    Whoah! That's DefinitelyNotGradivus!

Incredibly hyped that Zeke got a card - in fact, it looks like he has two!

Are these cards able to be played concurrently with prior Camus/Sirius cards?

Doesn't really synergise with Sirius, but yes Camus himself is a given heh

I didn't think of that, but that's true; it may be a hint that SS is going to be bundled in with purple. I doubt Magvel will get its own color after Valentia was lumped in with red.

Going by the current formula - it'll be Purple / Green or Red. Green's not in Series 12, but Red is. Echoes could have the R+X too, who knows.
But I do hope it's Eirika / Ephraim.

Ilyana is a popular Tellius character, which is why we're on her fourth card, while others like Brom and Makalov are sitting at zero.

Personally, I'm finding this green expansion to be the most disappointing set we've had yet. With the exception of Skrimir, Rafiel, and Nasir; every green card has been for a character already in Cipher.

They tend to expand upon what already exists vs create something new - and I'm sure that's entirely the purpose with 25 cards in set. Hopefully next time Green will get it's just desserts.

no, seriously, why is it advertised as the "Laguz edition" if 10 out of 25 are going to be Beorc? That's only 15 laguz. Like did they halfway through forgot about more Laguz to add?
Anyways. We know Ike (R), 2 Mist, Zihark (R), Ilyana, Grommel (why is he a meme?) and an obligatory Cipher exclusive. Only 4 Beorc left, cross your fingers for another card of your waifu, everyone. I personally hope Ashnard snipes one of the green SRs.

Gotta make it sound cool ya know. Sure they can say they'll add more Laguz cards but still make some normal Beorc cards. Make some excuse to why Green is back. Like how Hasha no Tsurugi is the reason why FE6 is getting cards again. Not that I personally don't mind we get more Beorcs. Grommel is probably gonna be a Tournament promo, I think they mentioned that.

Here's why Japan loves Grommel by the way. Hilarious I know.
Also, they advertised Dragon Vein as a thing and only 8 of them have the Dragon Vein skills.
And advertising Purple with the whole attack / defense emblem thing and only Eliwood / Hector / Lyn / Ninian / Florina / Matthew / Rebecca and Limstella. That's 8 of them here too. No one complained back then, no need to complain about something else now right?

I don't think it will be the case. However, original Akaneia is starting to feel somewhat badly represented compared to the other continents.

Give it some time (a lot more time after echoes has its shine for a long while). Maybe Series 13 and upwards. Meaning next year is a possibility. I do want to see characters like the my unit (Kris) and Katarina get cards for Cipher.

I'm pretty sure he means until the cards are fully revealed via Twitter. Livestream cards have never been changed AFAIK, but they don't include some information, such as rarity/number, and they're smaller images of not very good quality.

Yes, that's pretty much what I meant.

Since many of the recently revealed cards have not yet been translated (I've been continuously refreshing the green cards wiki page since Saturday), I've decided to try translating them with nothing more than google translate and my knowledge of card games. Take these with a grain of salt as they're just my best guess:

      Reveal hidden contents

    Lethe
    - Choose one Laguz ally, select a card from your retreat area with the same name as that ally and place it underneath. This counts as growing that unit.
    - Whenever this unit grows, you may move an ally Laguz
    - fighter emblem

    Nasir
    - When this unit is deployed, choose a medallion ally, select a card from your retreat area with the same name and place it under that unit. This counts as a level up.

    Mist
    - Choose a card from your retreat area other than Mist, place it in your hand.
    - If your main character has at least stack 4, your main character gains +10 power
    - miracle emblem

    Tibarn
    - If there are at least 2 other ally Laguz on the field, gain +20 power
    - flier emblem

    Naesala
    - [tap an ally Laguz] move an enemy unit
    - strategist emblem

    Grommel
    - (this one was tough to understand) During your turn, gain -30 power and 1-2 range
    - At the end of your turn, destroy this unit

    Al (3/2)
    - When this unit class changes, it gains +20 power until the end of turn
    - An attack emblem that only works for a certain supported character?

    Gant
    - During your opponent's turn, ally Tiena gets +10
    - If this unit is attacked by anything but a tome affinity unit, power +20
    - defender's emblem

    Tiena
    - Choose one card from your retreat area other than Tiena, and place it in your hand
    - Until the end of turn, this unit gains +10 power and 1 range
    - miracle emblem

    Echidna
    - When this unit is deployed, you may choose a unit with a fighter emblem from your retreat area and place it on top of your deck
    - Until the end of the turn, this unit gains 1-2 range

    Elphin
    - Choose an ally, until the end of turn this unit's power is +10
    - Choose an enemy on the back row of cost 3 or lower and move it

    Grey
    - If you have an ally female unit on the same row as this unit, this unit can not be moved by enemy skills

    Tobin
    - +10 power until the end of turn
    - You may move the attacking unit (?)

