How many Dark tomes even exist? I've literally only seen Nosferatu and it's terrible now. I'm guessing one from Awakening would be there too?

His argument basically boiled down to "I don't like this and it's too different." I didn't really explain myself, but I find that saying that Fates is contrary to what Fire Emblem is as should be a spinoff ignores FE11 and 12, which I find happens a lot. A ton of stuff people complain about like reclassing and basic characters can be boiled back to them. Casual Mode, MU, Reclassing, it's all there. RD was in 2007 iirc. New Mystery was much closer. It's very obvious that changes are indeed occurring. Even then, My Castle is literally Gaiden's towns with even more stuff to do. There are arenas, which I thought people missed? They aren't the same, but 4 also had a completely different arena than the rest. The rest of his post was his opinion, and I've seen similar opinions endlessly. Ironically, he mentions Persona. The exact same thing happens with Persona 1 and 2 fans who hate the popular, slightly more fanservicey but overall improved successor. I still enjoy older games like Mystery of the Emblem or Binding Blade, but I silently laugh when I see people praising Innocent Sin or Eternal Punishment. I mean, c'mon. Regular SMT is already grimdark, let us have a slightly cheerier game. That's why I adore #FE when other hate it because it's not dark or like the home series, but I digress.

The item icons are probably the worst design failures in the game. Here, it's hard to tell just what Ragnarok is at a glance. We know it's fire, but every single tome looks like fire. It's weirdly lazy after all of Awakening's icons, and they could have recycled some Awakening icons for some Nohrian weapons.

I'm also seeing a ton of "I dislike it so it's bad" which tends to be false. You seem utterly stuck to the older games and disapproving of change. As different as Persona? lol. Persona started as a spinoff, this game is the natural evolution of FE. I adore it. I love My Castle. I love skinshipping. Modern characters are so much better than the old cardboard from FE1/FE6. As you can see, Birthright is my favorite game in the series. Maybe you should stick with the older games and let people who like this stuff enjoy it. Gotta hand it to Fates's decision. Seeing it immortalized in a Smash trailer was great. Otherwise it'd probably be the Battle of Belhalla.

I actually absolutely adore the Fates N3DS. The subtle design looks amazing. If it was the families it would be way too much tbh It's probably my favorite 3DS design ever faceplates not-withstanding. where's my xenoblade n3ds nintendo because majora and monster hunter, aka not new 3ds exclusives, got launch new 3dses instead of the sole exclusive

Whether children go or stay, I still have to have marriage and avatars so they can expand past just fujoshi bait. I'm fine with Zero, but imagine if there were better options. Of course, FE has some good looking people, but it still doesn't stack up to Persona. could Minato romance Akihiko that'd be great and that comes from someone who likes Yukari and Mitsuru both especially since romancing Yosuke was stolen from us

I like them in Mystery through Thracia and always use them. I like FE6's well enough, more than 7's even, and I like Shadow Dragon's for some reason. So 3-6 and 11. I'll probably use Fates's animations for at least my first run in each game. I already like the animations, so unless I'm in a hurry they're staying on.

I'm a Psycorruptor currently and I will say that you might have some trouble. Psycorruptor/Mastermind has low HP and I've noticed that it's super hard to gain TP. In addition, Knives + Rayguns aren't very good early on. However, Beam Barrage does a ton of damage, Screamer gets sleep, and Smooth Recovery is the best healing art. It's all up to you.

I'd like a few more same-gender dateables. Especially if children don't come back, meaning that some characters could only have same gendered S-Supports. The thing about non-Marriage S-Supports makes sense, but before it's all worked out when the game release, I can only imagine the reactions to a father and daughter or something S-Support. After all, people are conditioned to only see marriage at the end of the tunnel.

The others are through Wi-Fi. Every Mythical Pokemon will be getting a plush and a TCG box with a figure, a Full Art card, and some booster packs for next year's Generations expansions. Of note is that Deoxys is confirmed to be no longer a Mythical Pokemon anymore and that Shaymin, Mew, and especially Manaphy haven't been given away anywhere for a while. I guess I can make this into basically a general Pokemon20 topic. Who's your absolute favorite Pokemon? My favorite is probably Blastoise. The memories tho. I was upset when Squirtle was cut for Smash Wii U/3DS. I also enjoy Ampharos, Altaria, Leavanny, Scolipede, and Lucario a lot.

I don't really agree with your points.Someone can't change where they're born. I prefer the UK to the US. How is someone "due first and foremost" if they prefer something else? I don't have any particular attachment to my home country. I also can't see how you can justify not helping those in need. If people in the US are hungry and then an earthquake ravages somewhere in South America, does that mean you'd just leave them to suffer? Likewise, helping others is always more important than helping yourself during times of tragedy. Other countries provide that support to the US during tragedies. I pretty much despise nationalism and what it stands for. In history it's lead to terrible acts in the name of the mother country. By the same merit, imperialism and Manifest Destiny also bother me immensely.

Nah, you made the right choice. Judging by Fates's success, FE will keep going and going. There'll be more 3DSes. Pokemon will only have a 20th Anniversary once. That's ample reason to pick the RB 3DS over the Fates XL. Always remember, anniversaries mean everything, such as last year being Thomas's 70th Anniversary. It's actually really sad to know that it's over.

In Smash 5, I'd likely cut Ryu for Wright as DLC and have Narukami as the Atlus rep and Jibanyan as the Level-5 rep. Bam: Sonic, Mega Man, Pac-Man, Bayonetta, Cloud, Phoenix Wright, Jibanyan, and Yu Narukami.

I'm really interested in hearing arguments against left stuff like gay marriage. It's pretty much a repeat of the reactions to the end of segregation where people who dislike it find ways to break the law anyway. Obviously immigration should probably be monitored, but something inane like banning refugees or building a wall is as over the top as possible.
