A video I compiled together regarding the Fire Emblem franchise’s history of sales. Nothing new and revolutionary, but I figured it would be an interesting watch for some people regardless. Enjoy!

That is the same as saying 3+2 = 6 is an "unpopular" opinion. It is not unpopular, it is simply wrong.

It is time to randomize Fe8. A lot of people have been asking for this, and I must admit, I have been looking forward to it as well. Fe8 is one of those games I feel didn't get enough credit, mainly due to its good map design getting overshadowed by bland protaganists and a horribly easy difficulty (even on difficult mode). I am fixing this though by using OtakuReborn's randomizer to up the growth of all enemies by 20%, so this will be quite a challenge. Hope you guys will enjoy it!

Normal. It is a beginner's guide. The reason I used the rescue staff was on purpose. I wanted to show newer players how to properly use the staff to get out of a bind, instead of just putting it in my convoy, never to use it again. I view this guide as a tutorial, and what better way to showcase a staff, than to instantly use it. I don't know how many times I have to say this. This is a BEGINNER'S guide. These videos are not meant to show anyone how to 100% optimally clear a chapter, and I very specifically state this in the first episode. I am merely showcasing the chapter/characters, and then showing how I personally handled it. The video is meant to give the player a heads up on what to look for, as well as some tips. The reason why I am making a BEGINNER’S guide is because I don’t feel like I know enough about the game to make an advanced guide (which I could make for say, Fe6), but I felt like a beginner tutorial for Fates in video format would be popular on YouTube, especially with the Europeans soon getting their hands on the game.

I probably need to get around to LP'ing this sometime during the summer!

Hi there ladies and gentlemen. Allow me to show you my newest Fire Emblem project that I call the Fire Emblem Beginner’s Guide to Conquest. The idea of this series is to help newer players tackle the challenges of Conquest, and give them, as well as players that are more experienced some helpful advice regarding the different maps and the tricks that lay ahead. This guide is NOT meant to be a comprehensive, turn-by-turn walkthrough to show you the 100% most OPTIMAL way to play Conquest, nor is it meant to cater to Lunatic players. It is simply a handy little guide to show players what to watch out for, and give them an idea on how to tackle the various challenges this game has to offer. If you find any big “errors” in my videos, feel free to point them out, but nitpicking such as “oh my god Mangs, blah blah, you forgot to talk about tiny detail X” will be wasted on me, as I have stated numerous times that this isn’t supposed to represent the most optimal way to play Conquest. I have of course gained a lot of inspiration from ModelOmega’s newcomer's guide to Thracia 776, to the point where I have blatantly copied his format. I am not ashamed to admit that at all, as I consider myself a big fan of Mr.Omega and his work (and I have featured the hell out of his guide on my channel). Corrin (and I know he can be a girl, but just for the sake of narration, I will say he) acts and behaves like a little child. He is naïve, and this actually sort of makes sense considering he has spent a large portion of his life in isolation (why Garron has been so stupid and not taken his sweet time to turn him into an evil little bastard during his childhood years, only Grima knows). Yet despite acting like an immature little twat, with his “holier than thou” attitude and ridiculously silly worldview, he is treated like the next coming of Narga. Everyone bows down to him and praises him for doing seemingly nothing other than just being perfectly average. I cannot take Corrin seriously, because he behaves like a little gullible kid. Like me and Ghast say a lot during our Fates LP, Leon should have been the main character of Nohr.

At the end of the day, we all know why the blood pact was brought into the story. It wasn't because it was a "cool concept", but because the writers needed a reason for Micaiah to fight Ike, because they were really horny on the whole "player vs player" combat thing. The entire thing was just lazy writing, nothing more.

It seems like they have kinda trapped themselves by doing this. If a future Fire Emblem game doesn't have marriage and children, I think it will be very negatively received by the public unless they manage to nail it in every other area. What they could do is to borrow the concept of two generations from Fe4. I would very much like to see marriage and children without time space mumbo jumbo.

I don't think this new patch has enough things in it for me to create a new LP, but I might very well do an "update" video where I talk about the changes, if that is okay with you Alfred! I really like the green glow, but I hope that the skill itself will also activate a special sound to give it that "umpf" feeling. The standard "skill activate" animation used in Fe8 would work well (even better if it is green instead of white).

I'd tell you to go Nohr, but I'm afraid Kamui is just as freaking stupid there.

I would marry this LP if I could.

I absolutely love Fates. I hate the writing, but adore the gameplay (haven't played Birthright or Revelations yet though). I am just deciding to ignore the stupidity of Corrin and the blatant plot-holes, and I am able to enjoy myself greatly!
