Okay, I hope it is like that. 😃I was looking forward to having the availability of supports being unlocked by progressing through the story.

Honestly, I'm shocked that there isn't a gay option among the Blue Lions. I thought there would be, because there are more guys than girls in the house. I was thinking that there would at least be four supports for fByleth and four for mByleth. I hope that there are options for same sex relationships for the people who would like them. Also, I was hoping that S supports between teachers and students would only be unlockable in the war part of the game, but the screenshot seems to show that S might be available before the time skip.

I'm really enjoying all the gameplay videos we are getting from E3. I hope that we get a demo soon, I'm not really familiar with the usual time frame for when demos get released on the switch. I like the inclusion of the green units(yay, for rescue maps) and seeing all those traps in the other story chapter. Also the beasts that take up four squares look intriguing as well. edit: And the menu looks amazing!

The trailer was has me hyped! It looks like a game that will lend itself well to replayability. I am looking forward to the treehouse talk tomorrow. I can't wait to see some gameplay footage. Hopefully, there will be a demo out soon. Edelgard's new look is very regal. I am all for her queenly wardrobe. Dimitri is rougher around the edges, and lost his signature spaghetti hair. 😥 And Claude still looks amazing. I hope that Ignace gets an Ike worthy growth spurt as well. lol!

Speculation time: Maybe the teacher didn't run away and unbeknownst to all was abducted by the Reaper Knight. I kinda like Caspar's design. His hair reminds me a bit of Robin's from Batman.

The calendar in the limited edition makes more sense now that we know there is a calendar in the game.

The information in this "leak" is all over the place and the "fake information" the leaker said they added to throw off Nintendo sounds like an excuse to try and keep credibility when contrary information is released.

Fire Emblem has never really been ground breaking with their graphics, but it is neat that they are trying something new for them. If they ever come out with another FE game on the switch I bet the graphics will improve a smidgen more.

I agree! She does not dress like a teacher or like a seasoned mercenary/ knight at all. While her outfit might be normal for the series, it is still really strange for the role of the character. I believe that the company is under the impression that a larger percent of the players are guys, and they are probably correct about that. This might be why there are a larger pool of conventionally attractive female characters to appease the larger percent. Regardless, I think it is great that there are a variety of appearances for the male characters in the game. I'm sure there are more characters yet to be introduced, but so far the female characters don't have as much body type variety and I feel that is a shame and very samey. Where are all the muscular female characters? I would like to see another Rinkah or Meg. As for the male students, some of them just have really unfortunate haircuts. Lorentz wins ugliest haircut hands down. The style does nothing to compliment his face. Lol! Dimitri has spaghetti hair(despite this I rather like his hair), Ignace's haircut is also kinda strange, and ever since somebody made a connection between the jedi padawan side braid and Claude's hair I can't erase the overlapping images in my head. And is it just me or are Ashe's eyes crooked(possibly it is his hair that makes his face so wonky)? Oh, well. edit: also I really want to see some older characters both female and male join the party. That would be awesome!

Ooh! Having text choices for supports could be an added bonus when doing replays of the game. I kinda hope that FE Three Houses will move away from the portrait supports and have more action oriented scenes instead. Like, it would be neat to see the character models actually train together instead of just seeing talking heads and reading text. I agree, with the ability to walk around the monastery and talk to characters, the art style, and the silent protagonist FE Three Houses really seems to be taking pointers from ATLUS.

From this image of Bernedetta from the Black Eagles and Sylvain from Blue Lions, I think it might be possible to recruit characters from multiple houses in one play through regardless of which house you choose first.

If Byleth is a silent protagonist then I wonder what that will mean for supports. I doubt that supports will be taken away entirely(it seems to be a popular feature), but I do think that we will see a change in how they are handled. If not I imagine supports with a silent protagonist being rather one sided if they do stick to the old way.

I really hope to see more varied character recruitment methods return. I like the challenge of recruiting enemies or NPC's wandering the map. I think it would also be neat to fulfill side-quests and get a character as a reward. Like being able to recruit other students at the monastery by completing secret missions. Also, I would like to see hidden treasure spots or shops return when your character ends their turn on the space.

I hope it has more to do with foresight than time travel. It would be neat if we could use foresight to determine where enemy reinforcements would appear on the map. If it does have to do with time travel then I expect to see children return. It would be the perfect excuse.

What an odd arrangement. The characters look great, but it seems bizarre that Claude is upside down. it really looks like they ran out of room to put him and just stuffed him in the space up top. I think it would have worked better if the two avatar characters were a bit larger like the other three and maybe pointing a sword towards the rest of the weapons.

At this point, I would be shocked if Anna was not in the game. She has a good record of appearing in the newer games. I would rather not see old characters return during the main game, but I do love the idea of the game having references to them in legends and such. However, if there is an endgame(or more likely dlc), I wouldn't mind seeing some old faces returning.

When I visit the Best Buy website the special edition is listed as "coming soon" and on amazon the special edition does not show up in the search bar. Perhaps it is not sold out but merely just not ready to be sold yet.

I will play all of them! But I will probably change my mind consistently about which house I'll play first until I actually have the game loaded and ready to go on my switch. For now, I'll go with Black Eagles.... or Golden Deer...no wait, I can't decide.

My thoughts on the trailer: I am all for the customization of the noble units! Definitely going to try making an army of Pegasus knights and mages. Still excited about the nobles being able to lead troops and I am interested in learning more about this. I am fine with the school theme, but I will be bothered if it is possible for the avatar to romance students. That rubs me the wrong way. Not a fan of favatar's clothing. It is too bulky up top compared to the rest of it. Mavatar has way better style. I am fine with the art style as well. At first I wasn't a fan of awakening and fates art style, but it grew on me. I suppose this art style will do just the same. Also, I like the idea that a unit's clothing changes when they change classes. The nobles clothing may all look a like at first, but as we customize them and change their classes they will start to look a lot more diverse. I hope we get some characters in our party that are not students. I would love if the avatar's father was like an endgame unit who joins the party. Also the lady with the red sword at the end of the trailer looked pretty cool! And I bet that each house will have four female and four male students in it. Expected the release date to be delayed a bit after the dry spell of new information. July 26 isn't too far away....
