty straightforward. I didn't see anything to gain by unvoting. Depending on his reaction, I would dismiss or confirm my suspicion. This was a pro-town test because we needed something to take us out of RVS and it did seem odd. I backed down at his reaction without thinking. I fell for an AtE. In retrospect, this is another bad habit that happened in my first game. It also ties into the bad habit you mocked. I'll go into it in a sec. With Cam... I don't have any excuses here. I believed he was voting Junko over something small with a false accusation thrown in. The voting over something small was true, but the false accusation was imaginary. The town intent here was in pressuring someone who was too hasty to get accurate information. The bad habit is bad because it's something I have a history of letting change my reads. Just by having someone challenge me with good arguments, I tend to think of them as town. In my first game, it caused me to buy into Terrador's act. In this game, I reflexively backed off of Darros. It goes beyond treating them as town. I begin to doubt myself just by being challenged. As for AtE, Dude, I already told you. I have no reasons or expectations other than what I've already stated. I made all of two minimal moves which are of little consequence now. You are not going to get any more info than I have given. Read the above of this post. If you're still convinced I'm not town, there's nothing I can do but offer actual help to town. Getting on that. Be aware my reads have changed as of rereading ISOs and making this post. @Walrein: Your reason for voting Darros is very weak. You have not contributed anything and are simply letting people vote on your lynch target withour contributing. This is a scummy thing to do. What do you think of Darros now? What are your reads on others now? @Darros: Upon reading your ISO, I have to take back what I said earlier. Most all of your actions since I started defending my vote on you have been pro-town, notably seen here (calling out scummy lurking) and here (giving logical advice and counters). I have one question. Why aren't you trusting your gut with FFM (that he's using his town meta) when you have other reads; why haven't you voted me despite your red flags? Is FFM's behavior just that scummy or what? @Poly: Where are you? You have done nothing but make jokes so far this game. You said you would make that big post well over four hours ago. I am getting bad vibes from this. @Paperblade: You... Have sheeped a vote on me, laid back for a while, and just now voted on Sangyul with practically no case. She had more reason to vote Darros than I did. This reads like switching targets to get Prims off your back. I know you saw his post because you read enough of Sangyul's to make this vote. You just shot way up in my reads. @Cam: You have been putting a lot of pressure on me but your vote is still on Junko despite you dropping that case right after voting. You also jumped on everyone who agreed with your vote, which makes it read like prod voting. What are you trying to make happen? @Pascal/FFM: Subbing out because you are being voted makes no sense. If you keep getting voted you will die and there will be nothing to sub into. What is the point? @Kay & Psych: What are your scum reads? ##Unvote: Darros ##Vote: Paperblade
  10. Actually, as things stand, my investment in the game is very low. If I'm going to be such a subject of scrutiny the whole game, I'd rather get lynched so that the people targeting me can face scrutiny instead. My survival means very little and I'm not exactly helping town, except as a target to draw mafia votes (at best). I'm not saying I have evidence of being town, any more than you do. I'm saying that the stuff against me isn't evidence of me being scum. I'm saying you guys should spend more time getting content on other people, like I've been trying to do between addressing posts about me. You have enough about me. Maybe I'm having trouble reading this accurately since I'm the one under duress, but there are a lot of eyes on me when we know for a fact that there are more than one scum. I don't expect you to forget what I've done. I do expect town to give attention to more than one person and/or not spend so much time on one person. Especially when all of the attention on that one person is over two actions that happened early game. But let's not forget. You are my biggest scum read. I have this bad habit of answering anyone who challenges me as if they are town. Might have something to do with the situation I'm in.
  11. Let me clarify: Nothing I have done makes sense as scum. At worst, it just doesn't make sense. I'm really tired of repeating myself about the same first two or three posts. As such, the message I am getting is this: "YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THOSE THINGS," repeatedly. Message gotten. No more reasons for those things I did will be forthcoming because as has been pointed out by just about everyone here, my reasons were bad. You know my reasons. They were bad reasons. Nothing is coming from rehashing how bad they were. I thought they were fine when I thought of them. Is that scummy? Well then, we'll see what turns up if I get mislynched. I am wasting town's time by becoming such a target. You could be spending your time on more important people. As town, I am a liability. I don't have anything to contribute beyond what I have already given. Here's something to think on. If I were scum, I would ask my more experienced scum partners how I could remedy my situation. You can be sure that no matter who they are, they would not be happy with how I am acting now. Why am I still acting this way? In summary, as town, I am wasting everyone's time by acting scummy. As mafia, I am a liability to the minority, who needs me to live. I am playing badly objectively no matter what my alignment is. There is no handwaving to be done when what I said it true no matter who I play for. I don't have the time or incentive to defend these actions further. I can only point to my intent, because I know the actions themselves are bad.
