    Thanks NickT~ I'm not really a fan of the pose either, it'll probably change after everything else is all done. Kitty, maybe this link? (I hope it works, otherwise, does someone know what a good large-file/image sharing site is? 'w' ) https://www.dropbox.com/s/3z03l98xhdliwwp/masterSheet.png

    Alright and thanks! Master sheet made. :3 And a new mug this week. Inri, Ekkis, or Maru, haven't decided which name to go with. If anyone is interested in the master sheet: https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/EternalHerald/masterSheet.png?_subject_uid=43880778&w=AAADwRDPG0NLvtRQcXaizrN392oHVZJbeInL6qdwhv5GXA https://www.dropbox.com/s/3z03l98xhdliwwp/masterSheet.png It's currently about 60 to do. ^^;
  3. Wow, didn't know there were so many mappers out there. 'w' An idea Merc threw out was to have requesters give a review of the work when it was completed (overall on a scale of 0->5 stars, and a sentence or two of how things went, e.g.: ) Another idea is to have spriters/mappers post updates in the thread to let people/OP highlight that they're available for requests/work. --- Currently I'm thinking of formatting the first post like below. It's definitely in the rough draft state, but if anyone has better ideas or would like things formatted a different way I'd like to hear/see it.
  4. Cool! My misunderstanding then, good to know we have the possibilities open. I'd still like to get public input on it for a few days before PMing any specific request to you. Personally I'm leaning towards just keeping it simple and having a stickied thread, just so we don't cannibalize the dedicated forums.
  5. Back when eCut was mod, this sort of thing (request subforum) was requested for the hacking forum, but she mentioned it wasn't up for community discussion. Things might have changed, but the best I can really hope for is a sticky and someone staying active enough to update OP, or enough activity in the thread to keep it on first page. Having a subforum doesn't give a quick index of spriters, either. That'd still need to be manual.
  6. Kisara, if you're at the point you're happy making maps, I think it's worth it to just throw yourself out there and just say you're still a beginner. There's plenty of people that would be glad for any map-maker, as they're probably a novice in their end as well. Also guys if you're volunteering, it'd be super-helpful if you gave a link to your page if you have one. I might do a bit of hunting for it (or just bulk survey?), but I might just link to your profile if I can't find it.
  7. Yeah, I think we're pretty small, plus map-makers are part of the spriting forum, so might as well integrate.
  8. Please go to the new thread! http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=48619&st=0&p=3199391 (Unless you're filling out the survey) Original Post: Just curious if anyone is interested in having a single topic highlighting spriters that want to/can make their spriting services available (for a fee or for trade), or a general census and info hub of the community. First post would have a listing of spriters that've joined in this, if they're available for work, a link to their page (if they have one), and any details on their preferences (serious commission only, no requests, currently busy, works only towards their own projects/interests, etc). Any projects seeking artists can also get added to a separate listing with a link to their page, what they can offer in return, and the turnaround time on graphics they're seeking. It wouldn't remove the usefulness of project request topics, and I think the majority of spriters that do commissions have established patrons already, but just throwing this out there as an idea.
  9. Wow derailment Chances are, being aware of how he's positioned will prevent awkward usage. Because it's not the default all-purpose mug position it's not as user-friendly and has more chances of creating awkward situations if you manipulate it wrong, but that doesn't mean it's unusable and needs to be changed from the original 'back turned from the conversation'. One direction, he's perpetually defensive/ashamed but paying attention to talk through eye-follow, the other, he's perpetually distracted by something outside the convo.

    (updates) Cleanups of the splice rounds: An RNG (x4) pick speedysplice: --- In the air on whether to put up a bunch of names from a project and start a master sheet or just keep it small and work on OCs individually.
  11. Too bad, I'm gonna make it even dirtier, Haku! ;D #?
  12. <3 your spikey splices~ Which one should I use for entry?
  13. Fair enough, I jumped the gun and someone broke the tie in the early morning. YOU WIN THIS TIME, YOSHI. Congratulations!
  14. Optional Theme: Female Thief (Echidna, Karla, Ursula, Lucius) Use at least three of the above mugs in your entry. RULES THAT YOU MUST FOLLOW: No mass 'made from scratch' areas. In other words, the final result should be made of and identifiable to areas from the source mugs. Only use the set given, no other mugs. Recommended color limit: 16 (15 on your mug +1 for background). This is a flexible rule, but be cautious with your color count as a general rule of thumb for good pixel art. You are allowed to deviate from the standard FE color choices if you want to do so. Don't vote for yourself or I will cry sad tears devoid of mod power. Hosts may enter contests. Only 1 mug per member. Winner of the contest will choose the next theme and a mug, runners-up will choose the remaining mugs once a theme has been decided. Voting consists of 2 categories: 'Best in Theme' (single choice) and 'Favorites' (multiple choice). 'Winner' is the popular vote for 'Best in Theme' and the runners-up are taken from the most popular two from both voting categories. If there is overlap (e.g. 2nd place is the same participant for both categories), a weighted average of the total votes will determine the remaining runner-ups. PARTICIPATION NOTES: In the past, there has been a lot of conflict surrounding what does and doesn't constitute proper splicing techniques. This is not the venue to repeat that argument (if you're interested in it, please look at old rounds between 50 and 65). Please remember to allow participants the freedom to experiment and find their comfort zone in splicing. Give them votes when you believe they're successful, but do not use their entry as a platform to tell the world what you don't like. If you have any questions or concerns, please PM the current host. Deadline: Saturday, July 5th, 2014 Have fun!
  15. Drat, too late! lolwell~ Personal opinion, the standard etiquette of 'ask first' should apply by default. It is just for funsies though, so going ahead (from Round 4+) I can see edits being considered public material.
  16. It's a tie! :o and draw for most villiany~ Since AK has graciously passed on the prizes, Yoshi will get to choose next theme and Nickt, Toa, and General Ciraxis get choice get runner up prizes. Really good entries this round, guys!
  17. Optional Theme: Villianry Source Portraits: Aion, Garret, Morph Kenneth, Fado (at least 3) ----- 48 hours to vote!
  18. Went for the last thirty minutes today, got about four more sets in. Guess my location was really fortunate to have moderate traffic: enough to make things fun but also low enough it seemed everyone got a chunk of playtime in. Only noticed character voices and some sfx weren't in yet this time. (probably obvious info) I'm sad you weren't able to play it, whatever circumstances led to the Smashfest not happening in your neighborhood. Though, there's probably a lot of people that wanted to play the demo but couldn't for whatever reason too, so don't feel bad about it. Maybe just look at it in a positive light that you'll play a the game without the initial hiccups of the pre-release version. On an unrelated note I hope you can get a Luigi hat sometime. :3
  19. Went to the one in Cedar Rapids, IA, around 4:00 when it started, took about one hour to get to play and another hour to go through the line again for a 2nd play (maybe about 60~70 people there at peak?). They had both the 3DS and the WiiU games, and we got to play both. ^^ Staff hosting were awesome and nice in organizing it and there was swag and coupons to be had. Marth seemed all right in FFA and with initial first impressions, but yeah, I hope this isn't the final product since it feels like there should be some finer tuning with moveset timing across all characters.
