  1. Heroes really DOES look like a traditional FE Game though, So Heroes might be FE15, Echoes FE16, and Switch FE17.... FEH doesn't quite roll off the tongue like BSFE
  2. I'd even hazard a guess they might use this updated system if they ever delve into TMS 2. Atlas wanted FE style gameplay but Intsys said "Do what you do best" and they stuck to Persona Style dungeons and fighting.
  3. Yes, and FE12 added a lot more content to FE3 book 2 including most prominently more characters, chapters, and base support conversations. That's why I'm confident we'll see supports added in is because 12 did it. Marriage I doubt, though. Eagle eyed people have already spotted a mysterious new character, a villager named Efi, so we're gonna see some extensions to the plot in the style of FE12, most likely minus an MU.
  4. I noticed offhandedly that the dungeon crawling segment looks a lot like TMS#FE. Especially how Celica seems to have an equipped weapon and the way she runs into enemies. Do you think we might see some overworld elements of TMS worked in? You think any other elements of TMS might work their way into Echoes?
  5. Beat me to it. Alm and Celica amiibos were also confirmed. The game was emphazised to retain the mechanics of FE2. No MU in sight for all you detractors.
  6. To be completely fair with this, he doesn't go completely over the edge until halfway through Revelation and he seems to have some sort of narrative that Hoshido started it and it's nessicary to do (judging by the first six chapters and how the siblings and Xander in particular merely say "we're at war with Hoshido" as if they're in the right here) Whenever he's completely over the edge and starts talking about destroying Nohr, that's when both Leo and Xander realize there's more to it than whatever it was they were thinking. It also seems plausible (or rather, it seemed to be the case at first) that earlier on Garon wanted to eliminate MU14 due to possibly being a spy, or rather this seems to at least be the conclusion Xander came to. His narrative is "Hoshido die die die" in Conquest at least, Birthight and Revelation make it seem he's more open about his intentions for Nohr than before.Even so, Xander is a pretty direct reference to Camus that goes way beyond normal archetypes, and devotion to the nation's ruler seemingly in the face of all logic is a Hangup of Camus and those that follow the archetype in general. I'd argue that Xander at minimum has a far better excuse (ignorance of Garon's true nature outside of Revelation and the sense of duty he has to protect Nohr and perhaps specifically his siblings in addition) than Eldigan or god forbid Selena fucking Flourspar who basically tries to help Formortiis destroy the world for zero reason even after openly coming to terms with Viguarde. Completely aware and accepting of the fact she has no chance to revive him, she just turns into a crazy psychotic bitch and her answer is to help enslave/kill everyone in the entire world (which would be exactly what Vigarde wouldn't want) literally for no reason at all that would fit any of her established character or goals, or even her misconceptions and knowledge since we know she's fully aware of her actions. And the ones in Tellius also have mostly zero reason with maybe the sole exception of Shiharam (unless you count opposing player armies in FE10 as Camuses, which I don't). Xander by contrast at least has the saving grace of "I can fix him" and "It's for the greater good of Nohr" (on top of turning his ass around once he's shown Garon has no chance to be brought back in CQ and Rev) that they didn't even bother with with Selena or any Camus in Tellius. He also acts like a damned robot in such a manner in at least Ephraim's route that I'm surprised no one caught on sooner; he repeats what are clearly Pre designated quotes over and over again like a broken record (see his conversation with Duessel, which is not unlike what happens to Orson's wife) and one of if not THE only time we see him without Lyon/Formortiis he is completely and utterly mute. He doesn't seem so much a person as a mindless robot, so it's not exactly a perfectly flawless disguise either (and it seems it intentionally isn't, because it probably is intended as foreshadowing with how he talks). There's also the whole "I'm going to preemptively have Duesell killed" thing. Notice I didn't say merely amplified; I also specifically said it was TWISTED as well: "Mikoto: "You've come for me, haven't you, [Avatar]... When you were kidnapped I was devastated. I always wanted to get back all that time we lost. And now I can. If you surrender, we can serve Anankos together... forever..." I think her Vs quote against MU14 makes it pretty cut and dry what's going on here. Her desire to be with her child again is still very much present and is the underlying motive behind her actions in her mind, but it's twisted into something resembling a yandere mindset- "I'll have him forever and ever now and everyone else has to go", but also throw in the fact she's wholly convinced MU can "join" her upon MU's death. It's her desire to be with MU again amplified and twisted into a desperate and insane obsession, and I think her dialogue made that pretty cut and dry throughout that chapter.Back to trying to work on projects that have a deadline next month lol
