Alternatively the Disgaea world since its all so wacky. If you don't have the bad fortune of being a prinny then you might live a very carefree life in the Netherworld, which is strange since its supposed to be in Hell.

Literally any Overlord would like to known your location.

    ----

My main option would be on Pokémon. Why? Because I love animals. That's it.

Sure, I would be supporting the (almost) enslavement of them, but...actually, I don't want to think about it.

    ----

If I can't have my all-fun adventure with Pokémon, then I would go to...a Fire Emblem game? I mean, you have a LOT of nobodies who can do some serious stuff against dragons, demons and gods. Sure, the 'big-shots' would completely outclass me, and the constant danger is not something good, but I'd say it's worth it. And don't forget about waifus.

Just don't get me on FE4/5/TH, please. I don't want to die.

  2. ....Ok, hear me out.

Sniper gives him a powerful Combat Art that fixes his Speed issues, fixes his DEX/SKL problems, makes his terrible P.Skill at least activate and can give him a really distinguished spot on the class (since most of the archers/snipers are units with low STR/DEF but high DEX/SPD) (and don't forget that CC is a thing!)...And he also looks pretty freaking cool.

All of this at the cost of a terrible thing....a Bow Weakness.

So yeah, I know this shouldn't be of much trouble at any Normal/Joke Run, but would it be an actual viable option for him on a 'serious' playthrough? Or would the Bow Weakness hurt him that badly?

  3. The very first thing that came to mind was pudding, and I'm keeping it. How would this benefit the world? Uhh...

Well, I didn't specify what type of pudding it is, so I just decided that this pudding is all puddings. Actually, the pudding is everything. And I can change his size or 'spawn' other ones. So you can have a normal one, zero one or even something like 'pudding of vacines'. And it's a freaking pudding, it's cute.

  4. Well, this is going to be difficult..specially with how indecisive I am. (Outside of the first one, there's no order)

    • 1. Brom (Axe-Armor) (Do it, IS. Please...)
    • 2. Marcus (Lance/Axe-Cavalier) (Do I need to explain anything here?)
    • 3. Tatiana (Staff-Infantry?)
    • 4. Kent/Sain (Hey, you know what? Dual-Hero Christmas Cavaliers. That's what I have to say.)
    • 5. Asbel (Green-Infantry)
    • 6. Bernadetta (Bow-Cavalier/Bow-Flier)
    • 7. Ferdinand (MAKE HIM INTO A HOLY KNI-)
    • 8. Ignatz (Bow-Infantry)
    • 9. Gregor (Sword/Axe-Infantry)
    • 10. Jill (Axe/Lance-Flier)
    • 11. Arthur (FE4) (Er..Mage-Infantry. Honestly, he can be whatever color he wants..)
    • 12. Geitz (Axe-Infantry)
    • 13. Farina (Lance-Flier)
    • 14. Harken (Sword/Axe-Infantry) (Goddammit, Astram...)
    • 15. Levail (Lance-Infantry)
    • 16. Midia (Lance-Cavalier)
    • 17. A 'more common' Bow-Armor. I'm voting for Roger.
    • 18. Anna (FE13) (Sword/Dagger/Staff-Infantry)
    • 19. Marianne (Either Sword-Cavalry or Blue Mage-Infantry)
    • 20. Ogier/Oujay (Sword-Infantry) (I'm not going to give up so easily.)

    Honorable mentions:

    • 1. Dozla
    • 2. Renault
    • 3. Ilyana
    • 4. Cavalier Gordin
    • 5. Seliph
  5. Ooh, now I get it. Sorry for taking so long.

sorry , my English is not good. I hope it is not hard for you to understand what I mean.

I'm very grateful for helping me

No worries. I'm also pretty bad with english, so I also hope it was not hard to understand anything I said earlier.

Now, I'm sorry but I don't think there's a way to have all three currently. Specially the STR/MAG split.

