It seems more likely to me than IS making fresh new titles because it'd take less effort. The story and setting are already there for them, all they have to do is copy that into a new look, with some improvements and translation. Because FE is a niche series, I'd say this is the most likely thing IS will do. They're at least gonna remake FE3 if anything.

I hope you're right. As for the 3D vs 2D remakes, I wouldn't mind either way as long as they make great games out of them. But, 2D seems more likely to me, because seeing as IS tried to make FE11 as similar to FE1 as they possibly could, wouldn't they want to make future remakes with similarities to their originals?

Just wondering, because if they did, then wouldn't they have to get his permission to remake the rest? I'm hoping this will happen, specifically FEs2-5 being remade for the DS/DSi and not for the Wii. I understand the availability of fan-translated versions online, but it's such a hassle to get them up and running! EDIT Uh, whoops. The title's, not right.

Ok, so a few enemies slip past Jaffar, they go into the throne room, and Zephiel gets criticalled by a mage. Due to his really high resistance, he's fine. After a bit more hits, he's under half HP. On the other phase, he moved off of his pillar space and right one space, then used an elixir. A few turns later, a fighter came out of nowhere and killed him. WTF? Why the heck did he leave the pillar, come on! It's not nearly as bad as 1-5 and 1-6 in RD, but still. <_<

I actually thought this gave him a more legendary status. Well, that's probably due to my influence from being a huuuuuuuge Zelda fan, in which Link always always always leaves everyone behind and is still a huge legend. Ike's like this too, people still remember him, he probably left for the same reason he left his peerage in FE9: the fame and senators. Nobody's perfect. Man the way you guys describe Sigurd, he sounds like Greil with blue hair. Is this more or less how he is?

I own that version! Saw it when I was like 12 I'd say. Watched it before the live action one because my parents thought I wasn't ready for it. Thinking back, isn't it funny that Borimir gets owned by at least six arrows!? Really? I thought for sure it stopped because the producers realized that they'd have to kill someone off to make it like FE. But the problem with that is that it would displease fans of that character and they'd get hate mail. If they let all characters live, then they'd still get hate mail because people would ask "Yo! How come no one dies?" It's a no win situation for the producers there. When it comes to another FE anime, the first was really cool I'd say, but I'm curious to see if after about ten years of anime the fanbase would grow exponentially like Pokemon's because of their anime. My fear with this is that, there's also the possibility of it being dumbed down like Pokemon's anime after its first series. However, it's not as likely to happen that way because FE is a violent and dark series as it is. I'd support another anime.

FE6. I downloaded it a month ago, played a few chapters, but decided to beat FE7 again before beating FE6.

What's the order of FE's that you'll be playing in the future and which one(s) are you playing right now? Currently playing through FE7 again, then after I'm gonna play FE8 and FE6 consecutively to beat those for the first time. Come februrary 16, I'll be beating FE11. Then, I'm gonna play FE4 till I get to the second generation, then I'll beat FE5, and finally beat FE4. Then I might beat FE2, but I'm not sure about FE3, because I don't wanna beat part 1 because by then I'll already have beaten FE11 and Japan might remake it anyway. After that, who knows, I might beat PoR and RD again.

In real life my name is Matthew, and I have blond hair. Kind of like Matthew in FE7, I act like him, but I don't jump for joy. There's a girl in my school named Kalie (or however you spell her first name) Boyd. Another girl at school named Karian, used to remind me of Marcia in PoR, she has bright blond hair, but she doesn't grow it out like most girls, it's as long as Marcia's in PoR. Not to mention Karian used to die the ends of her left bangs a sort of pinkish color; she kind of acts like Marcia as well. Marcia in RD reminds me of Shasta in The Horse and his Boy by C.S Lewis though, same hairstyle. Now let's get to the obvious one: Ike. I don't even have to go into detail with him you already know what I'm talking about.

No offense, but is this topic even necesary? If you want to know what someone's favorite is, just look at it in their description to the left. I don't have a favorite, I've beaten 7, 9 and 10 and they all have their pros and cons, it's hard to choose really.

No one has mentioned Oliver!? He's the most beautifull character in all of FE! On a more serious note, I love him because he reminds me of Wario.

The vid above contains pics of all FE lords. I'm pretty certain that there's been a topic here just like this one, and if that's true, I appologize for making you go through a deja-vu moment. But, I'm somewhat new here, and I'm curious to see what people here would vote. Without a doubt, my favorite has got to be Ike for being my main in SSBB, for being an ownage lord in FEs 9-10, and most importantly, for being my first lord. However, when I saw the video above, I got chills looking at Sigurd, he looks so badass! EDIT It used to say "I've only played FEs9-10" I meant to say "I've only played FEs6-10." Man it would suck if I've only played 9-10. *Shudders*