  7. Looking at the comments I'm probably gonna get shot for this (again) but here's my two cents I feel like Fates is partly a victim of bad localization/bad allocation of Main plot/support convos; half of the support convos really should have been in the main plot, because some things that are said make the plot much more justifiable and reasonable Firstly, if I were to change anything about the lineage I'd have MU14 and Azura outright be half siblings (Anankos as the father of both). This is sort of implied anyway (take a look at Human Anankos and tell me with a straight face he doesn't look like a male Azura), but I might have that as the plot twist at the end of Rev- half siblings like Sileph and Julia would be a much stronger twist than "cousins but we aren't really gonna care about that". I MIGHT make Mikoto the mother of Takumi/Sakura but even that I really debate since I honestly didn't have enough of a problem with it to care. Second, Id make it much more blatant outside of support conversations and Cipher how good of a person Garon was prior to his corruption by Anankos. Both Xander (and a few other people)'s support convos and TCG Cipher allude to Garon being an actually decent king- enough so for the change to be nearly implausible to at least the Nohrian Royals, if not even the Nohrian Nobles that have been around for longer and probably Mikoto (though she seems to know what was going on so there's that). It's actually somewhat present in the game, it's just not blatant enough to make Garon an obvious Cornelius Achetype (which he is, and I'll get to that in a second) and sort of explain better why MU is trying to make Garon the person he was before (which may be because of Xander) or at least to reason with him. (MU does not know Garon is controlled until later on, keep in mind) I'd also make it revealed outright near the end of Revelation that Anankos is MU's father soas to give MU a sense of inner conflict at the end of Revelation and a resolve to basically give Anankos a mercy kill, which is sort of what they went for with Conquest (it was just lost in the sea of bad translation+ poor support convo allocation) I think one of the more subtle things they went for in Fates is they were going for a different Cornelius archetype per route- Sumeragi for Birthright, Garon for Conquest, and Anankos for Revelation. I actually really enjoyed this, but I again feel like 80% of things brought up in support convos should have been made more blatant in the main story, because not knowing about these support convos really can hurt the perception of the story overall and that's not a good thing (Magvel had sort of the same problem with this, though Magvel's lore is pretty much blank even taking that into account). Finally, id make the subplot about Hoshido being an asshole that's brought up in Revelation supports and almost immediately dropped front and center in BR. Shit, maybe play off of the fact Sumeragi apparently has this deep seated desire for bloodlust (which honestly thinking back on it is a twist(?) in Revelation) and portray him as a flawed individual and make his whole "Hoshido was the one that pissed Nohr off in the first place" more believable from the main plot alone. The idea is honestly given lip service in Revelation, and I don't quite know if this is poor translation or poor support convo allocation (or a mix of both) but as it stands the idea should have been developed more in Birthright. The angle of Sumeragi possibly having done something really horrible and may or may not have regretted it could also make Ryoma a foil to Xander; Ryoma trying to be better than his father, while Xander trying to live up to his father as he once was. I feel like the food problem is already kind of implied to be pinned on Sumeragi, and he's kind of an asshole that's trying to murder his children for sport in Revelation (keep in mind Anankos only amplifies what already exists in one's heart, he does not insert anything directly, merely twisting what is already there). Garon is obviously no better (he turns into an equally shitty parent under Anankos's influence) but I feel like it's more believable if Sumeragi for whatever reason denied aiding Nohr, or at least his father did. Idk how I feel about the whole "Garon and Sumeragi were best buds" angle, to be completely honest.
  8. I like how absolutely fucking NO ONE brings up the possibility of surrogacy which seems to be the Occam's razor answer to this... I also want to throw out two things: one, FE13 does very much allude to FE1/3 being non canon in favor of the remakes due to many offhand comments and further details such as Hauteclere's existence, and two, the English language games seem to have kind of fucked up with the translation (yes, both 13 and 14) because the word used by both Chrom to MU13 about Priam and from Anankos to Owain et al. can potentially be translated as roughly "distant past" in the context it's used (it's a really fucking vague word anyway), so everything except possibly (probably in fact) the GBA games seems to be one world (which is fine by me because Kurthnaga and Asheunera's foreboding comment about humanity being in peril again made me kind of lean on Tellius Pre dating Jugdral anyway).