  12. Citations granted: I'm getting the message that I am bad at the game here, not that I am scum. I cannot give any reasons I have not stated because I don't have them. If you aren't satisfied, that is unfortunate; my reasons for my pressuring have all been shallow and you will probably stay that way until/unless I can contribute something actually helpful. Most of my time this game has been spent answering posts like yours. @Prims: What has Psych done that draws scrutiny?
  13. Citation granted: Well, I don't see any benefit for a town. It's not as if there was a threat of a mislynch from his vote. If it were me, I wouldn't have changed my vote until I had something to gain by doing so. What did he have to gain by unvoting as town? That was my reasoning... For questioning him initially, at least. What rekindled my suspicion on that was how he acted with the FFM antics.
  14. Or not on the votals; they appeared while writing. Thanks.
  15. Don't really know what else I can say at this point. While what I did may not have been smart, what makes you think there is scum intent behind it? You say I am making bad posts, but are they scummy posts? My reason for 'waffling' FFM is that they did this exact same thing in the last game and still turned out to be town. They fit exactly what he did in the last game. I cannot tell a difference between their behavior as town and as scum, so I'm going with play that does make sense for my reads. Darros, on the other hand, has done things that make sense from a scum perspective. They have done only things that make sense and have not put much pressure on people... Until FFM started acting erratically, then he voted FFM. This is the real kicker, as I explained in an earlier post. Read my ISO. If Sangyul's numbers are correct, then the scum cannot afford to lose a member on the first day. Bussing here is way too risky. Therefore, I have to pick one as my strongest read. Between the two, I'm more inclined to believe that Darros is scum because his posts are both cautious and logical for scum to do. Let me make this clear so that I don't have to repeat myself to the sheep again: I am not voting Darros because what they did is "especially bad". I am voting Darros because I can get a more solid read on the intent behind his behavior. I am more willing to mislynch on someone I am confident about than someone I am less confident about. There will be tomorrow if we lynch Darros and it's a wrong vote. I'm also under heat so I have incentive to my thoughts out in case I'm mislynched. Some of you were not in my last game and don't have the time to bother reading FFM's behavior. Bottom line, j00, I'd like you to explain how I profit as scum from my behavior. I'd also really appreciate it if I could get that content I asked for: Prims, Paperblade, and others... Please chime in. Preferably addressing the intent you read behind things. To hosts/bystanders: We need some updated votals, please.
  16. Can you please post about this game? The mafia are keeping me from my Walden as we speak.
  17. BBM voted for FFM, not Junko. It was too early to really expect anything, but I expected you to get defensive; you did not, which was good. I also misread your post (as stated previously). I thought that at worst you were mudslinging on Junko for voting on Darros (which he didn't), and at best you were being an idiot and I could figure out which it was by prodding you. Turns out I was the idiot because all you said was that he 'jumped on' Darros, which gets rid of my original reason for suspicion full stop. It wasn't a strong suspicion in the first place, but it was all I had. You could have learned this by reading my ISO. I've already explained it a few times. Got a fresh look at the thread and FFM has said some very strange things. As Sangyul pointed out, they called her out and voted her outside of RVS on a bad reason. When their reasoning was countered, they jumped right off of the vote and onto Cam, who had not been on their list of reads at all until the post where they voted them out of nowhere. Their reasoning was extremely flimsy there. Sangyul's explanation of her role more or less clears my doubts, but Darros is still looking scummy for that defensive behavior early game. FFM has more reason to vote me or Darros than Cam or Sangyul. Going into some Meta, they have a weird habit of tunneling town instead of reading the people already getting heat for no apparent reason. Pascal is scummy either way I look at it, but given the meta, what's the context? If they are scum, why aren't they voting Darros despite scum reads? They are sheeping other peoples' reads on him but going after people they has mere hunches on instead. I don't think they are both scum because Darros couldn't afford to bus on his scumbuddy this early. I am reading Pascal as scum now for, as hypocritical as it sounds, the reason Sangyul has a read on me: They did a lot of noncommital prodding or reaction tests. The really telling bit is that they did not vote their strongest reads but instead put pressure on people they were not confident about. When I voted for/tested Cam, he was my strongest read because we were in RVS and he was the only who did something strange. Pascal has ample content and is still goose chasing his 'maybes' even out of RVS. I am keeping my vote for now because despite this content, this play is consistent with my limited knowledge of Pascal's town meta, while what Darros has done, from the defensive early game to voting FFM for erratic voting, all fits under scum intent rather than simple anti-town behavior like what Pascal has been doing. As for others, I would like to see some more content. Prims and Paperblade, can I please get your reads on Darros, FFM and Sangyul?
  18. Anarchy. I would take it back to its roots. What about you?
  19. Because it's 3:00 AM, I spent the last several hours coding, and was already facing questions from multiple people at once. Every time I've gone to look at an a new page or ISO since I got back, there's been another question or accusation to reply to. I figured someone else could get votals while I gather my wits. Thank you, by the way, eclipse. I'm going to go bed and come at this with fresh eyes tomorrow. Don't burn down the forest while I'm gone.
