The only times I really use them are to test things I've modified or whenever I play fe7if because that hack requires them unless you're a masochist.

I'll upload a video of higher quality music from Fe7if in the morning, however I doubt that is the case (at least for all of the songs in the hack) as there are songs that had to have been transcribed into midi form as their original games did not use SPC formatting. (Flickerei Geist from SRWOG2nd is a PS3 game and it's remixed in a more theatrical form in FE7if without an overly midi sound to it.)

I've been wondering for a while now: Why is it that most hacks we have now with custom music still sound really midi-ish? Fe7IF somehow managed to do it so that most songs sounded as though they were composed originally for the game (or at least emulated the original game's instruments a little better). To compare: Is really midi sounding when compared to the music in this video Perhaps it would be worthwhile to peak into the hack via hex editor to see if any changes involving the instruments were made?

Seeing as Aenir's kidnapping was essentially the catalyst for all of FE7 to happen, I doubt Nergal would create a morph modeled after her, lavish it with praise, and then knowingly send it on a kamikaze mission on a last ditch effort to stop Eliwood and friends. She was the key to his insanity; he'd at least feel some remorse in sending Limstella out to die like that if he had modelled her after Aenir. Her having Fimbulvetr doesn't really mean much. IS wanted to give the third to last boss a strong weapon. Him remarking about her perfect strength and beauty seemed more like him admiring his work than him actually feeling affection toward her as, like I said above, if he had modeled her after the person whose impact on his like caused his insanity, he more than likely would not have pumped her up with enough energy to ensure that she'd die regardless of the outcome of her final battle. The fact that she has feelings doesn't really mean much of anything either. From what we've seen, Kishuna, Ephidel, Sonia, and even the morph versions of the games earlier boss (Linus, Lloyd, etc.) have been able to do so as well. The eye similarities are interesting but they seem to be more coincidental than anything. Generally when you have a game with any art design at all, you'll find some similarities between characters designed by the same people. While this theory sounds interesting it really holds little to no weight.

Thanks for the responses. I'm definitely going for an Android of some sort seeing as I would prefer more customization and Fruity Insanity's post pretty much sealed the deal. Now the only question is: which one?

I'm finally getting a phone soon and I can't decide on if I want an Android or an iPhone. Are there any real dealbreaker pros and cons to the software on either of them? Hardware-wise? This is the time I'm ever getting a phone so I'm extremely ignorant about these things. I'm assuming that I'll be getting the latest model of either of them.