  9. Just a suggestion, but I think it'd be cool if the Alliances were color coded in the same way as Cipher since they use Cipher art when matching anyway (I.E. Archanea= Red, Jugdral= Gold/Yellow, Elibe= Purple, Tellius= Green , Valla = Grey/Black and White). =P And I guess the eventually Dawn Brigade emblem would be green too, or just Lehran's Medallion with a different name label. The funny thing is literally every symbol except Elibe and obviously Valla is also the icon used for Cipher, which'd make the color thing even more fitting lol
  10. It's more that my reaction to MU12 is utter indifference as opposed to the scathing and foaming-at-the-mouth hatred he/she gets. I genuinely prefer Marth in FE12 because I think the additions to his character are well worth the few things that were removed because the important and defining moments of Marth's character in this game are either left entirely untouched or handled in such a way the avatar just spouts some nonsense and doesn't get in the way of Marth's shining moments, even if said nonsense was spouted by Marth in FE3B2. MU12 just feels like a mostly harmless non-character to me, someone who really is more of a blank chalkboard for the units like Malice and Dice to bounce words off of since no one else likes them they don't have connections to anyone in particular, and they wouldn't have characterization otherwise. I see MU12 more in service of characters like Malice and Dice rather than in disservice to Marth, who still stands on his own two feet and honestly I prefer as a character much more due to new dialogue in the game concerning him (Marth's relationship with Katarina alone makes me admire him as a person much more than anything he did in FE3B2 due to how sympathetic and merciful a person it shows him to be).In other words, FE12 isn't nearly as unspeakable and blasphamous towards Marth as people make it out to be for me personally, they-at worst- just slightly shift the focus to other things with Marth and the good additions to Marth's character far outweigh the minor things taken from him which, ultimately, amount to very little because the major interactions he has are either preserved or the avatar does essensially fuck all in the grand scheme of things when it happens. So MU12 doesn't bother me on account of being mostly a non character and more a device to flesh out units like Malice or Etzel. As for the main topic of this, yea, I don't think they really considered Draug to be with Norne in FE11, canonically, since no matter what, even if the Gaiden chapters are somehow canon without being an altered version of events (which doesn't quite seem the case here due to a few weird things in FE12 and FE13), Frey and Norne both get the boot in Prologue 4 and either leave or don't join Marth. Norne is still alluded to by the village in Prologue 4, but it's really important to note Gordin starts with her bow in anything other than normal (And yes, it is possible to get Gaiden chapters on hard and above) so I really, really don't think Intsys/Nintendo considered her to have been in Marth's army. Yea, she "aided" Marth in the War of Shadows in FE12 but that can mean just about anything considering they also specify she was "Just a villager". Then again all the Gaiden characters are weird with how this works out, so idk for sure in the end. Edit: in fact, I thought about it for a while and let's flip the tables here. Marth is literally a fucking GOD to MU14, almost irrationally so. At the same time, there's not really enough of substance changed about Marth in the remake to suggest its undeserved by any means- Marth still stands up to Lang , challenges Hardin, and now he has the added perk of having potentially defeated Erimiya as well now. Not to mention everything he did in FE11 on top of that, what with the saving the entire world... The etymology of the default name, Kris, even means once you dig through the etymology "close to Christ". Marth is LITERALLY JESUS according to the default name...
