Turtling is not the best idea for long maps, but in defense maps I do turtle if only to maximize exp gains. also in rd's 4-E-2 but that's a story for another time

The game will be played on Eliwood Hard Mode, skipping Lyn Mode. Rules: 1. Undrafted units may recruit characters, rescue undrafted units and NPCs, trade, visit Shops and Armories, and dig up items in the desert. 2. Undrafted units may not do anything not listed above, including but not limited to meatshielding, building Supports, opening Doors or Chests, and talking to Fargus in Chapter 16x. 3. All Gaiden Chapters except 22x and 26x are required to be visited. 22x and 26x may be visited at the player's discretion, and don't count towards the total turncount up to 20 turns taken per chapter. 4. I'm trying to collect a small pool of units that recruit each other. Ex. Clarine recruits Rutger and Klein. Noah recruits Fir. That way I won't have to worry about anyone who's undrafted getting attacked while recruiting.

It also removes Light Screen/Reflect/Safeguard as well. It actually is considered a rather good move.

I'd say that if you want Ganondorf's reveal, I'd look towards Hyrule Warrior's release, because that seems plenty obvious.

Nicolas's main point is that this is a strategy game that you plan. But who plans out a normal, casual run in an RPG? Fire Emblem is like 75% RPG, 25% Strategy. I mean, you're supposed to muscle through in an RPG. Casual, LTC, whatever. Breaking units is like putting Ultima on Terra, Celes, Relm, and Strago and going nuts in Kefka's Tower in FFVI. I mean the distinction between regular RPGs and SRPGs aren't that much. You just move around a map instead of a 3D world map/ dungeon. It may require less thinking sometimes because you don't have to find your next destination, the game does that for you in the passing of chapters.

Maybe it's just me, but I really don't like Jehanna and would be disappointed if it had the spotlight. I mean, an orphan trader from Carcino who was orphaned during the war would be much more interesting.

One from Grado who is caught in all the tragedy and the greatest knight of Renais who isn't ephraim. Admittadly, Innes, L'Arachel, Eirika, and Ephraim would have to be shoved in there somewhere. I could see Eirika running Renais and Ephraim running Grado, and this evil cult turns him against his sister and home country. he could be the new demon king's vessel
