  1. There's people asking for compensation orbs for delays... 😛 due to an earthquake... 🙁
  2. If that's the case, that would explain it. It appears that the earthquake was a little while ago, but there might still be a tsunami risk?
  3. They probably would have left the notification silhouettes alone if they had decided to delay.

  5. The silhouettes are gone from notifications, so not sure why they'd remove that if they were planning on delaying the trailer.
  6. I wonder if cutscenes will still reference the base class later in the game. Automatic story promotion could get around that I guess. Of course, if there are multiple promotion options, then that's irrelevant.
  7. Wind affinity would fit Elincia well since Astra is reserved for mythics. There appears to be room for her on the banner as a sword or a flying staff (which is my preference since there is already a sword version). However, I think they will probably choose a different game since Tellius has had a couple banners recently.
  8. Oh, I'm sure they could. While I really doubt he would be implemented as a structure, I think the movable tent idea would be extremely amusing.

  11. Yeah, that would probably do it. 😀 Without Nailah or Faye, I haven't used either side of Firesweep yet. (Side note: Dorcas is +10 Dragon Flowered now. Just needs two more merges for completion.)
  12. I'm pretty sure the 200,000 score resets per round. (There's going to be a lot of disappointed people if it doesn't. 😛) Grand Conquests could definitely return. Maybe they'll give it easier per round score rewards like RS. That could lower the play time requirement and potentially make it more popular. Ranking would still be there for those that enjoy it and want to keep playing.
  13. Is your Fjorm merged? Fjorm is one of those characters I've seen accomplish incredible things, but mine seems to die too easily. Perhaps she needs more investment. I used Bow Lyn and Seasonal Bow Lyn (Louise) as the bonus and got enough lift to hold the tier for the week. (Just need a couple Yune for light season and I'll be set.)
  14. Yeah, I have no issues with a small amount of Divine Dew, an orb, etc. at the higher ranks of competitive modes. That's fine with me.
  15. Ragnell could have Guard, but I don't know if that's better or worse. (Or they could casually add the Slaying effect combined with Special Spiral. I wouldn't complain. 😀)
  16. More ladders would mean everyone has to play more AR matches, so that's not a great solution unless you happen to enjoy playing AR. Those that have trouble would replay more matches using ladders, and those that didn't really need the extra ladders would feel obligated to use them anyway for optimization. Ideally, there are better improvements. AR rewards are somewhat evenly split between tier score and ranking right now. I'd personally want more emphasis on the tier side rather than the ranking portion. I wonder if a majority of players would prefer rewards being tied to single player experiences, while maintaining competition as a just for fun option without significant rewards? I tend to think this is the case, but don't have any reliable information.
  17. I've seen mentioned that there is no avatar customization, but female Byleth's clothes look much more reasonable here. Perhaps there are some nice promoted variations.
  18. @daisy jane Looking back on it, this is not correct. You do have to reach 200,000 with your own score. However, it's multiplied by the number of axes, so 5,000 becomes 40,000 with eight axes. It's not too hard to score above 10,000 though. The extra friend damage takes out bosses, so that provides the regular timed rewards that GC used to have once per round. The staff/wand with special count increase is really nice.
  19. Reinforcements (and attacks on the boss) increase the multiplier. I think friend helper attacks occur automatically at the end and also use the multiplier. I usually just try to place tough DC units and take out most of the reinforcements on enemy phase. This allows me to get more attacks on the boss directly rather than chase down the reinforcements. The boss's special is rough. You can keep it from firing (in theory) through Guard or even that special seasonal wand, but I've not bothered with that yet. Keep the boss off of the defense tiles for more damage potential. [edit] The boss likes to swap occasionally, so the defense tile placement can be difficult.
  20. The score goal of 200,000 is still relatively easy to reach with the bonus from friend units. You don't have to actually earn that full amount with your own units. If you care about ranking though, then it will take more work.
  21. I used cavalry exclusively in GC. It wasn't that hard, but it took more time and effort than I felt the rewards were worth. I think this mode is dramatically easier and less time consuming than GC. Rank rewards will probably be similar in difficultly to GC, but I like that the score rewards are super quick and easy to get. I played horribly, but still got all the score rewards, and am top 10 in my local group (experience will vary) with five leftover axes for later. This mode doesn't seem to work as well with cavalry as GC did. This is probably on purpose. Armor and tough infantry units can do well. Unlike GC, healing is useful and skills like Aether and Guard can be really good. The three current bosses appear to rotate, so you can plan strategies for each for good effect. (I mostly just used the same team for all of them though.) If you have pair up capable units, that can help. It's nice that your units can't actually defeat the boss. This allows you to keep scoring full points even with the boss at 1 HP. If you could defeat the boss directly (without friend units), then you'd have to micromanage how many axes to use to avoid wasting them if you defeated the boss early. The only issue I've seen mentioned is that you can't use a skill like Aether to heal when the boss is down to 1 HP. It does take a little experimentation. Just redeem single axes, and when you find something that works, you can use a full eight at a time.

  23. Easier battles (with double Yune) near the end got me to Tier 24 even though Louise doesn't have a light blessing.

  25. Honestly, I think the sunglasses look great on everyone (except the Black Knight).