  11. -equips Iote's Shield because I know I'm going to get shot to hell for this- I actually vastly prefer Marth's character in FE12 to FE3B2. Yes, I mean that. Yes, it could have been done better and there IS a few things in FE12 I don't agree with but honestly with FE12 the good enormously outweighs the bad with the plot changes (I'm looking directly at probably the best set of Gaiden Chapters in the series, an extreme change of pace from 11 which gave us the worst set) The characterization of Marth as someone who retains their ideals despite the trials they go through actually fits in pretty well with a recurring underlying theme of the series outside of Tellius and FE7, and I find it clever in a way that they make Marth the epitome of a FE Completionist (Someone who refuses to let any unit die). The added dialogue concerning Marth (Prologue in particular) I actually find a decent enough tradeoff for the morsels they threw to MU, with maybe the exception of chapter 14's intro. They make it pretty clear Marth is cut from the "No man gets left behind" mindset that, admit it, most people generally play FE with (aside from players specifically challenging themselves, usually on repeat runs or after having played a fair number of games in the series) and that makes Marth, alongside Roy and- again going to be fucking shot for this- MU14, my favorite lords in the series (followed closely by the FE7 trio, Sileph, and MU13) Edit: This mentality also makes me think Marth always wanted to avoid another situation like when he left Frey behind. I feel like they could've just given MU some entirely new lines, but in the end I don't actually think it's as crippling to Marth as people make it out to be aside from Chapter 14's intro. The more memorable moments (At least in my opinion) like Marth and Hardin's confrontation in Chapter 20 and Marth's conversation to Lorenz before he kills himself, are preserved or at the minimum MU just spouts nonsense that doesn't really take away from what Marth's saying or his tone. Honestly, I barely even NOTICE MU playing through FE12, the only time I feel MU is truly even relevant is in the Prologue and Gaiden Chapters, and even then the Gaiden chapters feel more like Katarina's story to me. For argument's sake let's just say Intsys went out to actively ruin Marth's character; the fact he's still the highlight of FE12 to me and is even preferable to some over FE3B2 should speak volumes as to how intact his character remains and how irrelevant MU12 is to the main chapters in spite of their efforts.
  12. To the Project Naga team; I just realized that while TMS#FE has a massive Archanea bias, most of the carnages are actually non archanea weapons. Ragnell, Sol Katti, Balmung, Tyrfing, etc. show up, potentially on account of Awakening- but it just occurred to me maybe some previously untranslated Jugdral weapons might've slipped through the cracks at the rate they went with it. Might be worth a quick glance over I think; don't know enough of Jugdral weapons to determine if something in TMS got an official name or not
  13. It's not quite a spinoff because certain key items from Hasha actually appear in Binding Blade itself (Hasha's first few volumes predate Binding Blade). Hasha is to some degree entirely canon to Elibe, but at a certain point it veers into an alternate timeline (the main antagonist even gloats at one point about having made things go a way they weren't supposed to, compounding the notion it becomes an alternate version)Al, Tina/Tienna, and Gant are probably the three most important characters because they're the ones mentioned in FE6 by name, and Al's Sword (the titular "Champion/King Blade") is the major aspect that appears in FE6 itself. The main antagonist is fan translated as Audamorze in the current translation. His classs is never stated but he can turn into a dragon and use every weapon class in Binding Blade apparently. A few other notable characters appear but I'd have to look them up. Hasha is interesting because it actually goes as far as to give all its original characters that join Al/Roy's army BASE STATS and CLASSES, even going so far as to show what stats they gain upon promotion iirc. It's not your typical "FE Manga adaption"; a lot about it shows it was meant to be canon, at the very least when it was first released, before they veered offcourse. I'd still vouch it's meant to be a canon outrealm and that the first few chapters (or at least a version of them at minimum) are canon to FE6 (in the same way FE2 is a part of 3 different canons, with no changes in any of the three continuities) due to Al's Sword winding up in FE6 as a usable weapon. This is actually a very similar situation to the Metroid manga. The first few chapters are a very much canon prelude to the GBA game in question (FE6 and Zero Mission) before adapting the game they set up in such a way it completely alters the course of events. Buuuut I digress. I'd put Hasha above FE6, and I think it's a safe assumption that it's gonna be purple due to the fact I can already tell we are staring down either a Hasha!Roy or Hasha!Zephiel (Zephiel uses the Binding Blade in Hasha, not Roy, due to the aforementioned villain interfereing in how things were "supposed" to go, which is the perfect setup for an alternate Zephiel using the BB). TMS#FE works where it is more because it was released after Fates, and the list has a neat order of release going on like Awakening's spotpass list does =P There's also multiple other characters introduced in hasha, the one sticking out in my mind being a subordinate Wyvern Rider of Narcian who murders him, and his sister, as well as a Myrmidon/Swordmaster, but I regret to say I can't remember their names at the present time
  14. If I put Finn next to both of them, and then put Dew next to Bridget and Azel next to Taillte, how many more turns does that give Dew and Azel to fall in love? I didn't think I'd say this but I'm more worried about people falling in love with the wrong person than I am not getting them to fall in love at all, and at the same time falling in love too soon to get certain rewards (Ayra's brave sword for example can only be gotten if she and Holyn are both unwed in chapter 3)
  15. Is there any tactic aside from that that doesn't waste usable turns or marry him off? =/ If I kill Finn does he retain his inventory in the second generation? Is there any other way around it that would make it impossible for him to fall in love with either of them while maximizing their growth with Dew and Azel?
