Those are rather different situations. Mist is only Ike's sister, Sothe is Micaiah's protector, and he was also forced for the entire game until this point. I'm pretty sure his clinging to Micaiah is one of the reasons people hate him so much, so if it's that extreme it would make sense that he's forced to Endgame with her. I've never understood why people hate him so much, character wise. He's one of the DB members that is actually bearable, since he's not all like "Genocide for my country? Okay, yeah, that sounds okay."

The battle is prescripted, Seth's bases and equips should have absolutely no effect on it. I should know, as I have changed them numerous times.

Does he actually have the str to 2HKO with a killer axe (making Adept more than just an extra chance at Disarm/Cancel/Crit)? I didn't know that was possible for him. It really depends... Most of the weaker enemies, yeah, but some of the stronger ones, nope.

3-3 is a bitchslut, trying it again soon. Brom actually works out okay when you have Disarm, Cancel, Adept and a Killer Axe. Hand Axe and Short Axe are cool too. He rarely gets countered. :P Not that the counters do much... Also, Ike is awesome.
