If support conversations do return, I'll be happy since it added depth to some of the characters.

If Vic Mignogna is in the game, I can see him being Kamui. Or Gray. -

Yeah. Erin did seem to tone down her Chie for PQ. And Cherami Leigh is mostly known for Asuna from Sword Art Online. She's also going to be Makoto (I believe) in Persona 5. (Originally said she was going to be Morgana, but that's Cassandra Lee Morris.) I wasn't making a claim that it wasn't Erin. I agree with you that Mae sounds more like Cherami than Erin. -

Mae sounds like it's either Cherami Leigh or Erin Fitzgerald. Though, Erin has a very distinct "excited, youthful" pitch for some of her female roles. It sounds kind of like her Chie, but less obnoxious? -

It also reminds me of the art styles of FE6, FE7, and FE8 with the way the characters are drawn and colored. -
Part of me thinks it'd be hard for them to get Laura Bailey, which is why I feel it's more likely to be Erica Lindbeck than Laura. Also depends on when they were able to get her to voice Lucina and Palla for Heroes and if they were doing recordings for Echoes around the same time. And yeah, my initial thoughts were Patrick Seitz based on first listening to it. I'm leaning more towards Jamieson Price now, though.

It might be the soft color palette that causes some people to see it as moe. To me, it evokes the style of past Fire Emblem games and it gives off a sense of nostalgia, which fits for it being a remake. -
Jamieson Price or Patrick Seitz were my thoughts for Rudolf. I can see Cherami Leigh for Mae since it did sound like her. I couldn't quite place Faye's voice myself. Alright. I might list Saber's JP voice as Koyasu and if we learn otherwise, I'll change it. I'm not familiar with Kyle McCarley, so I'd have to look up some of his past work to attempt to get an idea on his voice. As for Erica Lindbeck as Celica, it does sound like her. She's be getting more roles lately. She'll be Futaba in Persona 5 and she's recently voiced Magilou in Tales of Berseria and Ema Skye in Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice. Also, going off of what you said about Koyasu narrating the FE Direct for the Japanese version, we could potentially see Yuri Lowenthal in Echoes since he was the English narrator for the FE Direct. Just a matter of who he'd voice.

Yeah. 3 times per chapter makes more sense than 3 rewinds per character per map. Either way, more information on this item is needed.

True. I never played Gaiden myself, but I did hear that it's a very unforgiving game at times. Not as unforgiving as Genealogy of the Holy War or Thracia 776, though. I can see it being included to make the game seem more newbie friendly (not meant in a bad way). I wonder how many uses it'll have.

I thought it would be nice to create a topic to compile the list of voice actors for Fire Emblem Echoes - Shadows of Valentia. This list will include both English and Japanese voice actors and will be updated once we learn more about who voices which characters. Alm: Natsuki Hanae (Japanese) | TBA (English) Celica: Nao Tōyama (Japanese) | TBA (English) Berkut: Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Japanese) | TBA (English) Faye: Atsumi Tanezaki (Japanese) | TBA (English) Silque: Yuka Inokuchi (Japanese) | TBA (English) Saber: Takehito Koyasu (Japanese) | TBA (English) Gray: Kishō Taniyama (Japanese) | TBA (English) Tobin: Atsushi Abe (Japanese) | TBA (English) Kliff: Mitsuki Saiga (Japanese) | TBA (English) Lukas: Takahiro Sakurai (Japanese) | TBA (English) Clive: Hiroshi Kamiya (Japanese) | TBA (English) Mae: Eri Inagawa (Japanese) | TBA (English) Boey: Takuma Sasaki (Japanese) | TBA (English) Genny: Yuki Horinaka (Japanese) | TBA (English) Valbar: Takahiro Fujiwara (Japanese) | TBA (English) Leon: Takahashi Kōji (Japanese) | TBA (English) Kamui: Shuhei Matsuda (Japanese) | TBA (English) Feel free to comment with additional voice actors and who they voice.

Part of me is a bit hesitant about this item. I'd have to see how it works in game since the Dagger of Time was integral to the whole Prince of Persia series. It does sound like an interesting new mechanic, however.

Let's not forget that Faye's Japanese name is Effie, which is the English name of Elfie. It might be Intelligent Systems having some fun with NoA's Treehouse as VincentASM suggested in his analysis of the GameSpot preview photos. One thing I have noticed is that Gaiden's Robin is now Tobin so it doesn't clash with Awakening's Robin for the English version. -

Sadly, dual audio is confirmed not to be happening, but that can be expected given that this game is FULLY voiced and it's a Nintendo 3DS game. There's only so much space on the Nintendo 3DS cartridges. -
Was that Erica Lindbeck as Celica?
Kaze replied to quasimopho13's topic in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia
She also voiced Ema Skye in Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice and will be the voice of Futaba in Persona 5. That being said, Celica did sound a lot like Erica Lindbeck, so here's hoping that it's her. -

Cherami Leigh was Asuna's VA. I'm not sure if you are also aware that Cherami Leigh has provided a few voices for Fire Emblem Echoes as well. And I can see Cherami Leigh voicing Mae. It does kind of sound like the voice she gives younger characters.