  16. Somewhat related; how to I prevent Finn from falling in love with Bridget or Taillte in Chapter 3 without wasting the 50 turn chance to grow their affection with Dew and Azel (respectively), while also getting Finn to at least a respectable level (not promotion) before the end of the chapter? Finn has a flat out rediculous love growth with both new females and I don't want him to knock up either of them and prevent Dew and Azel from doing so. Is it even a problem with Finn to spontaneously fall in love in chapter 3?
  17. Where's all this about Hasha no Tsurigi coming from? If we know Hasha is getting representation should Hasha no Tsurigi get its own section above Binding Blade, or should the characters from Hasha be thrown in with the Binding Blade cast?
  18. Not at all when you stop and consider Smash Bros is also canonically connected to Kid Icarus and Pokemon, in addition to probably other franchises. Fire Emblem has a multiverse anyway; it's not to say Smash takes place before or after Fates in the same continuity. Not at all. On the contrary dialogue relating to the Amiibos in FE14 confirm Smash is yet another dimension in a multiverse, and Smash isn't directly connected to any of those franchises either- it's connected in a multiversal sense. This is also strongly alluded to being the case with amiibo in Zelda, and to an extent the Mario series.Nintendo has even insinuated Smash Trophies and Amiibos are one and the same- in the literal sense (as in these are the same trophies Master Hand uses). So multiversally speaking it's not at all far fetched for Smash trophies to pop up whenever you use them (as amiibos) in a game, once you take a step back to analyze how Amiibos work. The Robin amiibo ironically enough even alludes to the fact there's no canon setting for any player avatar (canon for them pretty much varies by player canonically) by pointing out Robin might not even look like or be the same gender as Chrom's tactician while not saying either way. What they say about the amiibo units also lines up with the events of SSBB and the Trophies in that game's story mode.
  19. So Patty/ Faval and Altena/Leif have swapped inheritances? No one else though? From what I can tell, Claude x Slyvia is literally the only way to wind up with a unit in Gen 2 that can use the Valkyrie staff outside of maybe a promoted Arthur, right? Or is there anyone else that can get and use it?
  20. So just to make sure I'm interpreting that second sentence correctly, Fathers pass down to the son and Mothers to the daughter with the exceptions of Patty who takes from the father? I've also heard Leif inherits from Ethlyn and not Quan, and Altena inherits from Quan. Does that mean I'll have to swap items around if I want an item from the father to go to a specific character in the event his son can't use it but daughter can, or would it automatically go to the daughter? (or do I even need to worry about this?)
  21. So Sigurd is the only parent that matters between him and Dierdre, inheritance wise, and I should probably sell whatever Dierdre has before she leaves?
  22. I have a few questions concerning inheritance overall in FE4- namely, how it works in general because I have no clue, but specifically I'm wondering about 4 characters specifically: Deirdre, Finn (Should I decide to pair him up), Quan, and Ethlyn. I'm wondering if items are inherited from Deirdre by Julia, or if I should sell all of Deirdre's items before she leaves so as not to waste them. I'm also wondering how Inheritance will affect Finn in the second generation if I end up pairing him off, since my main hesitation with pairing him with Aideen over Midir is Finn himself being affected by inheritance, making Finn a unique case compared to other units. All of these units leave early on top of all of that, so is there anything specific I need to make sure of to trigger their inheritances or do they automatically pass items down when they leave? Finally, does Inheritance pass down all items or just specific ones? How does it work in general? I'm on Chapter 2 and before I proceed further I wanted to arm myself with knowledge so I don't screw up my pairings I spent 4 hours making. If it makes any difference, here's the pairings I have set up: Finn/Midir + Aideen (It depends on how inheritance effects Finn if I'm going to decide on using Finn or Midir in the end) Noish + Ayra Beowolf + Raquesis (Non negotiable) Claude + Sylvia (non negotiable because of Cairpre and the Valkyrie Staff) Lewyn + Erin (Non negotiable) Azel + Taillte Dew + Bridget (Very close to non negotiable because of Patty)
