  1. I thought Gotoh had died in the end of one of the games; I must be be confusing him with another old dude. There's also Nagi for another potential returnee, unless she turns out to be actually Naga, then it's a moot point.

I would love it if Holsety would make an appearance.

No that was that one guy in fe7 . I don't remember his name because I loathe fe7 but yeah he died at the end not gotoh

  2. 3/10 Nice strength growth , acess to thunder magic ,and a decent magic growth . However she has the same short comings as Soren terrible durability , and a rough start . She also has awful speed that never really gets good . If anyone's over rated it's her . I guess if Soren was a hot chick in a short skirt he would be considered the greatest Mage in fire emblem history because he's clearly better then her . -1 bias she's even more annoying the Soren .

  3. 7/10 He has a great personal weapon, fantastic growths , wrath and early access to a nice support with Nolan . However, he has awful durability until well into second tier . He's never quite dodgy enough to have reliable avoid and he's defense is mediocre, and without the relief of the weapon triangle he just gets wrecked early on . Once his growths kick in he does fortunately turn into an acceptable unit . Sadly hard mode isn't forgiving to units who require babying and it will take alot of resources and time for Edward to shine . +1 bias point

  4. 8/10 . He's got nice speed and offense, it's to bad about the defense it keeps him from being an exceptional unit .if you leave him in his default class he'll be mediocre . For obvious reasons knights in most fe games don't perform well in hard mode . However he does make a decent sniper or horsemen and I've also heard he makes a great pirate .

  5. completely worthless outside of H5. His weapon rank and silver lance are completely unnecessary in H2. Abel and Cain do well enough that a silver lance isn't that helpful in early game and then Hardin comes along with the same lance rank and better growths . So even when his weapon rank and starting equipment that would have come in handy later in the game , are worthless because another character shows up who can pull off jeigans job better . He's defense isn't even good enough for meat shielding outside of early game . He's an expirence dump and unlike other jeigans he isn't even useable outside of early game because of his mediocire growths and awful bases . Overall he's practically worthless outside of the starting chapters and even then he isn't that great .

  6. 6/10 if he's so overrated then why is everyone giving him such a low score ? Seems like he's underrated if anything . He's a good Mage starts off crap but eventually turns out well , with good dodge and offense . He has staff utility after promotion . He's Ike support is also nice as others have mentioned . Overall he's a solid unit. -1 because I don't like him .

  7. Flyers are just about at the lowest point in the series in FE4. No rescue, can't use roads. Uncrossable yellow tiles usually prevent you from getting them ahead when the level geometry would otherwise allow it. No terrain bonuses either, with no dismount. Pegs in particular are even worse off and have only 8 move promoted.

About half the time there is an obvious "This is for a flyer!" mini-objective in a chapter, which doesn't actually matter for seizing and only has some minor effect on the overall game (e.g. getting the thief ring on someone in chapter 8). And sometimes the Peg will even be obsoleted for the obvios Peg mission just by playing fast, like when you can seize-vanish all the stuff in the northwest area in chapter 9, or getting the Tyrfing in 10 with Rescues and dances before Fee can do much at all.

So what's left? Besides a couple of early village rescues that no one else can realistically do, there are a few good times to put a Return staff on Fee; particularly in Epilogue. Claude!Fee in addition has amazing resistance and you can just send her anywhere to spam Restore and Libra even with Sleep staves all around, but it's a slow pairing.

    6/10

My feelings exactly 6/10 for me too.

  8. 8/10 great wall with decent bases and plenty of room to grow .He's a great unit for chapters were bottle necks can be formed like the bridge . He can also do heavy damage without killing early on giving Ike and other weaker units some much needed kills .Sadly, he does have piss poor move which can suck on a lot of chapters . I would recommend the boots on him but Ike is kinda more deserving of them . +1 bias point .

  9. The ability system (at least from what we've seen ) and the master seal like item which subtracts levels are very similar to mechanics in tier ring saga . Although there are alot of differences this game is also very much what the original creator of fire emblem kinda of wanted in a fire emblem game . At least of you go by the interviews posted on this site . So I think that's kinda part if it . The game just kinda reminds me of a cross between radiant dawn and tear ring saga .

  10. It's easy to miss; the focus isn't on her battle sprite. I only knew because I've been obsessing over this stuff enough to immediately recognize Serge.

Jezz your really into this game . Is it the similarities it has with tier ring saga that getting you so obsessed ?
