I know that Byleth wouldn’t be alive without Sothis but I’ve always wondered what would be their personality if they weren’t a stillborn and without Sothis.Byleth had problems expressing themselves in canon so think of this as an AU. What personality would you give him or her btw.I’m curious since I’ve seen one of my friends make FByleth a Kaine from nier XD

I’d go this Mymidon < Thief < Assassin < Swordmaster and on crimson flower. The bs between the Agarthan and Nabatean has gone long enough.especially with the the necromancy on BOTH sides. The Agarthan by grave digging corpses to make weapons and Rhea/Seiros for going necromancy on at least 13 people which considering human have a base lifespan of 100 she been doing this for 1300 years so ITS TIME TO STOP

So True you can be attached to a game and give good criticism. But an outsider will always see a problem that some folk will see as the norm since they have no exposure to that era. Criticism SHOULD ALWAYS BE ALLOWED as long as it is constructive and helpful sometimes all a classic need is a modern touch while polishing the classic itself to make it masterpiece.

Exactly plus they should just go CYOA with FE. I mean customize my appearance and then I just choose my path. That way if you wanna be evil you could just destroy the good guys since you know what they’re gonna do if you played the hero on your last save. Imagine just having a Byleth able to rip their crestone and destroy both the church and Agarthan. Just saying making new games plus like a CYOA would help tremendously since most FE would get an Empires variant

I agree with other settings then European Knight for FE. Birthright would be my fav in cultural settings if Japan didn’t stroke their dick so hard on that one. It’s like they forgot that other cultures are fun for strategy game other Japanese or European fighting mechanic. They also really need to step out of their comfort zone. Byleth being a Vessal for Sothis aka god is fine but they really need to change their settings cause that trope combined with avatar is getting old and his everywhere today in fiction. Yeah but I fought wolf beast that had 3 including their 2 extra bars. Around chapter 10 of Golden Dear. Hell even desert worms have this problem. My problem is basic ennemies having this mechanic. I agree about the demonic beasts that are just the equivalent of bandits. If they were a boss like when Micklan turned into one I would be fine. The problem is the basic ones that have 3 health bars before their true one. I mean it would be fine if their hp didn’t increased by every bar lost. Hell gambits are Introduced by Sothis as THE BEST WAY TO KILL THEM. You know these thing are needless when divine weapons are also a weakness to exploit to facilitate this.

While on the internet recently I discovered a couple or articles where Edelgard and Claude were in their respective last class the Emperor and Barbarossa.But the cutscenes are pre rendered so they Shouldn’t look this way. Some say it’s Beta Footage but I think it might be a Persona 5 Royal treatment. In interviews they admitted having added CF route last in response to the player base relating to Edelgard’s and her motivation. The DLC wave 3 added Cats and Dogs alongside the Sauna which they wanted to be a Main Game thing. Now I know a lot of folks are not gonna buy it twice if the improvements are DLC add one but I think they will do the following. 1: They would add a student Avatar for replay ability.Most folks already did all 4 Routes plus DLC 4 so they would need a Big incentive to rebuy the game again. 2: a Better CF ending. Where instead of being shown text if the TWSITD being dealt with a couple of maps on them. 3 : a New routes : the first being the Golden Route but it would have some pre requisite To go into It . # 1 The game Would have to on Classic difficulty. # 2 if not on Classic the game would toss clues on how to get said route in all 3 Lords Dialogue. The route would about Fodlan Freedom and all three lords discovering the Agarthan and Nabathean folks war and the truth about the Hero relic and the 10 Elite and the Seiros Nemesis war. Mist Lord would team up to destroy Both the remains of TWSITD and Sothis children thus exposing the truth about Duscur to Dimitri that Edelgard never was the Problem. It would about the truth. Those are my thoughts on it. What are yours?

It is weird considering it should be the reverse nowadays. More same gender couples in the west than the east. I’m more curious how the story would change if they didn’t announced it as early how much it would have been improved.

I thinks it’s cause FCorrin was the canon one but also because Sothis is a girl and it’s like if Rhea/Seiros picked a boy to carry her mom and if MByleth would be taken over by Sothis it would become weirde.

I Feel they would be chose later on. They would take more then 6 chapter prologue To chose the path. Here an exemple : the Avatar is Corrin childhood friend in hoshido and is a ninja. Even after their kidnapping the Avatar would sneak into norh To see them therefore birthright would be easier since the hoshidan avatar knew them longer therefore corrin would sit on the hoshidan throne easier thus unlocking their memories way easier thus corrin breaking ties with norh entirely denouncing them way earlier

Im saying the avatar SHOULD BE SOMEONE LIKE SILAS. Silas and Corrin are still around but having a background for that second childhood friend would help Corrin a lot

Personally an I would like to have Fates remakes on switch. The game story was too focused on being Corrin centric otherwise the world dies. Hell the avatar could be a childhood friend that isn’t Silas.That remake could expand on world building and why are dragon gates or veins such a rare thing. Also by not having the story relied too much on Corrin as the plot. BlazingKnight on YouTube has a video fixing Fates Story. Hell if Anankos want to capture Corrin for its army they could go DBZ where Manakete hybrids are like Saiyan hybrid like Or in Corrin case a battlefield changer which is why Anankos wants to control them. To prevent his downfall.

The thing is I would remove them entirely since the devs can’t do it properly and it’s lose its value to replay extremely fast. What I would do is make is the student have special interaction like open level and talk to themselves and do activities beyond fetch quest. Like they have their schedule a la stardew valley. The cats and dog dlc I’d remove it completely and replace with a student character creation system a la Dynasty Warriors 8 empires as a free officer. That way the season pass is worth its full price now. It would make replay value also since we would choose Byleth a predifined path. You pick you save in a new game plus and if that save is crimson flower you go through that as the student you created. That way Byleth is now fully voiced and act on their giving them other character to bounce off from.

Still true enough this is why I said that they have too much of a background to be an Avatar. Hell to see if the developers really planned them to be an avatar or their own Character. I replay Awakening to the end along with Fates all 3 path and Crimson Flower as the Character themselves. Aka Robin Corrin and Byleth with no name change and made Byleth birthday the canon one of September 20 or Horsebow moon 20th. The story FLOWS way better this way so yeah they shoehorned that last minute in all 3 games

Exactly it’s even on every outfit they promote too and Grandmaster has 2 on it. Even if you tried to say it doesn’t glow. It still way too unnatural to be excused as a birthmark

Exactly by ties to Grima it’s still a massive background and therefore are predefined.They GAVE A SHITTIER AVATAR ON A MORE POWERFUL HARDWARE THAN THE 3DS. The 3ds was also harder to develop on. Awakening and Fates had Androgynous cutscenes to help but didn’t on a better hardware. I think they announced it WAY TOO EARLY and the Hype got too uncontrollable and the devs said finally said : Story and Character and everything dones. Employees: Boss we still need an Avatar or sales will tanks. : KUSO! Make Byleth the avatar without choices they WILL UNDERSTAND otherwise WERE FUCKED.
