First of all, they have, IN LABS actually recreated a situation in which simple proteins could be created. So yeah, life can start itself. Big Bang: We've actually been experimenting with things. We CAN turn matter into energy, and vice versa, it's just really hard. Big Bang has a lot of evidence. So, we can't understand God, because God is above us, he doesn't function under our laws, etc. Basically, he doesn't function in reality, thus he is unreal. Which means he doesn't exist. Trust me, saying that God exists without any sort of Science or logic on him is REALLY retarded. Besides, tell me seriously how it is at all possible for him to create an unstoppable force and an immovable object. Just do it.

Tino is right. Almost all the bad behaviors in FFtF I have observed at least once in a different section, usually with absolutely no retaliation.

No, this is where it seems to break down. Spam might not contribute much, but it'll give me a laugh or two, might make me think a little. Most of the stuff I think shouldn't be there is NOTHING like that. It looks remarkably like ZERO though went into most of it. That type of post is basically saying you don't care enough to post something semi comprehendable or contributional. By posting like that you're basically saying that everybody else isn't worth your time, and you really don't care enough about anything to actually take the time to think about your post. I think about every post I make, spam or not. Maybe it's only to think of the funniest way I can integrate a variation on "I stuck my dick in an electrical socket", but it's actual thought. Tell me one good reason why someone should post simply to acknowledge the existence of the thread. If everybody did, we'd have over 600 posts in every thread.

... I didn't say they shouldn't spam. As has been said many times, there's a difference between regular, fun, funny spam, and posts like "lol", or "". That contributes NOTHING at all. It only serves to waste people's time and bandwidth. I like spam, and I often do spammy things, but Spam shouldn't equal complete wastes of time and energy.

As I said, I like Aragorn, those topics are fun. I understand why people like Spam, and how it is fun. Sometimes though, it gets to be too much, like in the aforementioned cases (posting basically nothing, then quoting your own post without saying anything, etc)...

FFtF might be spam, but if it's just a bunch of one word posts than there is no reason for it to be a topic. Topics about how Moulder fights for his friends, or about random Lord of the Rings quotes, or about how much you love the new smilie are all well and good, but when people start doing nothing but posting "XD", "ok", "lol", "penis", etc, it becomes a problem. If I want to do that I use a chat, because you're right, it's NOT a forum. A forum is not the place for that type of thing. At it's core it's just a fundamental lack of respect, thought, and basic discipline. Even saying "This topic makes me want to eat Gheb's underwear." shows that you've at least spent some time with the idea. It's not always great, but it's not as bad as some of the things we have now. For example (yey, finger pointing time): http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=9527 Someone posts: "SO.... SMECKSXHY." AND THEN QUOTES HIMSELF AND ADDS NOTHING ONE POST LATER. I've seen this behavior elsewhere as well. People respond to topics and just say "Yay", "yeah", or something like that. You don't have to post just to acknowledge the topic's existence. :P

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. Clannad After Story is already on Episode 9. It's great, and yeah, it continues the course of the Visual Novel. Need a linky to it?

I have to agree in a lot of cases. It's a spam forum, yes, but even then you have to have some quality in it.

I think the problem lies in when they stop claiming to simply be forms of moral codes, and when they begin to see themselves as having actual facts. That is where the conflict arises.

What disbelief? If you mean that some people don't accept it, then it's because they're wrong. We do know that evolution is fact.

How much time have you spent on 4chan? Just a question? First, you don't even have to "fit". You don't have to be stupid. I've found VERY intelligent things on 4chan. Nothing wrong with it really.

More like... I dunno, you can't really say 4chan is ANYWHERE on the maturity level. :P

I'm half convinced they're gonna pull what they did earlier and release it suddenly on Dec 18, because of book events, but maybe not. Otherwise, it'll probably be out after Clannad AS is over. Honestly though, I'm not too psyched because I read all the books, so I'm not seething at the mouth for more. Yet.