...however, there's something else I can do..without the str/mag split, I can do..something like this:

Since most randomizers don't work with the Skill Patch (alongside with the fact that there are some skills that simply break the game), I could 'manually randomize' it for you. It would take a little while, but it should feel like a randomized rom with skills.

    ..Well, what I mean is:

    1.I'll randomize a normal FE8 Rom.

2.I'll patch the Skill System into it.

3.I'll somehow 'randomize' the Skills of every class/character. (I can spin a wheel for this?)

4.This will become a patch that you will be able to simply patch to a rom yourself and play it like a normal randomized rom.

..I really hope this didn't sound confusing. But well, that is what I can do. Is it okay for you?

(Also, thanks for making the more in depth explanation! It really helped and I can see that you put quite some work into it.)

    + really ? I used - "Self-randomized" of Circleiseverywhere

                              - GBA FE Randomizer (which have florina icon)

                              - yune randomizer

+but none of them do MAG/STR split

I think Qewe's referring to the Skill System patch that I mentioned before, not the randomizer.

Also, since most of the STR/MAG split patches only makes it possible for you to use both types of damage with the same unit, a randomizer that doesn't change weapon types shouldn't be able to utilize that very well.

Unless you manually give magic options for physical (/physical for magic) classes, that is. (Beware that this doesn't mean a battling animation will play)

Ah, and I didn't link the Patch yet because I'm starting to feel like this Patch isn't really what you are searching for. If you could make a quick more in-detail explanation I would be grateful.

  7. Here comes me talking about Brazil again...:

I'm pretty sure that most of us don't know what's the diference between cute and handsome around here. Sure, we do the 'Kid Cute' thing but that doesn't count. From what I observed, the term cute is simply used to when a handsome boi does something for you or if you find him appealing. If the boi did something actually cute (but it doesn't get into the 'something to you' category), he gets a little 'So stupid..'.  (..Also, completely random story: During High School, some dude ended up missing the blast from the drinking fountain and it got directly to his nose. Some girl saw this, said 'So cute..' and walked away.)

I personally use cute to describe people that..'do something without the need to think'? Well, I don't really know how to describe it. Natural? Yeah, maybe that works. But I use the same idea for all genders, so I'm not sure if I'm qualified to participate into this.

in my case, I use some hack to make knight can use spear and staff, cleric can dance , .... or something like that.

And I would do the same to other classes, charaters. I found it is interesting

So magic strength split is matter here.

where can I download the Magic/Strength split ? I really cant find it. I search it for a very very long time

I never found it either. I know there's one at FEBuilder (and that's how I normally get it) but, if my memory is right, it doesn't really add a STR/MAG at the Stats Screen. It just changes based on what type of damage you're dealing. It was, however, necessary for Str-Mag Hybrid Classes. You could say it transforms STR/MAG into ATK.

I'll try searching it again by tomorrow morning, or simply try to link you to the FEBuilder one.

  9. ...I somehow forgot that you can simply patch the Rom without FEBuilder. Oops..

That means the Builder isn't really that necessary, but it is a really good hacking tool, so you might still want to check it out.

Well, anyway, this time I'll try to give you some better advise.

I have FE 7 magic ,strength split.

You mean I need to dow skill patch(for FE8) , FEBuilderGBA , open FE7 , then add skill to that game.

sound easy enough, but I never use FEBuilderGBA before. I think i should learn it a bit

Not really. FE7 shouldn't work with the Skill System. What you could do is..

Download FE8, download the Magic/Strength split, download the Skill System, patch everything and then you randomize it.

..Or randomize it before and then you patch it. Whatever works best.

But I must ask, what's exactly the purpose of the Mag/Str split at this situation? It doesn't seems like it will do much...

  10. Am..Well, I believe the Skill System was only made for FE8 Hacking.

I don't know if there's a patch that specific, but you could always do it yourself. It isn't hard.

If you want to do it yourself, the easiest way would be simply downloading FEBuilderGBA (credits to...7743?), going to Patch and finding the latest Skill System (credits to Circleseverywhere and his team?). Then, after patching it, you should be able to randomize it....or you might as well change anything you want manually. I don't know if it works, I'm just giving the idea.

