1. I gave Jedi some... "advice" through PMs and that totally doesn't mean I was trash talking his run or anything, but he suggested that I throw out a few Super C pointers for his next run or for those who want to play it themselves in this thread On boss 2 you can move almost directly to the left of the green dude in the beginning and quick kill him with good mashing with spread, which ends the boss fight On the stage 6 segment with the red orbs spawning from the wall, you can just hug the left side in the beginning and hold up. There's even a spread that you can get on that side On boss 6's second form, you can pretty much hug the head on the bottom right or left and just mash it out with spread for a quick kill On the stage 8 segment with the lowering ceiling, you can just outrun the red balls if you're quick enough Also on some weird weapon stuff, spread actually got nerfed, but it just increases the health of large enemies when you have it. It's still the best weapon in the game though F can quick kill bosses about as fast. Also, picking up a weapon gets rid of all of your R, even if you collected the weapon you already have Also Jedi Contra 4 is pretty good you should try it *nudge* *nudge*
2. How dare you pick a good character for me without knowing that I don't like them but can still probably play them well
3. Can't think of anything creative off 4 hrs of sleep but you can have Meta Knight, Doof
4. I know you're a fan of the series so I'll let you have Mega Man, Jedi
5. I'd say 3 bans is a bit too much, I'd settle for 1 ban so that someone doesn't get that one dude that they really have no chance with. I don't like the idea of people not in the tourney picking characters since that kinda goes against the "screw your opponent" thing
6. Yeah 4/16 should work for the next tourney. I'd say the other one can start maybe a week after?
7. Yeah it actually motivates me to get the matches done lest I face the wrath of angry Jedi EWW GROSS HALBERD. Counterpick stage, replace Lylat if that's too many stages because who even picks Lylat Tbh it should be up to the players. Generally it's lax enough where people don't care about striking order and let the other dude go first, but yeah the players should settle it any way they want. Judge is the most convenient when a chat is set up though, its basically a built in RN generator. idk about gimmicky tourneys but we need a Salty Suite of some kind. Stuff like Shin vs Horace or Ike/Link dittos since those are popular characters here. If someone else plays Mac other than Elieson then I would love to see a Mac ditto Only the lack of specificity on stage striking in match 1. My area goes with 1-2-1 generally. Once again though, that might be up to the players in the match to specify. Otherwise the rules seem pretty standard except for 3 stock, which I prefer over 2 stock anyway. Same as JBF in terms of length. Start it so it ends before finals week for those college students
8. Pokken Tournament has been a blast and is a fun, not too difficult fighting game to play on the side
9. Same here, I wanted to play the dude since release but he was just so frustrating because of how bad he was. Thank you papa Sakurai for the Mewtwo buffs.
10. Oh yeah, dependence on Player Phase and bow users being really good are a nice touch too, bring those back as well
11. Competitively, Gen 3 struck this nice balance between agressive play and stall with how it played, even if it was janky due to no special/physical split yet and ability distribution being questionable at times Gen 2 is so stall based its not funny, the addition of SkarmBliss and Curse was just ugh
12. url without the spaces after media For instance, this is , just without the aforementioned spaces
13. Bring back from Fates New weapon triangle New reclass/skill system Infinite weapon durability Weapons with special effects The new Dual system. Nerf it again though because Pairup still seems too strong Bring back from earlier games Stealing, and other ways to obtain enemy weapons/staves Dismounting Lower caps/growths, namely the all 20 caps. FE7-9 or FE11-12 caps work as well
14. My guilty pleasure game is Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate. Yeah it's really sloppy and unpolished but it's fun to speed through every now and again
15. I'm a tryhard so this will mostly apply to competitive whatnot Gen 1 +Normal types are generally viable -Stupid game mechanics like speed giving more crit or freeze equaling death Gen 2 +Steel and Dark are pretty neat types and give Psychic types a legit weakness -The meta is based on stalling. snooooore. Gen 3 +Natures and Abilities allowed for more versatile teams -I'll get back to you on this Gen 4 +Physical/Special split in moves made more Pokemon viable. Hazards are also neat -So... much... priority... Gen 5 +Hidden Abilities are a pain to get but they make more Pokemon viable -WEATHER TEAMS EVERYWHERE Gen 6 +IV training and getting Hidden Abilities are sooooo much easier -Mega-Evo's are as horribly imbalanced as all the other Pokemon, ranging from broken (M-Salamence) to worthless (M-Audino)
