  1. Myrrh can gain exp just fine. On Chapter 18 I warp her to the right to clear that area out by herself, which gets her about ~500 exp. Add that to the kill or two you can feed her on Chp 16 and 17 and shes LV 7 going into Chp 20. If you crit-kill Morva and spend 2 turns on Chapter 20 she can be like LV 15 going in to Final. If you do a 1 turn thats fine too. I've had a LV 7-8 Myrrh kill Lyon before. She is the only character who can survive an enemy phase on Final part 1 and she only needs like 10 AS to double Lyon. Although I do play on a cartridge. If I played on an emulator, I might go for a pierce too.
  2. I came across a strange occurrence once where Chp 9 Eirika route was missing from the turn credits and it wasn't factored into my total turns either.
  3. I think Awakening is a pretty damn good game. HOWEVER it is a terrible FE game. IMO its the worst game in the series (I've only played the localized games). 2/3 of the maps can be beaten in just 1 turn with little effort. "Now that's strategy!" I haven't played the game in a few months, and I don't miss it.

  7. I don't care as long as they are designed well. I like the terrain of the outdoors, and I really enjoy the strategy that doors and chests add to a map on indoor map.

  9. iirc Formortis has 2 weapons. One targets DEF one targets RES. And he starts with the DEF targeting weapon equipped. I very well could be wrong though. I always use Myrrh to kill Morva (rig a ~17% Crit) and Lyon in Final (needs 1 of 4 hits to Crit). edit: Myrrh has 6 movement and flys. Sage!Lute doesnt have better movement.
  10. This was a perfect time to include the 2nd analog stick with all that room on the side... Oh well. Personally I prefer the clam shell design. It keeps the screens safer and makes it more portable. Oh and I enjoy being able to just shut the 3ds and go into Sleep Mode. Now I assume it will go back to "press and hold 3 buttons".

  12. If Lute has enough MAG a 1 turn of Chp 16 is possible if you have a 2nd Warper. And both uses of Hammerene go to warp. You only need to use Rescue 2 times. My warp uses always go like this: 3 Warps on Chp 16 1 Warp on Chp 17, repair it. 4 Warps on Chp 18, repair it. 1 Warp on Chp 19 2 Warps on Chp 20 1 Warp on Final part 1 1 Warp on Final part 2, it breaks. You will need to use rescue on Chp 20 and on Final part 1.

  14. There are 13 entries in the series. From FE 6 on each game has multiple difficulties, and each game's difficulty varies from game to game. If you play on nothing but the easiest difficulty the games can be mindlessly easy. On the hardest difficulties, the games range from "not hard" to "stupid this game cheats". To sum the entire series up is pretty dumb, and extremely inconsistent.
  15. Turn 6 shouldn't start until Player Phase 6, so if Dozla kills the last monster before that you should have yourself a 5 turn clear. A 1 turn clear of Chp 13 is really iffy for LTCing. If you 1 turn it Lute can only swing a staff at most, 1 time. If you go with 2 turns, She can get 4 staff swings and kill like 10+ enemies on the Enemy Phase.
  16. IS didn't "screw up" Donny. He is exactly how they wanted him. IS just didn't have LTC and efficient styles of play in mind when they made the game. Hence the ability to grind endlessly. And the fact that most maps are easily done in 1 turn. Donny is like a Magikarp. Completely useless until his evolution and then never makes any unique contributions to make the time spent training him truly worth it. The thing I think IS screwed up on was giving Donny the Fighter class as opposed to Barbarian. 3 promoted classes is so depressing no matter how much grinding you do.
  17. good job with that 2 turn strategy. drafts allow undrafted units to accompany the trainees to meatshield for them. sage can potentially save you 2 turns over mage knight for Lute's promotion. you already have 3 good mounts in Nessie, Tana, and Amelia. adding in L'arachel and possibly Neimi and that's more than enough.

  19. The Bils last Playoff game in the 99-00 season had a QB controversy in itself. Rob Johnson started the game even though Floutie was the starter for 15 games that year. Over the course of our 13 year playoff drought we have had 1 winning season (9-7, lost to Pittsburgs back-ups in the last game of the season) and 9 different starting QBs (10 since Jim Kelly retired). In only 6 of the 13 seasons did a QB play all 16 games. And injuries were not the reasons for the changes. Instead of cutting the players we hung on to them for too long. 8 of the 9 QBs were on the team for 3+ years and started at least 1 game in multiple seasons. JP Losman (1st round pick) sat for a year behind Bledsoe which didn't help at all. Trent Edwards (3rd round pick) looks like the 2nd coming of Brady in a 4-0 start to the season, he only sat and watched for a few games before starting. Concussion happens, hes never the same and they close out the season with a 3-9 record. Its been bad here.
