Healing Staff and other support items like that are indeed still limited! I just read over that part while writing my transcript. Full translation will be up soon!

Oops! I posted this in the other "leaked" thread. Didn't see the digital one was here. I'm translating the entire thing, but did characters first. So here are the new character profiles translated: Felicia Voice: Sasaki Nozomi Class: Maid A capable (?) maid who serves the protagonist's every need within the Kingdom of Nohr. Though she has a brave personality that fights to the end, she is rather careless and makes plenty of mistakes. She is an ally no matter what side you choose. Joker Voice: Suwabe Junichi Class: Butler Just like Felicia, he is a butler who serves the protagonist in the Kingdom of Nohr. He is an ally no matter what. On top of being great at housework and other chores, he is an excellent fighter. He is unsociable and hard to talk to for anybody who is not the protagonist. Gunther Voice: Nayaru Kurou Class: Great Knight A Knight who has served the Kingdom of Nohr for a long time who made his name on distinguished service in the past. He serves the protagonist in his travels, aiding in fights and training. He has a strict, yet kind personality Suzukaze Voice: Ono Daisuke Class: Shinobi He comes from a long line of Shinobi that has served the Hoshido for generations. Suzukaze himself does not serve any particular master. In contrast to his older twin brother Saizou, he is a polite and calm young man. Saizou Voice: Shingasa Tarusuke Class: Shinobi He pledges allegiance and is under the direct command of one of the central character of the story: the prince of Hoshido, Ryouma. A complete change from his brother Suzukaze, he has a personality that is hot blooded and can suddenly become fired up. Kagerou Voice: Muragawa Rie Class: Shinobi A "kunoichi" who serves Ryouma. Initially her class is Shinobi. She often works to restrain the reckless Saizou. Together with Saizou, she is a character that becomes an ally on the "Hoshido" path.

Sure, help is always nice : ) I usually write up a transcript first and translate it from there, rather than a direct translation. So if you want to start from page 1 and start writing it as a transcript, that would be pretty helpful : )

Don't worry, I intend to do all of it, but just prioritizing the easier bits first and such I guess. xD

The digital issue is out, and I got the four pages... so I assume most people are interested in the character info? Should I tackle that first?

I would say it's a generally bad idea to be on a fansite where people will be inevitably talking about, even in the separate sections by accident via avatar and signatures. I would advise staying away for awhile.

I guess I'll be busy the next few weeks... I'm catching up on the full Famitsu translation for last week. When anybody gets a high res screen shot from the digital edition that comes out on Wednesday (or even from a scan tomorrow), please pass it along and I'll do a full on translation like the interview. : )

He's saying: カムイを苦しませよ。但し、殺してはならぬ。 "Make Kamui suffer. However, you must not kill him." I guess you could also take it as "Kamui is becoming a nuisance, however we must not kill him." I do not think it is an order to kill him though, or else the "however/despite that" would not be there. Anyway it would be easier to give a solid answer if there was more defined context.

He's saying: どうしても白夜側につくというのなら、この兄を倒してみせてからにしろ！ Or roughly, "If you have sided with the Hoshido, then show your Older brother your resolve! [by defeating me]"

XD Yeah Japanese wording always comes out sounding funny in English. So do not feel bad if you get confused by what is being said, and by all means feel free to ask away. And you are most welcome!

They meant they wanted to make the game bigger than Awakening (in content/volume/etc), but also with the appeal to newcomers and old fans alike.

Indeed, "drawing from the sea" meaning drawing the water away from it, i.e. making room and such. Or that's what I read it as anyway, but see how it came out vague. XD

Perhaps the 弓　(though that translates as "bow" in English, it is like 刀　katana becomes sword, or sometimes stays "katana.". Maybe this time they will keep it called Yumi?) I refer to the asymmetrical bow used in kyuudou archery. Maybe they will speciy the two types, 大弓 (daikyuu/longbow) and 半弓 (hankyuu/shorter/half bow) Just a guess though!

I'll take a look at the interview, seeing as most the other information was already translated I think from the leak yesterday. I hope to translate them all fully eventually though.

Terribly sorry for these past few slow uploads, got a nasty illness here. : ( but mostly recovered so should be good to push the final few pages that remain! No worries, I totally understand your view point! No need to apologize : ) I do not think it was any instance from the game, and so more of just something the author went for. Tsamimi (quoted below) got it the way it was intended I believe. But if it really bothers you I'll change it to "DO NOT DISTURB ME" on my second pass. : ) We all know this feeling. xD People just sound extra noisy when you're sleepy... It is a slightly different kind of humor standard in Japan I suppose you could say. Page 99 and now 100 are two favorites of mine, too. XD Ahh Gregor, I always forget about his third person-ness. XD I'll have that fixed. I think that was their point in Japanese, that she hates being woken up so much to the point she will be rather rude about it. The Japanese was the simple and crass うるさい which is hard to put in a formal tone XD
