Lucia's more noticeably bad. If you brought up Mia enough, she's fine but Lucia's bases are somewhat awful (although her growths aren't too bad IIRC)

To be fair, she sounded really stressed in FE10 and calm in FE9 whenever she talked. Well a turn's more like... a day. I guess.

For the record: don't bother with Mia on a first playthrough. She's better than Lucia but... she's really hard to build up at that point in time :S

From what it sounds like Howard County is one of the only counties in America without a school system that fails epically. Also, my friend brought this up in a party on Friday. At first as a serious, but one of my other friends used it as a joke. Eh... a bit too soon for that but oh well.

I didn't like Dawn's all that much. Part I was okay, Part II seemed a little pointless, Part III was a bit better than Part I was but still okay, Part IV really sucked although Sephiran revealing that the two games were a huge Xanatos Gambit was pretty cool.Path of Radiance's was a lot better in my opinion. Ashnard was seriously apeshit.

The story is a lot better than Dawn's was.

This is a pro how? This isn't even a con. It's just a useless fact, considering you'll barely need bows in the next couple chapters (yeah sure there's a crow chapter but he's not doing that much to a crow...Archer/Sniper is a terrible class anyway. Once again, not a pro. He shouldn't be getting attacked (and if he does he can't counter attack) in the first place so this is slightly irrelevant. On top of that, he can't experience the WT boost either. That doesn't happen until Chapter 17 and... it's rather situational, and I can't see any situation where it's useful. On top of that, using the weapon triangle with them strips of them of the use of Axes - in Oscar's case, he has to use Bows when he promotes and in Boyd's case, he has to attack with Bows instead of Axes. The personalized Bow's only redeeming feature is accuracy and having a bit more power than an Iron Bow. Not much more. About 2/3 of the game... but he isn't any bit useful until the endgame where he's finally caught up...(Rolf goes below Shinon by the way...)

Shinon can afford to be on the frontlines. His evade and defenses are good enough starting out, and he has enough speed to avoid getting doubled. The thing about putting the Sniper behind the frontlines comes from the 2-2 range of a bow, but the Crossbow has 1-2 range which fixes that. You don't have to waste another character's turn if you're doing it when convenient. If a Mounted unit has nothing to do on that turn, trade and use Canto to get the rest of your movement back. If there's an enemy diagonal from Shinon, have someone trade with Shinon and kill that enemy... it's situational really, but it's not totally useless when you can get it used.

You. Are. Missing. The. Point. It makes it easier on the character that kills them the next turn. On top of that, the battle experience you're getting is substantially higher (maybe about 6 vs 1? That actually helps quite a bit). On top of that, a decent bow is NOT counter attacking on the enemy phase. On top of that, less risk of damage is irrelevant; in fact, ti reduces risk because it's less likely to go for the Archer now because it can actually counter attack now. And I'm referring to the enemy phase too NOT THE PLAYER PHASE, AND I'M SUGGESTING IT ONLY WHEN IT'S CONVENIENT TO SWITCH EQUIPMENT SO THE CROSSBOW IS EQUIPPED, NOT CONSTANTLY USING IT!

Leonardo can't Crossbow until he becomes a Sniper. Reading comprehension plz? Re-read my post, it has nothing to do with the might of a Crossbow. It shows that it can be useful, yet it doesn't say anything about relying upon it. When convenient, switching your inventory so the Crossbow is equipped for enemy phase can be a useful thing so you can do about 20 damage per enemy (more or less), which can weaken them/make them easier to kill.