    Kliff
    - Whenever this unit defeats a unit in battle, both you and your opponent discard a card (?)
    - mage emblem

    Faye
    - If this unit was deployed in the same row as (some other unit?), gain +10 power until the end of turn
    - flier emblem

    Lukas
    - When this unit defeats the enemy main character, you may move an ally unit with 1 deployment cost
    - fighter emblem

    Silque
    - Choose one card from your retreat area other than Silque, and place it in your hand
    - miracle emblem

    Mae
    - +10 power until the end of turn
    - mage emblem

    Genny
    - Choose one card from your retreat area other than Genny, and place it in your hand
    - miracle emblem

    Boey
    - If there are more than 1 ally tome affinity units, gain +20 power

    Mycen
    - If your main character is Alm or Celica, if an enemy can attack Mycen, they can not attack your main character.
    - Until the end of turn, gain +20 power

    Alphons
    - When this unit is in battle with an axe affinity unit, gain +10 power
    - If the attacking unit is a (certain kind of?) unit, +10 power

    Shareena
    - When this unit is in battle with an sword affinity unit, gain +10 power
    - If the defending unit is a (certain kind of?) unit, +10 power

    Anna
    - If you have an ally with a symbol, during your turn gain +10 power.
    - Numerous Anna

Maybe this helps someone, hope it bothers nobody. ^^'

The skills themselves are translated on the cipher foreign facebook group, and I ain't up for doing any of them until the reveal for em is official so uh.
I'll just wait til they reveal themselves I guess.

  8. There's a real lack of draw support in this game - Which is why Tinni is probably the best go to card when it comes to it.

The game naturally just gives you cards when you take damage, which is okay as long as you don't lose right?

There's a lot of cards that provide draws but the cost for drawing is too big, the condition to activate the draw is too situational or there's just rarely any draw effects because the game actually doesn't have that much.

  9. I'm selling a few old Series 2 cards gathering dust in the corner. Hit me up with a message if you're interested. Shipping is from Australia however, so it might be a bit more expensive than usual and take a while longer than you'd think. Only looking for cash at the moment.

    • B02-001SR - Corrin (Male) (x 5)
    • B02-006SR - Ryoma (x 2)
    • B02-010SR - Takumi (x 2)
    • B02-030SR - Felicia (x 3)
    • B02-051SR - Corrin (Female) (x 1)
    • B02-056SR - Xander (x 3) and B02-056SR+ Xander (x 1)
    • B02-058SR - Camilla (x 4)
    • B02-080SR - Jakob (x 5)

  10. So what's become more occurring in the Meta? (Series 8)
To keep it short and simple, Awakening (Blue) has become a lot stronger thanks to it's new support: Cards to note are - Sacred Sovereign of Hope, Chrom and Undead King of Despair, Chrom and most of all - Grima herself.

Chrom himself has two different ways of building his deck now, focusing on the Risen army or class change consistency, where the Class Change Chrom performs a lot better overall in comparison to his zombie counterpart.

However, it is Grima herself who boosts the zombie deck to the next level - When you start off as Robin (Female) and level up into Grima, the game slowly spirals into despair. The way you want to play Grima is similar to a mage-stall deck: You focus on gaining advantage and the opponent slowly drains in advantage, leaving them in a situation where they cannot destroy all of your units and you in a situation where you gain massive advantage each turn, thanks to the constant flow of Risen being added to your hand each turn. Cards that benefit Grima are basically good healers like Clarine and Nino, who use minimal amounts of bonds (Nino uses no bonds to heal) to grab a copy of Grima back and Wicked Wings, Aversa, who grants hand advantage off the Risen (you should play Aversa in all Risen related decks).

Holy War Flag (or Yellow) has no particularly interesting Main Character builds but provides a lot more support for the older Yellow decks, and any other deck that wishes to use Yellow as a secondary colour.

Other notable cards are - Tine? (Tinni or Tini, I don't know who she is actually), for being playable in practically every deck by being draw power fodder, Julia who can grab any Yellow card from the deck for your Bond Area when she destroys an enemy, and Seliph for being an additional / situational bond flipper.

I've noticed a new Gerome (Cost 1) flier around, and thought that Gerome (Cost 4) from Series 1 may make a few new handy additions to a deck, but I suppose Gerome in the end is just another flying beatstick, which shown by other flying beatsticks such as Scarlet - don't seem to be special at all in any way. Fliers with Winged Deliverer seem to be the standard top pick for most decks for their Flier usage (and it has been like that since Series 2 I suppose).