  11. Absolutely. In fact, even on my first playthrough I did some twerks. (But I also recruited everyone, so you can say that things like 'Sniper Raphael' was just an extra)

-Holy Knight Ferdinand (probably one of the best units I ever had), Hero Sylvain, Warrior Lysithea, Swordmaster Marianne (she was really good too), Pegasus Mercedes, Wyvern Bernie (also known as 'Vengeance Nuke') and Ignatz being..possibly everything but Sniper (I was mostly hunting for skills, but Wyvern Ignatz was really fun).

  12. Well, I'm no Awakening Expert, but I might be able to figure some of them out..

Focus/Tantivy: I know for sure that Focus works with Pair-Up. I use this often to clear threats. Never tested with Tantivy, but it might be the same idea. (Edit: Sorry, I better specify that it only works when the unit using the skill is at 'front-row')

Vengaence:  To simplify, 50% of your lost health becomes damage (-2 HP=+1 Damage), no need to be from the specific enemy. The activation rate is really high too.

Solidarity: I had to search this one out, but I don't know for sure. Solidarity doesn't seems to work when the unit using it is in a support position ('back-row' of an pair-up). No idea if the 'back-row' character gets the bonus if the one using the skill is at 'front-row'.

Beastbane/Wyrmsbane: No, they won't. You must be a Taguel/Manakete for the bonus...or at least that's what the wiki says.

  13. Godness, it's already time for it?! Well, at least I can finally see it at real-time..

I can't really remember how many votes you can give (or if there's something like '3 votes for males, 3 votes for females'), so I'll just randomly assume it's 4 for each.

Males is probably the hardest one for me. Most of my favorite female characters are already in the game in some form, so Eirika and Jill will get most of the love.

As for males, I'll probably vote for the traditional Brom, my beloved Seliph and..maybe some underrated FE6 unit? One spot goes to Lyon, though.

That is a zero, not an eight,..

..I feel really dumb about that.

And thanks for letting me know. I believe that was my last question before playing, so now I'll give it a try and see if anything else strikes up (or make a new post because of the new purpose).

    Again, thanks for the help.

    1. No real plot connection I think.
    2. On gameplay, here is a screenshot of mine.:

    Tear-Ring-Saga-2020-01-10-21-37-43.png

    Does this look recognizable?

Mastery is called Weapon Level on the SF section, the same stat for determining what weapons you wield in FEs 1 & 3. 1/2 of a unit's Mag is their Res in this game. No weapon triangle exists.

TRS is fairy easy, other than a few tedious maps, far less trickery than T776. There is a lot of hidden stuff you'll miss if you go in blind, but the game should still be no more than a moderate challenge at best.

SF, since Vincent alone can edit the non-Emblem Wiki pages I think, uses all the old, pre-translation patch names in the TRS section. Hence, it is a bit confusing, particularly because the patch changed a bunch of names to make things more readily recognizable to FE fans. "Gale" becoming "Vantage" is one such change, because they share the same function.

Good lord, it has skills! That is a surprise, and a good one.

Ah, but how does AS (or weapon weight) works at this game? I mean, if you're equipping an Slim Lance (which has..4 weight?), and the unit has 28 speed, it seems weird to end up with 16 AS (unless I'm missing something or some other weapon is actually equipped).

..And if it's not bothering, there was something about Mastery/Weapon Ranks affecting promotions, right?

  16. Well, hello.

This is something I've been wanting to ask for a long time..Just what do you need to know before getting into this infamous saga?

The information I have about the two games are so scattered that they feel more like a completely mess than information.

For example, I remember someone saying something like 'The first one is pretty laggy', but that's about it.

If I would make 'specific' questions, those would probably be:

-Are the two games connected? (Story-wise)

-How much it differs from the Fire Emblem series?

..And I guess this is pretty much it. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated.

(And as always, be patient to my english. I'm still learning.)
