Clanne's performance in battle has been actually pretty nice for me, and bad levels are only 50/50 of the time. I do hope that his growth won't affect his future performance (haven't looked them up though, since this is a blind LP), as I really want to keep using the twins

All DLC Emblems have been revealed.
Keikyushi replied to DefyingFates's topic in Fire Emblem: Engage
They can use Dagger too! Is it available to the player? If so, what's the requirement? Also, why does the enemy need tonics anyways? -

Is she though? Her engage attack range is stupidly large, and her dragon vein seems strong as well. Bolt Axe is always welcomed in my army I don't think I've ever seen that class. What's with the maid outfit though? -

Other than no Eliwood and Azura, I'm happy about the new Emblems. Can't wait to see how their skills reference their own games. Still baffled and lowkey pissed about EN changing Camilla from "Emblem of Conquest" to "Revelation" though -
Eliwood's fans found dead at Dragon's Gate I love Camilla, but Azura got shafted so hard. She is the face of Revelation after all (also fun fact, Camilla's JP title is just Emblem of Conquest, though for some reasons they decided to localized it as Emblem of Revelation) Other than those, I'm happy that we still have more Engage content to look forward to

Ahaha, in retrospect, that was entirely my mistake. Louis and Chloe would have been fine even without Celine's help, I just wanted to use Warp Ragnarok before the engagement duration ran out, and paid the price. Lesson learned.

Excluding skills, I'm pretty sure the maths involved are unchanged. So: 1) Final Hit = Hit - Avoid. If you want to get 0% avoidance, you just just need more Avoid than the enemy's Hit 2) Penalty to speed = Weight - Build. So yes, if you have 9 build but use a 10 weight weapon, you will get an effective -1 to speed, which affects your double ability and avoidance 3) For physical weapons: Str + weapon might. For magical weapon: Mag + weapon might. For Art: (Str + Mag)/2 (round down) + weapon might 4) Def and Res work the same as ever. I don't have an answer for staff avoidance though. Again, that's just the basic calculation without skills. For skills, I think you just need to add the percentage as described, all fractions rounded down

I haven't been too far into the game (just finished chapter 4), but from what I've seen, Alear's a bit on the bland side. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but objectively speaking, that's how they are. At least there's nothing too offensive about them, unlike magically-not-kill-your-enemies Corrin. However, Alear has their moments, and that's where they really shine to me, like when All in all, they're definitely up there as one of my most favorite Avatars

Hi there, welcome to the forest! I first bonded with my current best friend through Fates too, though he was the one who introduced me to the series, not the other way around. Anyways, I hope you'll enjoy your stay!

Hello everyone, and welcome to my first ever LP! I once heard someone saying that you can only blind ironman a game once, so I thought, why not try it with the latest game, Engage? This is actually my first time playing an Ironman too, so things might get really interesting... Anyways, I'm gonna play a soft ironman, which means Classic mode, no turnwheel, and no reset when a unit dies, except when said unit is the main character, then I will play the map again, just the way Kaga intended! You just have to trust me when I say I won't try to sabotage a level to save my favorite unit, okay? 🙂 So, without further ado, let's get started, shall we? Part 1: A Familiar Awakening

Looks like we were both wrong @Azz. Emblem Marth for the last day it is.
-
I don't know, she has already drawn Alears before. My guess for the last day is Sombron, since he's like the last major character without an art. Or if she wants to go full meme, then Sommie

Predict which characters will get plot armor
Keikyushi replied to Keikyushi's topic in Fire Emblem: Engage
This is a good point. I think that people who do get plot armor will appear in the Somniel to interact with regardless of gameplay status. However, once they retreat, they cannot participate in activities that increase bond or stat like eating anymore. Non-plot armor will obviously just... disappear once they die. I have a theory that Seadall can die, and his fortune teller shop is inaccessible once it happens. Gone, never to be used again -
Thanks for the answer everyone. One last thing, can you tell me which characters are affected by the localization change?
-
I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I have read comments on Twitter about some localization controversy. Is there really any such thing?
-
I think it's because her tweets were dropped at an awkward time: the forum was down, and we are only days away from Engage release, so everyone just... kinda forget about them Anyways, I'm interested in how does Yunaka get to 26 crit, when the weapon screen only says 18. If I remember correctly, Train To Kill only activates on defensive tile, right? That makes it a little less useful than I thought. I hope we can grant another revival stone when the last one is used up though
