Of course they'd drop an Archanean banner with characters I actually want when I need to save up for AHR.
I might skip anyway just because I can't afford this. Also, what is it with Archanea shafting all their staff units?

An experience.
Like I already stated, my free pull on the spring banner was a Spring Sylvain even though all I wanted was Spring Mirabilis. I did end up getting her on pull 10, but ran out of orbs and couldn't pull the one red orb on her circle so guess I'm not getting Chloe. (It's fine, I don't really care for either of the ladies and would've only wanted them for Harmonic scoring purposes.)
On the revival banner, got a random Sanaki to add to my passive merge project of her. And on the legendary banner I was aiming for primarily Alear but got my secondary option, Gotoh. I'm actually cool with this because Gotoh's colorsharing options when he comes back are not great for me.
Now, if only any of these characters wanted to get good natures ... Sylvain and Gotoh are both -atk and Mirabilis is +spd -def.

Clearly FEH didn't know enough lore to realize that Sylvain isn't Inigo or Virion.
Either that or FEH is a weird combination of lazy and disregardful of other games to change existing characters' personalities to things they were not. Looking at the utter failure that was their attempt to characterize Wil. And being afraid of portraying Shinon as the racist ass he is and making him some jerk with a heart of gold when he's a lot more of a dick than Heroes thinks he is.

Both would've been new and I wouldn't have complained getting either as the freebie, but I did prefer Peony slightly more. Still, I'd been expecting an Alear win so I wouldn't be disappointed when Peony lost that now I'm just kinda confused.

The term "colorless hell" exists in this game's fandom for a reason.
Colorless hell isn't gonna get fixed unless IS wanna make a separate pool of at the very least all the book 1+2 demotes and kick them out of the main one. Hint hint IS.

What exactly is their color distribution regarding these characters? They've doubled up on red, green, and blue units on recent seasonal banners but the missing color seems to always be colorless. Any reason they're making the colorless seasonal pool so light?

IS could easily do the same thing with the top eight of A Hero Rises, but they apparently find it funny to instead let Voting Gauntlets determine what we get.
Wow, I totally forgot the AHR Engage Cup thing existed.
But I suppose that's just more reason why they should put all of the chosen eight on a banner.

The only time VG wins matter is during AHR's first round anyway, so I don't think it's a case of "we need to fix VG" and more "maybe we should find another way of deciding AHR's banner. Or give us two banners".

Considering they dropped Emblem Marth like three (???) months after they introduced Attuned units, I'm really hoping we don't see another new unit type for at least 15 months.

I think a good chunk of it is also just eternal bad VG luck. VG is pretty random (unless one team is so large their opponents can't catch up even with permanent multiplier) and it's hard to strategize with other people on your team. And apparently Edelgard is the biggest example of "gets fucked by VG randomness all the time".
Like, considering Edelgard's luck with VG, it's entirely possible that we could've had Fallen Edelgard and an actually good Edelgard going against each other in round 1, guaranteeing that one would move on, and somehow Fallen Edelgard would win.

Someone choose which of Peony or Dimitri I should go with next. I didn't expect Dimitri to win, so I thought I was joining Peony, but I'm like okay with both.
I'll join the team of whoever the first person to post after me suggests.

I am somewhat salty right now because I really wanted Sanaki, the only one of the eight whom I really like as a character. (I'm also slightly salty because all the focus units being green isn't too good for me when I want to avoid skipping orbs and green orbs don't like to appear, so I was hoping to have at least one backup color present.) But I did prefer Peony and Dimitri and didn't care which of Claude or Camilla won, so I guess it's not all too bad. And Alear is fine herself. Also, a few years ago I supported Bride Micaiah in an AHR gauntlet and she lost first round too. And Sanaki is stapled to Micaiah. HMMMMM.
Speaking of which, the fuck is up with Edelgard and AHR? I'm actually starting to believe the only way she'll win one of these is if she somehow gets five versions of herself voted in.

These new weapons just have WAAAAAAAAY too much crap to them. Not only is it hard to comprehend, but I'm just facepalming at the thought of having to fight any of these guys. Ever. Which I certainly will have to.

Theoretically I'm okay with anyone, because they'll all be new to me. But I want Sanaki the most. That said, Alear is cool too if she wins, so I don't really have too much complaints.

Is it just me or does Resplendent Severa's outfit look almost identical to her base form? Like, especially so? If you missed the black feathers at her side you could be excused for thinking this is just her default outfit.

Now Seiros is the oldest legendary/mythic unit I don't have. Shame I won't have enough orbs to commit to her remix next month ;/
The Triandra remix banner was really nice to me though. It gave me Ullr and Brave f!Corrin, both of whom I didn't have before, and I'm pretty sure my free pull was Sword Reinhardt whom I'm merging up. (At least I'm pretty sure he was the free pull on this banner.)

Unsure whether Celine and Diamant were robbed, or if it's totally lame that 4/6 currently released Engage royals are locked out of the main pool. I guess both work.
EDIT: Also IS apparently used their one braincell for once and didn't put Goldmary on this banner when we already had two princesses on it.

My Sacred Stones and Blazing Sword rosters were not as impressive as I thought.
But it didn't end up mattering, because Gilliam with mystic boost seal and Attuned Nino were the key to beating their respective maps.

I pulled like THREE Summer Leos from the tickets. What the actual fuck.
I was primarily aiming for red because I wanted to get one of Duo Sigurd or Harmonic Dorothea, and there were some other units I was missing there as well. And yet, I somehow pulled all four year 1 red units (including Leo THREE TIMES) and a couple of other dupes. Seriously, what??? I was pretty pissed off after we got the 7 log-in tickets.
And to be fair, I did get some new units. But I couldn't help but notice that I disproportionately pulled a lot of year 1 and year 2 units. Even some of the newer units I was happy about (like Spring Lucina, Winter Chrom, NY!Hrid, and Harvest Myrrh) were all really old units that are really difficult to build nowadays. For a while, the best thing I got was Summer Lyn. Until my second-to-last ticket gave me Plegian Tharja, which was quite a trip. From literally the first seasonal banner (Spring Lucina) to the most recent eligible seasonal banner.
Then, just to annoy me even further, my Lucina and Tharja were +HP -atk and +HP -spd.
