Because they're based on Medieval European tapestries

Freyr Ascendant Sharena? (Fairy Sharena!) We already know Muspell Ascendant Laegjarn Angrboða Ascendant Eir? Reginn with Gramr would probably be an Ascendant Hero

The reason the the free OCs of each Book are female is so there's a male and female main character, Alfonse is consistent but his female counterpart changes in each Book. If the free OC was male there'd be two male leads and no female lead

I have to say Book V has been really good so far

Duos: Edelgard and Lysithea. I want Lysithea to be the attacker but I want Edelgard in front as the defense Marla and Hestia. I feel like they're too similar in role, appearance and ability to get in separately, but they're both important to Sonya so I think this'd be the only way they'd get in Pelleas and Soren. The Spirit Charmer believed to be the Branded son of Ashnard and the actual Branded son of Ashnard believed to be a Spirit Charmer. They'd have a lot to talk about Soren and Micaiah. Two branded descendants of Ashera's three heroes. They'd also have a lot to talk about Azura and Camilla. Camilla fiercely loves all her siblings but get's very little opportunity to interact with Azura Helbindi and Ylgr. Gatekeeper is pretty much guaranteed to be a Lance unit, so Blue is out for everyone else Red is an obvious choice for the other three since they all have special swords, but only one them can be red Marianne could easily be colorless because she's strong in Faith, But you could also give Marth Aum (unless they finally add Elice) or Eirika Latona The real question is who would be green
