Well, considering AB isn’t even on a team anymore, that already happened thrice over.

I wouldn’t call Petra’s voice bad per se, but definitely agree it could’ve been a lot more convincing if they gave her an accent because otherwise it just feels like she has a speech impediment rather than her having trouble as a foreigner. My favorites would have to be Michalis and Claude for vastly different reasons. Worst? I’d have to say it’s between Selkie and Caspar, though that’s most because I don’t like the way they sound at all. Performance wise, Zephiel was pretty... yikes.

I don’t think we had a scheduled Feh channel in a while. Recently they just dropped them without a moments notice. Maybe it’s to discourage streaming or whatnot?

Wasps, hornets, and centipedes can perish. Those things legit terrify me and do nothing of real value. Same with bees, but they’re quite important for our environment and I at least find bumblebees cute.

I’m only going to focus on the BE route because the others have the same goal of protecting themselves from the big bad empire and thus Azure Moon and Verdant Wind feel pretty interchangeable. Even the whole BE gang is shown they’re willing to drop Edelgard after she shows her true colors when you play Silver Snow. After judging all the reactions including moments where you can fight them on opposing sides, here’s my ranking from what I feel is most to least sensical. Pretty much works Lorenz - Granted, it’s motivated for purely political reasons and not personal ones since he’d likely reject her otherwise, but it is part of the narrative so it checks out. Lysithea - Given she’s Edelgard’s only intra-house support and that the two have very similar backstories, not to mention she’s the one character you can recruit post timeskip, this is a no-brainer. Felix - I feel he’s almost destined to join the Eagles just how he has so many battle conversations with his former teammates/friends (four total!) Given his disdain for Dmitri, his father, and the ideology of his kingdom as a whole, it’s quite plausible that he’d turn on them completely if pushed by the formers increasingly unhinged behavior. As Sid Starkiller pointed out, there was even a point where Felix might have deserted the Blue Lions on the Azure Moon route that was ultimately scrapped. Ashe - He could go either way, but I can see him growing increasingly bitter over Lonato’s death and choosing to turn against the Church of Seiros due to his distrust. Manuela/Hanneman - Basically since they’re on that BL map as enemies if not recruited. Doubtful, but... Annette - On one hand, she’s still attached to her father, who’s very devout no less. On the other hand, her territory gets annexed by pro-empire faction which the rest of her family resides, and then there’s the fact that she also was planned to maybe turn against the blue lions for the whatever reason. Still don’t think she’d ultimately join, but it’s not out of the question. Raphael - I dunno. He doesn’t have any reason to join the Empire. However, maybe if he was reassured that his sister would be protected, then he’d be willing at least. It’s worth noting that he’s one of the two students to be completely awol during the Crimson Flower route aside from Marianne. Shamir - Kind of an odd duck. She’s loyal to the Church as a merc, but she’s no follower either. If you pay her more then she’s all good for turning on them I guess. Sylvain - He has an extreme dislike for his crest so I’m sure he’d be fine trying to eliminate a system that supported them, but he’s loyal to Dmitri/Ingrid and to the Kingdom by extension. I No chance Leonie - Since Leonie’s attachment to Jeralt doesn’t extend to the player, and since she finds the empire to be responsible for Jeralt’s death given her battle conversation with Byleth, it’s hard to imagine her joining Edelgard’s cause. She also has trouble with the methods used as well, so I can’t see it. Mercedes - I have a lot of trouble imagining a deeply religious character turning against... pretty much everything they ever come to know. Ingrid - Yeah, she has absolutely no business joining the empire even with her crest being a bit of a nuisance. As a lawful good loyalist to her country, it’s borderline nonsensical for her to turn on Faerghus. Alois - This might surprise some, but I also feel Alois would not join. As he’s a knight of Seiros and loyal to Rhea by nature, I feel Byleth joining forces with Edelgard’s regime would be a deal breaker rather than an exception. Plus, as with Leonie, just because he was a Jeralt fanboy doesn’t mean that same loyalty extends to his kin. Side note: his battle conversations are kinda brutal. Ignatz - See Mercedes Marianne - She dislikes her crest, but I can’t see her going against her beliefs. Hard no.

I always found it wasted potential that the female avatar from Fates wasn’t given a name like Corrina. Anyways quite funny, I expect many memes out of the last panel.

I believe it’s actually a nickname that got started by a Youtube sports commentator/shitposter whose channel goes by UrinatingTree (yes, that’s actually the name of it). Ironically enough, he’s a Steeler’s fan himself and quite critical of them as a team.

Please do not put words in my mouth; I never said Fionn was bad. I’m well aware he’ll eventually become at least decent in a year and a half. I just rather dislike like him as a character.

I’ve never summoned Fionn, but if I do, he’ll sure be useful for getting Personal Lesson or Chaldea Lunchtime.

In regards to Rhea As for Seteth, I stand corrected. I wasn’t aware he had his own weapon so I guess it makes sense for him to be a lance flier.

I’m pretty sure that if there is a church banner that Rhea has to be on it, no exceptions. That way, it’s a more neutral portrayal instead of an antagonistic one, and I’m pretty sure there’s a fair amount of people who’d pull for Rhea (myself included). She’d probably be in place of Shamir as much as it pains me to say it, and I’d say Seteth would be better as a axe flier while Flayn could fit better as a flying staff or even a infantry lance if color balance is ignored. The GHB would probably be someone from Slytherin, whether it be Solon or Thales (leaning towards the former).

