Also; it seems Team Hax was poorly named!
-
"Luna negates defence, there's no way I'll activate Resolve!" Way to go, me.
I don't like the look of Lethe's hitrates, so I'll just have Makalov finish off Rolf with the Silver Lance.
-
Rolf's not-dead presence here offends me. Ike, give him something to think about with your Silver Sword!
-
Sorry Elieson! Didn't want to gamble with surprise Resolve/Wraths, so I went for the safest option.
-
That's the idea!
-
I think, to start us off, Makalov will take swing at Boyd with the Vague Katti. Probably.
-
Man, now everyone knows I'm a misshapen emu!

Being able to run Nihil with two of Vantage/Guard/Renewal is just silly. Getting around Guard hax necessitates a Nihil user of your own (Calill either tinks or gets doubled by 41 attack). I don't think Ena is quite as bad as Nasir is; she loses in strength, skill and speed and lacks innate Nihil. I guess Renewal with her defenses is kinda annoying, but that's still one less Nihil for the team. Plus she can't proc skills as reliably as Nasir does.
-
I didn't expect to go as far as I have; the thought of facing Refa's Nihil team again scares me though!
-
Just continue attacking with the Brave Bow until one of them dies.
-
Rolf attacks Tibarn with the Brave Bow.
If Tibarn Cancels his way through the rest of this match, I will be SO MAD. (jk, that'd be amazing to see)
-
Rolf has Deadeye. Not that it's mattered so far, but it should have been noted in the Rolf vs Mia round.
Anyway, Rolf will turn his sights on Largo for yet another attack with the Brave Bow.
-
I need to take down Mia right this minute, and with Miracle/Resolve, there's only one
mankid for the job; Rolf, Brave Bow Barrage! -
This might not be so bad as I thought...Boyd, stick a Silver Axe in Geoffrey, he's (hopefully) done!
-
Rolf Brave Bow Geoffrey.
-
Oscar, give Calill a taste of Vague Katti!

In Fe8's case, the higher terrain bonuses are mitigated by powerful and accurate effective weapons (Reginleif vs. Tirado, Orson for example), most bosses possessing little speed or luck, or their just not sitting on thrones/gates; the only annoying bosses to wear down are Vigarde, and Carlyle without a Swordslayer.
The worst part in 6 hitrates wise is the earlygame, where most weapons aren't powerful and accurate enough - behold Hammers with their wondrous 45 hit, player units outside Marcus have middling skill (Lugh has acceptable hit but is let down by low magic), and many bosses are far ahead of the curve defensively. Leygance and Henning are really awful for when you fight them, but after that bosses are more or less reasonable to fight. Gel comes close, but he's mostly toothless and doesn't have quite as much avoid compared to your hit as Henning does.

I won't be able to do much Link Arena'ing until after Monday probably, so take your time Psych I guess.
-
I do feel bad about how I basically haxed my way through our first match; a rematch is surely in order in some form.
-
Yeah, all the rest of you slackers need to pick up the pace! I need to avenge myself agains Refa sometime.
-
Yeah, I didn't think of that until it was too late. Oh well, I'm still in the tournament; there's always the next team and the next round...
-
A crit still would've been the end of me, and he'd have two chances to proc a crit. Plus Makalov wouldn't have the Knight Ward equipped for the first round.
-
Okay, you got me. GG. It was a fun match Refa. I really should have given Makalov the Vague Katti instead of Ike though.
...Stupid Ike is turning out to be my worst problem, even when he's on my team.

On that note: how would Corrosion be handled? Unless it completely destroys the target's weapon on proc, or just always activates on every hit (could be neat for a Brave user), I can't see it being worth 10 SP. Even skill-heavy teams probably have Guard/Vantage/Counter/Occult to take up space.
