My problem with this chapter usually is, that Severa sticks too close to the walls with enemy tricksters on the other side and gets Levin Sworded. I never thought about the rescue staffs... Usually I just stick to the walls, then she tends to avoid them.

Well, but wouldn't that make Lucina Taguel? From both cases we know (Nah and Yarne) the child takes after the laguz Manakete/Taguel. And the people might not react that great when suddenly they are being ruled by a generation of taguel rulers. I'd give it 2 generations at max before a race-related uprising.

Well, that would depend on the inspiration for the PT and the name of my avatar. In my Persona 4 PT I'd call him Yu, because that's who he'd 'play'. When the avatar is named after me, I'd give her a name I'd give my child, or for example when she's Olivia's daughter I might call her Rose because of the hair colour.

Well, if you do not reclass at all, and promote at level 20, you only have 38 possible level ups to gain stats. With reclassing you could basically have infinite level ups until everything is capped. (but you already mentioned that you don't like grinding) Still, if you go to level 20 in your unpromoted class and do not have a lot of stats capped, you might want to switch to another unpromoted class (or back to level 1 of your current class) instead of promoting, since promoted units get less exp.

I'm not 100% sure I understood that correctly, but you do not keep the promotion gains if you go from a promoted class to an unpromoted class. The modifiers are applied according to the new class. You can check it out here: http://www.serenesforest.net/fe13/classchange.html For example, if you go from Great Knight to Myrmidon, you get -10 HP, -7 STR, 1 MAG, 3 SKL, 5 SPD, -10 DEF, and -2 MOV added/substracted from your current stats.

I was just at GameStop here in Germany, preordering the second copy of the game, and the guy behind the counter told me, that they already had them in the back. But he just wouldn't accept my bribe... But he told me, that if there was a release break, they'd notify me.

For those interrested in playing in different languages: Nintendo Germany wrote back today, saying that the voices can be set to englisch and japanese (we already knew that) and that the screentext will be shown in the language your DS is set to. So basically the message on the website is saying "only the text can be set to different languages, you're stuck with the english and japanese voices" instead of "the text is only available in your countrie's language". Me happy.

I managed to beat the demo on lunatic now. On the first map Fred+Avatar killed everything except for two Myrmidons which targeted Chrom+Lissa, and the last hit on the boss. Had to switch partners once to Avatar+Lissa so that Fred was save from the Elwind mage. Avatar didn't help Fred attack or defend even once -.- Second map, Fred+Chrom doubled everything with an axe and evaded the hammer. Everone else was hiding in the upper right corner. Much easier than the first map in my opinion, which I failed several times. So once I have the full game I probably will give lunatic a try sometime.