Oh, I had this one thought out for ages.

The one who seeks true freedom: Walhart, Cost 1 Cavalier

    Blue/Male/Sword, 40 ATK/ 10 SUP/ Range 1

"In this world I'm building, its either lead or be led!"

Dauntless charge: (CONT) If you control another ally, and this card is the only unit on the front line, this unit gains 10 attack

[ATK] Attack Emblem (Supp) Until the end of this battle, your attacking unit gains 20 attack.

The Conqueror of Valm: Walhart, Cost 4/3 Conqueror

    Blue/Male/Axe, 70 ATK/ 0 SUP/ Range 1
"Behold: I am Walhart the Conqueror! And you are but a pebble upon my path to immortality."
Dominate the Weak (CONT) This unit gains 10 attack for every unit on the enemy backline.

Wolf Berk (ACT) [Flip 2] This unit gains 1-2 range until the end of this turn.

Conquest  (AUTO) If Wolf Berk was activated this turn, and this unit is on the frontline, until the end of the opponent's next turn, enemies attacking this unit cannot perform Critical Hits.

I wish Walhart actually got a card in Series 8 though. Maybe next time.

    Mistress of Wyverns, Jill
    Cost 5/3
    Dragonlord, Green/Female/Flying/Dragon, 60 ATK/30 SUP/1 Range
“I’m going to stand by what I believe. I will not be ashamed anymore."
(LvlS3) Lady of Talrega (AUTO) [Flip 1 Bond] When this unit’s attack destroys an enemy, you may search your deck for a Green card except “Jill”, show it to your opponent, and place it in your hand. Shuffle your deck afterwards.
(LvlS3) Tomahawk (ACT) [Flip 1 Bond] Until the end of this turn, this unit gains 10 attack and this unit’s range becomes 1-2.
Captain’s Encouragement (CONT) While you control an ally ‘Haar’, you do not have to pay the cost for "Lady of Talrega" and “Tomahawk".

I was gonna work on a Cost 1 variant but I got lazy. Can ya blame me :u

Hi guys, I've some questions about the different area on the field, could you help me ?

About Retreat Area and Support area, a card destroyed after a battle goes to the retreat area, and a support goes to the support area. When you end your deck, you shuffle the retreat to make your deck. What about the support area ? (And i've heard someone who's speaking about discard area ??? Discarded card goes in the retreat no ?)  Currently when I play with my friends, the support goes in the same place that the defeated unit.. afe we wrong ?

    Thanks!

edit : I've find the answer to my question.. "Both players send the support card used for this battle to the retreat area"     a youtube video make me doubt sorry

Well yeah -- But when your deck gets emptied, it takes priority over what you do next. Even when you place your next support into the support zone, it takes priority so your support will go to the NEW retreat afterwards.

  13. Also thank you all so much for creating and maintaining that wiki, without which my friends and I would be completely incapable of playing what is now basically our favorite game. If there was anything I could do to help I would love to, however I am not very tech-savvy and do not know japanese, so I'm not sure what hep I'd be able to offer. Thanks again.

Even I don't know much in terms of Japanese but I'm still handling most of the Wiki.
Not looking for too much help right now, but perhaps another day.

Set 1: Promos for Set 2.

    Set 2: The entire thing.

Set 3: "Gee Azura! How come your mom let you have TWO SRs?".

    Set 4: Free at last.

Set 5: Promos for set 6.

    Set 6: Nohrian scum.

Set 7: $40 for Birthright alone isn't worth it.

Set 8: Free again, but not for long.

I wouldn't really count promos as part of a set. :u

Bonds : so some actions flip some of your bonds over, and then they are used as colorless.

I was told that they can only be unflipped by card effects. can someone give me a few card examples of cards that unflip bonds? i have been searching but cant find any ways to unflip them.

also while im here, during the bond phase do you have to play a bond? or is it mandatory? also can you play more than one?

    https://serenesforest.net/wiki/index.php/Deirdre_(Cipher)
    https://serenesforest.net/wiki/index.php/Seliph_(Cipher)

A few good examples of how you can unflip bonds. The mechanic is exclusive to Yellow as of now though.

You do not have to play a bond down if you don't want to, although it's recommend you do for the first few turns.
You can only play one bond down per turn.

I have  Heroic Inheritor of the Blaze, Eliwood on the field. When am I allowed to legally activate his Rallying Flames effect? Do I have to activate the effect before I declare an attack?

Well you wouldn't know if the support failed or not without knowing what it is, so normally - you choose to activate it once the support is revealed.

It's definitely a R+ Felicia, not SR+. Big difference in price if it were to be an SR+, I'm sure.

Almost any Elincia card is my favourite.

Annd... Arvis SR from Series 6.
