I guess I get Karel, then. Unit Summaries: Lyn - Not just for early game, heck yeah. She will buff up and go on to rape face, presuming she gets enough strength Erk - Also known as the mage tank. Based on previous runs, he will be a huge star on my team. Lucius - Haven't used you in a while, mostly because you're so fragile. Once you survive the early game, you should become my star healer along with erk. Nils/Ninian- And there shall be great joy, dancing and playing. Rath - Another one I've not spent much time with, but you ought to rock as my main archer (ignoring the mages). Hector - Axe-guy extroardinaire! Just please get enough skill to reliably hit. On the other hand, you're a tank, so you should be fine . Lowen - I honestly did not expect you to last long enough for me to snag in the draft. Paladins are OP, enough said. Marcus - Supporting character, you will train Lowen, Hector, and the rest before you finally have to take a breather after Chap 16. Guy - Sacaen #3, and the best crits I've ever seen. Just need to hope for sufficient Str.... Karel - Sacaen #4. hmm..... you will perform many crits and like it, seeing as you are the Saint of Swords.... Athos - Always reliable, always not til the end, we have Athos, wunder-mage! Team Summary: hmmm... so my team seems to be mostly sacaens and mages (glass cannons)! Luckily Marcus, Hector, and Lowen can tank for the rest until they can learn to dodge, by which point the team'll be awesome! This run should be really fun.

For Simplicity's sake, don't. And while the previous drafts had Lyn completely free, that kinda messes up the drafting bit unless you add Wallace/Geitz to it . Let's go with Lyn only being free for her mode (she's still draftable).

After a bit of research of HNM+LHM drafts... the main difference appears to let undrafted thieves open doors/chests for free, but combat still incurs a penalty (so you can make progress in Chapter 6, if you didn't draft Matthew [yes there are technically enough door keys, but the rule is reasonable enough]). The other difference (probably originally personal/group choice made by Creeper's draft) appears tobe that Marcus isn't banned until after Dragon's Gate, instead of after Chapter 16. ...and that's it! Hope this helps start the draft more quickly! EDIT: Also, I'm really irritated that Second Pronoun claimed that LHM+HNM 3 was the 3rd LHM+HNM draft. Either the second one's not in the archives, or he was referring to the only LHM+HHM draft, Cam's draft w/ optional Lyn mode, or a gimmick draft I missed.

I feel like I ought to get a feel for the timeline of a draft before I start my own, so I don't majorly screw up my first time through. Btw, your logs are extremely enjoyable to read through. Also, the explanation for this topic.

After reading through about ten different drafts, I feel confident enough to give one a shot. Unfortunately, no new drafts are waiting for people and I'd hate to have to start my own first draft. Anyone willing to start one? I'd be able to join for FE 7,8, and/or 11. Hopefully 12 once Heroes of Shadow finishes translating (although I'd rather not have to wait that long...). I would also try Knickerbocker FE1-6...