  23. I'll have to readily admit story significance is what I usually rank my units on- in FE2 and FE4 though, I attempt to use EVERY unit due to the fact every unit is thrown onto the battlefield at once without a preparation screen, thus basically forcing every unit onto you anyway =P In Revelation this tendency led to me using nothing but the royal siblings once I got to Valla (The fact unit limits in those chapters 9 times out of 10 fit the royals and 3 man retainers exactly just helped fuel this notion for me that that's what was intentional), and in FE12 this is why I always use Belf and Sirius- because the final base conversation between those two has Sirius finally admit his true identity as Camus. This is also why I use Malice, due to her roles in the Archanea Chronicles chapters and Awakening's DLC, despite her not having much pull to the story of FE12 itself. The exceptions to this come when a unit is just THAT good despite getting a few passing mentions in the story at best (several units in both FE9 and FE12 count for this)
  24. Seems to be canon in the most absolute sense possible. Before Awakening even explicitly ends with the intro of Awakening, with identical dialogue and even never showing the Avatar so that whatever avatar chosen in Awakening can still be canon. Fates jumps through a ton of hoops to never say "Robin" is the canon avatar (even going as far as to say Amiibo Robin is an imperfect imposter, even insinuating there's a possibility both name and gender of Robin are wrong with Amiibo Robin compared to Chrom's Tactician), which they wouldn't have any reason to do if it wasn't canon. Not to mention Before Awakening is in the exact same Ballpark as Hidden Truths, which provides pretty much the only canon backstory for Valla. So yes, DLC and Amiibos seem pretty canon to the series overall. It also seems to be canon that Fates, Tellius, Jugdral, Archanea, and Awakening are all a single world while the GBA games (Elibe and Magvel) are insinuated by Awakening's DLC to be a parallel version of Archanea and Valentina/Jugdral (sort of like an alternate version of the same history). The timeline of how Fates fits together with Tellius is up for debate, but I am firmly in the camp that Fates predates the flood and the flood (literally) washed away Hoshido and Nohr's history, which is why Chrom doesn't believe Hoshido and Nohr actually existed by accepts Tellius, Ike, and Ashera as historical world history. Because Hoshido and Nohr were wiped out by the flood, while Tellius survived. But that's just a theory; in any case, they fit together in some way. Chrom treats Jugdral and Tellius both as irrefutable and hostorical facts, while he regards only Hoshido and Nohr as a myth but his knowledge of them seems to validate their existence in the same world, as well as the Awakening children traveling through time to go to Fates' time period. Tellingly, Chrom has absolutely no knowledge of Elibe or Magvel or anyone from there, being the only nations that are loosely explained to him by Old Hubba. Radiant Dawn's ending can also be seen as Ike and Soren/Ranulf going to Archanea (or at least what would become it), which is why Priam winds up in Yllise/Valm.
  25. Let's also get into the fact Chrom doesn't even seem to say Ike is from another world in the Japanese script as far as I know, meaning Chrom literally just says Ike is an ancient hero (making Archanea/Jugdral and Tellius one world). The only games this theory really comes close to flying for is FE1 and FE3, due to them not being considered canon by the 3DS games but matching the events MU12 said he/she would make up as a falsified version of the events. (Fates also takes special care not to explicitly say "Robin" is canon, meaning it could very well be considered canon that your avatar in Awakening is a girl named Saraphina for example and it wouldn't even cause problems with Fates! (Serena only says Robin "is dressed like someone I know" and is an imposter, taking special care NEVER to name or give a gender to the "someone I know", and Before Awakening has the same gender neutral, portraitless intro as Awakening meaning the avatar isn't mentioned and thus makes Before Awakening seem pretty canon) That still has holes in it, though, because if it were a book and that was the version circulated it wouldn't explain why Chrom and Co. know about Katarina and Legion, who are both remake exclusive, as well as some aspects of characters like Minerva and Hauteclere, so I don't even think 1 and 3 are literally books (at best, alternate canons to the 3DS games) It's made clear in Awakening and Fates that, somehow, Hoshido/Nohr, Tellius, Jugdral, Archanea, and Awakening are all a single world. The translation flubs this up a little with Tellius, but keep in mind Panne also says Laguz existed in the world at one point which is a concrete connection between Archanea and Tellius along with Chrom being familiar with Ashera and there being ruins of a sect devoted to Ashera in one paralogue iirc. I think Fates predates Tellius, and Chrom doesn't have evidence of Fates like he does Tellius because the flood destroyed Hoshido and Nohr, but I'm getting off topic now. Awakening doesn't seem to be a storybook, Fates if anything simply implies every single save file is a slightly different parallel universe (the same stunt Pokemon pulled with Sun/Moon)
