A pretty old term for an authoritarian ruler, although the word is typically used for a regime rather than just one person (see Hegemony).

I understand the sentiment to an extent. It's practically what I feel about any Final Fantasy game after VII, pretty much.

Last time that happened to me was when I was playing Bloodstained (a month before Three Houses was released).