Oftentimes I do not like tsunderes. The reasons primarily due to 1) mostly simply being token characters that appeal to a specific audience 2) as others have said, they’re often poorly written, usually just there to beat up the (usually male) protagonist and constantly call them an idiot and 3) irl I usually prefer the sweet, mild mannered girls (the closest anime equivalent being deredere and dandere) as opposed to “hard-to-get” ones. Also, I often find tsunderes to cross the line of being flat out bitches/assholes. However... on the rare occasion it’s done right, I adore them. If there’s a genuine reason as to why the character acts that way, and there’s a solid arc behind it, there’s a fair chance there’ll be one of my favorite characters ever. Some examples of excellently handled tsunderes are Naofumi Iwatani from Rise of the Shield Hero and Rin Tohsaka from Fate/Stay Night. Hell, I find the “token sweet character” in the latter series to be one of my least favorites, but that’s another story.

I’m just gonna go Medea Lily because her rate ups are basically nonexistent and she deserves headpats. @Jingle Jangle Definitely go for one of the story locks. Penth is relatively common in comparison in terms of availability. Unless you completely lack an effective farming lancer, I’d lean on Gorgon especially considering how you don’t have many options for that class.

Probably because the former 1) is always a central character regardless and 2) lacks controversy that the latter has.

As a Patriot’s fan I honestly have doubts of my own. Josh Gordon is probably a wonderful example of a failed experiment (even though he got reinstated it’s hard to believe he’ll still make it through a season given his track record). Granted, Gordon and Brown are somewhat different cases as the latter is more of a character issue than a legal one. If AB can consistently restrain his ego then maybe all will go well, as one of the issues was the Raiders themselves didn’t really have any stars to speak of, so he acted like an entitled king for his duration. The Pats is a different culture entirely as there’s multiple players who are just as talented, especially in the area he is.

I highly doubt that for several reasons. 1. Archer and Gilgamesh are both popular characters, but neither of them come close to being the face of Type-Moon, much less Fate. Saber is pretty much the poster girl of both. 2. Both of them also use swords, so your point is kinda moot. Contrary to what you might think, Saber doesn’t just wield swords. There’s her Mana Burst, Air Strike, Rhongomyniad, etc. There’s actually a whole Smashboard topic about if you’re interested. 3. We haven’t had a new female rep added in Smash in a while. Not even in the DLC (yet). Saber could help break that mold. 4. Gilgamesh would singlehandedly destroy everyone. Granted, it’s pretty wishful thinking thinking any of them might get into Smash, but if there was a Fate/ character then Saber would be a lock end of story.

At least Byleth can canonically wield multiple different weapons without reclassing/promoting unlike the other lords. Sure, the primary attacks could be swords but there’s also gauntlets, axes, magic, even gambits that can be hypothetically incorporated into their moveset. Anyways, Terry is pretty out of my element so it incited a mostly indifferent reaction out of me, but I’m quite psyched there’s more DLC to come! I’m lowkey hoping for Saber to be added heh.

Why does Edelgard simply throw Rhea in a dungeon in every route other than her own when one of her TOP PRIORITIES (at least displayed in Crimson Flower) is to kill her and destroy the church? I know Rhea is needed for exposition at least in Verdant Wind and Silver Snow but wow it makes no sense for Edelgard

I managed to get Lusamine within seven rolls! Even managed to pick up two more copies of Umu and a Carmilla to boot, making both NP3. Also got a rare prism in the form of Stheno. Getting 2 SSRs in one month, the first entirely effortlessly... clearly I stole someone else’s luck but I’m not complaining, especially considering all the busts I had to endure in the past.

Here’s mine I made a couple days back. Where are the villains, you might ask? They’re not even worth putting on, they’re that awful.

I also agree that the Browns are kinda overhyped at the time being. Playoff contenders? Sure, that’s a fair prediction. But Super Bowl favorites? Quite a reach for a team that hasn’t had a winning season in over a decade, much less made by the playoffs in about twice that time. Granted, I have nothing against the Browns; on the contrary I actually feel bad for most of their fans for their team pretty much being a meme for how abysmal their history is. Last season they made a noticeable improvement, albeit still having an average at best record (7-8-1 is nothing to brag about). Just knowing the Browns though, it’s entirely possible for them to screw everything up and end up back as bottomfeeders. Remember how hyped the Jaguars were in the previous season? Look how they turned out at the end, and at least the Jags had a winning record as well as nearly making it to the playoffs themselves. I really just need to see more of this team before I can make judgement calls on them, but best case scenario I can see them having a 10-6 or 9-7 record and having a honeymoon in the playoffs. Worst case scenario we see the glorious return of the Turds we’ve known the past seasons prior.

For the first time ever, I got a SSR from a ticket, and of course it was none other than Fate’s og token loli Illya! I’m very pleased about this, as my lack of getting a SSR for a long period of time (barring the guaranteed one which gave me Shiki who I was lukewarm to) kinda soured my FGO experience as of late, albeit mildly. Plus Illya is a cinnamon roll who deserves headpats for days. Too bad I’ll likely not get to her interlude in time for the 1/2 AP. Doesn’t help that I’m kinda in a cinch in terms of QP as well. 12k is pretty oof.
