  1. Sorry for the late summary today. There's much information, and school has started again for me, but anyways, here we are: - Ike - Emblem of Radiance: Engage weapon: Hammer (Ike's Hammer is a heavy weapon that can trigger Smash, but forces user to attack last. Normal Hammer is not a heavy weapon btw) Sync Skill: "Resolve" - increase Def and Res by 5 when HP falls below 75% Engage skill: "Anchor", reduce avoid to 0 but receive half damage. Reduce 10% more (for a total of 60% damage reduced) for Dragon units. Engage Attack: "Triumph(?) Aether" - increase Def by 5 (10 for Armored?), Res by 5 and user cannot counter attack that turn. At the start of next turn, release AoE attack to every enemies within 2 tiles and heal proportionally to damage dealt (heal 30% damage dealt, cap at 10 per attack?). Seems to be locked to Sword and Axe (at least not Lance) - When initiating attack using a heavy weapon (like Blades, Greatlance,...), user is forced to attack last, but it will trigger Smash, which pushes foe back 1 tile. If they hit a wall or another unit (i.e the tile they are supposed to go to is occupied), they will be Broken. Heavy weapons cannot double. - Some other stuff tipperthescales found on Engage website: Canter enables movement of 2 spaces after taking an action (so different from Super Canto. More like Canto (2) from FEH) Sigurd's other Sync Skill: "Momentum" - adds 1Atk for each square moved before an attack, capped at +10. This doesn't seem to apply for any attack beyond the first (for example, Chloe's first attack here (21) is affected by Momentum, while her second (15) is not) Unyielding (Marth's 3rd Sync Skill): at base level, if at the start of Player Phase you're at less than 20% HP, you recover 20% of max HP The Crystal rewards from winning Somniel's trial map are used to strengthen Engage Weapons. Each weapon can be upgraded 16 times. Upgrade Might to lv 2 increases it by 4, while upgrade Hit, Avo, Crit or Crit Avo to lv 2 increases them by 5
  2. I'm pretty sure Anna is the villager archetype this time, since she's a child, and she has pretty low level in her showcase: lv 1 while everyone else is 6-7 iirc
  3. Now the only other thing I need is a class outfit preview, since outfit is also an important thing to decide which class for units too lol
  4. Speaking of Anna, she interestingly has bow as her special aptitude (blue weapon), not axe, so looks like some characters may have canon promoted classes
  5. Oh yeah that's true, I completely forgot about that. Heavy weapons make you attack dead last.
  6. Seems like Ike's Engage Attack only uses axe and sword, since Louis and Timerra auto change to Hammer when equipped with lance. And I wonder if Smashing enemies prevent them from attacking the second time (if possible) too, since, you know, they are pushed away. That would make great weapons psudo-Wary Fighter (on player phase) too
  7. That kinda explains the Canter name change. And I like this more since it won't be easy to exploit the huge movement buff from Sigurd
  8. Well they say "over 30", not a good sign for 40+ wanter like me, but there's still hope for some more surprises
  9. Marth and Roy seem both good at defense and offense to me. Marth has Break Defense and Lodestar Rush, while Roy has AoE Engage Attack (and of course stat boost)
  10. Ok, so I doubt that the stat drop in Vander's class change video is due to Berserker base stat alone. The total stat difference between Paladin!Vander and Axe Fighter!Vander is 16 (77 - 61). However, the total stat difference between Monk!Framme and Master Monk!Framme is only 7 (86 - 79). I believe in the theory that second seal adjusts Vander's stat back to lv 1 too, maybe to discourage class jumping shenanigans. ...Actually, now I look at it, stat difference between base and promoted class (at least in Framme case) seems miniscule compared to past games. The only other game with such small stat difference when changing between class tiers is 3 Houses (Gaiden/SoV are weird in their own way, so they don't count)
  11. I'm not really a fan of reclassing, so I will keep everyone as is. Maybe just promote Lapis into Swordmaster if Paladin is considered her "canon" promotion. Oh, and turn every Mages into Mage Knights too
  12. Well there's a cutscene with Alfred, Alear and the 2 Brodian Prince at an Elusian church, so maybe Brodia after Firene is fixed. After that is anyone's guess though
  13. - Lucina - Emblem of Awakening Engage weapon: Noble Rapier Sync skill: "Dual Attack" - Allows user to participate in Chain Attack, regardless of battle style "Dual Assist" - If an ally attacks an enemy in user's range (move range + attack range) and user has "Backup" style or has "Dual Attack" skill, they have 35% of making a Chain Attack Engage skill: "Bond Shield" - by using the "Bond Shield" command, all adjacent allies have 80% chance of not receiving any damage from one attack. "Qi Adept" battle style increase the chance to 100% Engage attack: "All For One", all allies within 2 tiles Chain Attack with the user - Weapons can be forged using gold and other materials. Upgrading to another weapon (for example, Iron Sword -> Steel Sword) seems to be possible too Iron Sword +1: +2 Might Iron Sword +2: +5 Hit - Emblems can be used to modify stats of a weapon. Each Emblem can be used for 1 weapon only at a time Lyn: -3 Might, -2 Weight, +40 Hit, +20 Crit Lucina: -1 Might, -1 Weight, +30 Hit, +30 Avoid
  14. I don't know about Sigurd crest making weapons give 1 more move. Weapon only have Might, Weight, Hit, Avoid, Crit, Crit Avoid, and looks like emblems can only influence those stats And looks like Chain Attack damage is not influenced by participants' individual strength. I wonder what determines it.
