  1. I should go back to my old avatar before I become a horrible person.
  2. But I want to for some reason.
  3. I've been wanting to bite off heads lately. What is wrong with me?
  4. lol yes. Marriage and parenting already are both gender- and sex-neutral. Your argument would only make sense if all parents conceived their own children, were heretosexual, and happened to fit their assigned gender roles perfectly. This is far from the case. Not only is there no limit to who what type of people can raise children, these extremely varied people often raise children who not their own biological children (which is half of the case with our OP). Two feminine hetero individuals can raise children. Two women who happen to be feminine can raise children. Two men who happen to be feminine can raise children. Two masculine hetero individuals can raise children. Two women who happen to be masculine can raise children. Two men who happen to be masculine can raise children. Just how sexist are you? I'm fine with having my posts deleted if that is necessary.
  5. I agree, but I have a problem with his approach. I get the vibe he wouldn't give advice to a woman in the same situation because he would think she was beyond help, being a woman. In other words, one needs manhood to stand up for themselves. If that's not the case, then they need to change their approach to reflect something less sexist. In either case, they lost a lot of credibility. As a side note, this is an unabashed ad hominem response. I don't have a problem with their advice. I have a problem with them. Might have been more polite and receptive if this were not FftF.
  6. I guess you should get along with your sexist self then, or at the least stop replying until you have more to say.
  7. I comprehended fine. Whatever advice you give, if you think the problem is that he is not fitting his assigned gender role, it loses its credibility. You should give gender-neutral advice or give none at all.
  8. Because you used the word 'manhood' to refer to assertiveness and decisiveness.
  9. Not much point in condescending you with pity, so I'll just say that you seem like a resilient individual who can overcome many hardships. You sound like you may in the middle of a midlife crisis yourself, having failed to hold up on your plans. Will you be more cautious and defensive moving forward, or will you keep on as you have been up to this point?
  10. It isn't, but you can find your overall post count by searching for yourself. Apparently I have the 1059th highest post count.
  11. I have no idea. My ambitions could take me anywhere to suit my whimsy. Where I see myself today could change tomorrow.
  12. They took it out because it caused drama no matter what they used it for. There isn't a benefit to having it visible beside posts, but I get what the OP is saying and it sounds cool.
  13. Pfhahahahahaha! Logging that away.
  14. Ava: 7 (Could be a little sharper, but what are you going to do; it's a drawing) Sig: 3
  15. There isn't a good one. In that case, they would be using the best option, but it would still be a buggy one. I often feel bad for iPod/iOthers users. Can't speak for iTunes on a Mac, though.
  16. That is true. This would have been more polite to say when you first replied. On a side note, it's also one of my biggest issues with Windows tech support. System error? Reformat. Avoid doing that next time! Another system error doing something else? Reformat. Avoid doing that next time! Every. Single. Time. The lack of good error output and actual documentation on Windows code gives everyone a headache, even official devs. It's like restarting to most of the techs I've met. I swear I know more than any technical support person I have talked to. Ugh. Don't even like thinking about it.
  17. I was originally giving a serious suggestion to Rey in light of the problem of having to reformat their entire drive again. Should have been able to do that without people mocking, but alas.
