  1. To clarify: Gangrel, Valhart, Inverse, etc. are available after Ch25. Walt, Dagda, Sigurd, etc. are available anytime after Ch3, whenever you're strong enough to beat them. The DLC characters - Marth, Celice, Eirika, etc. - are available anytime after Ch4, if you can beat their maps. Also to clarify: "multi-posting" means posting multiple times consecutively like you've been doing.
  2. Well, there's not much left for me to add now. ST: series heroes, Archanea map Marth Roy Micaiah KvK: Archanea/Jugdral males, Jugdral map Leaf Alm Celice RvB: Elibe/Tellius females, Elibe map Elincia Eirika Lyn LvD: series heroes, Tellius map Ephraim Cellica Ike Hmm. I was going to say the DLC characterd don't always have exclusive skills, just class-irrelevant ones, but they do. For the moment, I'm betting she'll have Royal Weapon, like Cellica. Fits with Astra.
  3. So I'm cleaning up some stuff on my postgame HM file. I easily clear IDW with a Faye/Inverse team to build their support, then more carefully clear LvD2 with Faye/Inverse and Chambray/Gaia (Faye is that file's MU, of course; Gaia is Chambray's father). I then send those teams into LvD1 and get destroyed. Something's weird with the power comparison between those two maps. Granted, Faye had finished supporting Inverse, so I switched to Faye/Renha to work on their support. But I don't think that accounts for anywhere near the whole difference.
  4. FE4 is a single game, even though it gets two SpotPass teams and four main characters. And no, Sigurd's odds evaporated the moment Cellica was announced. The next DLC character, starring in LvD3, the final for the current batch, will be Ike. There is no other possibility. Sigurd could only get in if they go back for another batch with probably another pair of map sets at 2-star and 3-star ratings like KvK and RvB, and the odds aren't in favor of this.
  5. Well, it's one male and one female per game, and some are less important than others. Still, I don't think their intent was ever to take characters from outside that group.
  6. FE13 acknowledges the following characters as main characters through their appearance in ST and in LvD: Marth / Caeda Alm / Cellica Sigurd / Dierdre Celice / Julia Leaf / Nanna Roy / Lillina Eliwood / Lyn Ephraim / Eirika Ike / Elincia Sothe / Micaiah
  7. Lower activation rates are first. So say you have 50 Skl with Lethality, Astra, Luna, and Vengeance. The game rolls first for Lethality and its 12% chance. Of the 88% where Lethality doesn't activate, it then rolls for Astra's 25% chance. That leaves 66%, and Luna has a 50% activation rate, so it takes half the remaining possibility, and if not Luna, then Vengeance will always activate because of its 100% activation rate. In other words: Lethality (12% of 100%) = 12% overall Astra (25% of 88%) = 22% overall Luna (50% of 66%) = 33% overall Vengeance (100% of 33%) = 33% overall
  8. You have to delete the old character when recruiting the new character; that's the only time you get the option.
  9. FE13 does not acknowledge Hector as a Lord.
  10. Funnily enough, one could praise FE11 for the same reason.
  11. Spoilers are hidden. It's mostly gameplay. Bonus characters can reclass to anything, yes.
  12. Correct. I should also clarify that it doesn't mean allowing them to be defeated in battle, either; you simply delete them.
  13. You don't "kill" them. Any bonus character can be saved to the list to be available in the future.
  14. According to Pegasus Knight, the Japanese name is 剣聖, which indeed translates to Sword Saint. 剣聖 is once more listed in S22's title in FE13, Renha's recruitment map; the full name translates to "The Sword Saint Returns".
  15. So do we call Elbert as much the main character of FE7 as Eliwood is? Both Elbert and Sigurd stumble into a larger mess and get themselves killed after tangling with some minor villains but never doing much at all against the main villains, setting the stage for their sons to do the real work.
  16. Well, I haven't paired MU yet. I'm not far from pairing him with Sariya, but since I've waited this long and am not even using Sariya anymore anyway, I was planning on waiting and pairing him with Inverse. But you're right: that would change everything.
  17. A refreshingly level-headed perspective. Are you sure you're a Republican?
  18. The thing is, I know people have also been calling her feet tiny, but I'm not seeing that, either. At least, not until we get to see her battle sprites.
  19. Massive? http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/65/lynz.png They don't look notable to me. They've been cleaning up the remaining map sets, so next will be LvD3, the first or only 5-star map. LvD is set on an FE9 map, so it has to have Ike. It's possible that we might see one final standalone 5-star map after LvD, and we'd likely see Sigurd there as the final DLC character in that case. I'm still not sure about the likelihood, though. The free maps are alternating with the paid maps, and there's only one free map left (Paris), so it sounds like there would only be one paid map afterward (Ike).
  20. Pairing-wise? Sumia. I used her for a while for flying utility and Spd bonuses, but she never actually fought anything, so she stayed at ridiculously low levels. This screwed up Lucina's base stats.
  21. Well, I decided to allow myself a single run of GaS during the story mode. Got about 60k gold, and quickly spent half of it on forging +5 Mt onto my two Hammers. I think I'll save the rest of my fortune; I'm not sure there are actually a whole lot of enemies to use forged effective weapons on in other upcoming maps, and I might need it for forged Silvers or something. Gave Ch20 a shot. Libera and Frederick were, with Spd buffs, able to one-round enemies with those Hammers for the first time in like five maps! It was glorious! I quickly got stuck between two enemy groups, though, and couldn't adequately defend my position. This is going to take some work. Since I've allowed myself a single play of one of the monster maps, I suppose I may as well take the other as well and grab some Exp with a single MH run to further my preparations. Lucina in particular is almost competent; she may be able to function as the fourth frontliner I need, and this should help. I do think victory in Ch20 is within reach, but it'll definitely take a lot of care. Meanwhile, 21, 22, and 23 loom as terrors on the horizon. If they turn out to be too much trouble, I guess I could check to see if I could handle some of the remaining character DLCs? And then there's the standard sidequests I haven't done yet. The early four would be easy, but not helpful because they're so low-leveled. Tiki's map is still completely out of reach at this point; there is absolutely no way I could construct the necessary living wall with my team like this. I guess there's no reason for me not to recruit Cynthia...
  22. All Swordmaster battle animations show them using one sword while having two more sheathed at their sides. Similarly, Demon Fighters always have a sheathed sword whether they're using a second sword, an axe, or a tome. Speaking of Demon Fighters, Alm got the Demon Fighter class because it was a class from his game.
  23. The KvK/RvB pattern is regular class, DLC class, regular class. The two mirror each other perfectly. The thing about Marth is, it's not just that DLC Marth is a Star Lord. In his two SpotPass incarnations, he's also a Star Lord. Yet SpotPass Lyn is a Swordmaster. She doesn't have some unique personal class.
  24. Exactly. At least, they will be.