  15. Remember that axe only become a mainstay on wyverns since Radiant Dawn, and Armor gets associated with axe only in 3H. Great Knight is more of a all weapons variety. While Soldier appear in, well, nearly every games, they are almost never playable. They are neither a core (playable) class nor being cut from most games
  16. Well, I guess because there's Cavalier, Knight, Pegasus Knight... already, so they don't want to bother with another lance class? (not that I agree with them, just stating a fact) Axe really is the most underrepresented weapon type here, with only often enemy-only Bandit and Fighter.
  17. I think that even lance will have a promoted infantry class, it's just Louis in that picture doesn't have access to it yet. Vander not having access to Warrior is maybe because of him not having proficiency in its secondary weapon (Bow maybe, I guess there could be a brawling Warrior too) Flying classes though... I have no idea. There's a possibility that Flying classes doesn't have access to infantry/armor/calvary classes and vice versa, since mono-weapon flying classes are too similar to Paladin already. On that note, how do Bow, Tome, Dagger and Body Art classes work is also up in the air
  18. Yes, that's actually my conclusion too. Louis could be not promoted yet, so he only has access to his natural promotion (General). There's still hope for lance infantry class! Have hope! I actually think there should not be much more than what we're used too. Aside from the basic class weapon separation (Lance/Sword/Axe Knight etc.), other classes are basically the same, with only weapon variance
  19. You mean the brown background? Then no. But it might be revealed along with Ike. The purple background is Swap, as seen in JP DLC trailer Oh, good catch! That could mean Framme will boost Body Art rank for a class, since her Body Art icon is blue, while her staff is white. But looks like Master Monk already has S rank body art natutally. Maybe she can have boosted body art rank in High Priest, for example.
  20. Yes, finally! Something I've been waiting for this whole time! Of note, there are some classes with blue weapon ranks. I'm trying to think of a reason why. Looks like class skills are learned at level 5 promoted class as I predicted. Master Monk's skill is "Qi Spreading" - When using a staff to heal, adjacent allies heal for 50% of the amount too Berserker's skill is "Smash+" - Push enemy 2 tiles back when trigger Smash Paladin's skill is Pivot. Now why does Paladin need Pivot is a mystery. Or maybe it does not work like in Heroes. And there are 2 versions of Hero - Sword+Axe and Sword+Lance! Rejoice! But there seems to be no infantry promoted lance class though, sad! This actually makes me think, what if the promotion gives another weapon? Like when a Sword Fighter wants to promote to Hero, do they need to get Axe or Lance aptitude first? And we have seen no flying classes so far. Does that mean all flying classes have at least 2 weapons? Or are they locked behind another requirement? And why does Louis not have (Lance) Paladin in his pool? Ugh, this is bringing up more questions than it answers!
  21. I'm in both side: That bread does look fake as f**k, but I have no standard and will eat up that s**t I guess I'm just glad facial hair old man is back on the menu
  22. Well this happened Observations: - Liberation can be forged, so forging is different from Fates apparently - Calvary Mage is back - I'm curious about the lone ally at the bottom right of that hallway map. And looks like the lower half is clear of fog?
  23. Actually ever since I saw Firenese and Solmese soldiers as potential enemies, I have been thinking "Why are they fighting their own countrymen? Did something happen? What happened?" A band of royals going rouge and now have to fight their own soldiers sound fun as hell, yeah.
  24. Every units have sprite on the battle map, allies and enemies alike
