  1. If you have that, you're most of the way there. Games are cheap, even imported games, especially compared to the cost of the system.
  2. Ironically, the most pirated media tends to be be media with a large gap in regional release dates. Removing region locks and making media available in all regions at once is one of the best things they could do to combat piracy.
  3. 1. 27, counting the Prologue and the Final along with the 25 numbered chapters 2. 23, counting the six SpotPass downloads along with the 17 starting in the game 3. 110 SpotPass characters are available so far and the remaining 10 will be released tonight; StreetPass characters are guest MUs either from other games or randomly generated. The six SpotPass sidequests are their own full chapters, but the 120 past-game SpotPass characters, as well as any StreetPass characters, are treated as skirmishes and are fought on existing maps. 4. 19 DLC maps are available so far, but we'll see at least 25 total, probably closer to 30.
  4. It's just random regular items, like the villages in ST and KvK. The next DLC should be announced within the next 24 hours, along with the release of the final SpotPass team. The DLC should be just the final Ultimate Training map, in all likelihood the first 6-star map. The SpotPass team will of course be the villains we've been been waiting for.
  5. Parent/child supports get their C rank immediately with no support points, so those at least have some difference. Otherwise, I've felt like some pairs took longer than others to support, but I haven't tested it enough to draw any conclusions. Not huge differences, though; definitely not on the level of supports in other games, so they probably are uniform or close.
  6. But it makes sense. Logically, they couldn't realistically program it without having the DLCs contain content that would only be activated by other DLC, which seems to go against their content policies. Although Eltshan already violates that, having his art already programmed in yet not visible unless you have IDW to recruit him or an LvD map to fight him.
  7. Hard to say. Speed is pretty much all Taguels have as an advantage, but it's the most improtant stat. But then, with buffs you can fix Manaketes' Speed issues enough for the lower difficulties, making them incredibly powerful. And the 1-2 range is of course awesome. Wyrmslayers and Beastslayers aren't too common, although Beastslayers probably show up a bit more. On the other hand, with the Buster skills, both classes have those slayer effects built-in, and Beast Buster is far more useful than Dragon Buster. No triangle attacks.
  8. No. They, along with Slime, are the only weapons with a cost that cannot be forged.
  9. On a crit, with a Vengeance activation, with a forged effective weapon and the absolute highest possible Str, over 600 damage. I got great results from forging effective weapons on Lunatic, but it took most of the gold from my one Gold and Silver run to afford the few I made. Haven't tried it much ingame otherwise. Normal isn't particularly difficult; I'd say it's on about the level of FE8 HM. You don't need to grind on any mode, and higher difficulty levels specifically discourage it, with Lunatic and Lunatic+ making it virtually impossible to grind without DLC.
  10. I'm not sure. Perhaps, but I haven't poked around to find out. And no worries; hope we're cool now.

  11. Perhaps I should be more clear: the times when those teams appear coincide with when I get StreetPass. That is quite solid evidence that the feature is linked to StreetPass.
  12. I'm following the facts to their logical conclusion. What I've seen cannot be plausibly explained without fake teams existing and being dependent on StreetPass.
  13. It's possible, but that doesn't explain why the teams' cards are missing pairing data, or why I've been getting one per day ever since getting my American 3DS back, as well as otherwise increased numbers when bringing it to places with other 3DSs (like school, where I frequently get StreetPass). I haven't heard anything to indicate such internet connectivity. Also, some of the teams are just weird, such as having base level Frederick when the teams have to be well into the game. A real player might have Frederick at that level, but not likely include him on a team if they were intentionally holding him back, yet I've seen it multiple times. They're also loaded with bonus items, even ones that no one would actually use like Ladles.
  14. Also, someone else here looked into it and found that teams like those were missing information referencing the original file, which real StreetPass teams have.

  15. My source is my game. I've been getting random StreetPass teams that usually don't make sense when there is definitely no one else with the game around, but usually other people with 3DSs, and since I got my other 3DS back, I've been getting them about once a day at home, as well.

  16. None of this is even relevant. 1 and 3 just mean Skl is duplicating Spd's effect for those characters that would get the Skl advantage, and 2 is simply a situational difference to effects that are fundamentally the same. And the advantages, as you state them, are rather one-sided anyway, which isn't good.
  17. StreetPass is specifically between two 3DSs, so you can't fight your other file's teams in that way. However, you can upload a file's MU to the Unit List, where you can hire them on any of your files. So yes, you can recruit MUs from other files on your game.
  18. More of an issue is that it's just redundant. Spd advantage lets you do double damage. Skl advantage lets you do about double damage. Not all that unique.
  19. I don't think Weapon Saver even works on staffs.
  20. Not fully. I've been putting together enemy data, though, and the Lunatic stats show some of the caps for the highest-leveled units. You can calculate some modifiers from there. http://serenesforest.net/wiki/index.php/Awakening_LM_Enemy_Data:_Mystery_SpotPass http://serenesforest.net/wiki/index.php/Awakening_LM_Enemy_Data:_Path_of_Radiance_SpotPass http://serenesforest.net/wiki/index.php/Awakening_LM_Enemy_Data:_Radiant_Dawn_SpotPass
  21. That's really odd. The Mark/Lucina sibling support has a couple of references to Mark wanting to become a tactician. Is that part different for the others, like how the father supports usually have a small difference?
  22. Amelia, yes, but not Nephenee: looking at base stats, her Spd is higher than her Str and equal to her Def. And odds are, it's her best growth.
  23. I wouldn't call Serge's outfit "cool" at all. It just looks uncomfortable.
  24. Raven's got it right. Someone works on putting together something they enjoy and uploads it for others to enjoy as well, and then you walk in and call it shit. And you're surprised at an unfriendly reaction? If you're unimpressed by this sort of thing, there are options such as not saying anything. And if you do want to say something? There is a world of difference between "I wasn't too impressed with x" and "I think x blows shit". Surely you understand this? Or perhaps you'd like illustration. Incidentally, have I mentioned that I think Mystery of the Emblem blows shit?
