  1. Having capture would limit what weapons you could give a large chunk of the enemies though.
  2. How many Jagens are actually "bad" units anyway? Even Binding Blade Marcus and Oifey (who both fall down as you go along) aren't among the worst units of their games.
  3. Yeah see, that's what I don't support about FE Pegasi. Who came up with the whole "Pegasi=Women" thing? I know that's not how it goes in the myths with Pegasus.
  4. Pegasi not letting men ride them is a retcon. Anyway I would like the following to be in a FE: 1. A knight Jagen character (so don't bring up Sothe) who isn't mounted. 2. A Pegasus Knight who is a man. And not one like Lucius.
  5. What about Canas? Anyway, I wonder if we'll ever get a woman Lord who isn't hijacked by Ike or a Co-Lord
  6. Maybe Generals and Great Knights should be merged into one class. If Generals really don't have enough going for them compared to Great Knights, then how about they become one class who can mount and dismount?
  7. The thing with Armor Knights/Generals is that what they going for them in various FE games isn't enough of a big deal to make up for the drawbacks they do have. Having a higher defense growth and cap than various other units isn't that big of a deal when you have a Dragonlord or Paladin who can tank in a pinch. Let alone how the inflation of growth rates has led to a chunk of playable characters having a defense growth around 50% with more move. Honestly, I say Armors/Knights could be better off in a game with lower defense and resistance growths, bases, and caps.
  8. 1. Do you say it's difficult enough? 2. Among other games you have played, both in FE's genre and out of it, where does it rank on the difficulty list? 3. Overall, how difficult would you say FE is overall?
  9. Archers would be better off with these at least: 1. More movement than most other units who aren't mounted. Either that or canto. 2. More base strength. 3. Maybe 2-3 range by default. 4. Get more exp. from attacking and killing enemies than various other units.
  10. Well, there's Tear Ring Saga, which was supposed to be another FE game after Thracia 776. Going from that, I wouldn't say the series with Kaga still around after T776 would have much worse character development, etc., than the series without Kaga
  11. Is it just me, or is Zeek TRS's way of playing with how FE games have characters from the enemy nation or organization join your party like Minerva? You meet him in a chapter as one of the enemy units, he talks to the Lord, he talks to one of the other party members about his past, he sticks around in the part with what he has going for him, and then it turns out that Zeek is still helping Zoa. He later leaves the party and is fought as an enemy. With him keeping his stats and skills.
  12. In the Kaga FEs (and Tear Ring Saga), assorted characters who were worshiped that also appeared ingame were all dragons or had ties to dragons. Gaiden had Mila and Duma who weren't said to be dragons, but Duma did look like a dragon and Emperor Rudolf had a sword tied to Duma. After Kaga left, the series has featured the Demon King and Ashunera, who don't even look like dragons like Duma did. They really weren't draconic at all. Kaga's FEs had monsters like zombies in them, but dragons or characters tied to dragons were repeatedly the characters who appeared ingame that were called gods. It wasn't until Sacred Stones with the Demon King that the series had a deity character (or a non-human who was worshipped) with dialogue who wasn't a dragon or at least looked like a dragon.
  13. The Magic Triangle is something FE can do without unless we get more mages in the party and in the enemy groups.
  14. How about if most units won't get that much defense or resistance? The ones who do are units like Generals.
  15. Tell me what redeeming qualities Manfloy actually shows. Or any other Loptyr worshiper who isn't Salem (who is a playable character in a later game). Even in Thracia 776, it turns out not even his own grandaughter likes him. Let alone how Manfloy acted like a Bond villain in the last chapter of GotHW, where he took Julia away to send against Celice and Co. instead of killing her or telling someone to as soon as he could. People don't agree with me on a video game=Some people don't understand a video game. And Lopyr's cult does massacre civilians and sacrifice children. Arion brings up the first to Linoan to let Thracia control Tahra. Let alone how chapter 10's intro brings up how children are being rounded and sacrificed with Julius going on about how the child sacrifices would break the mothers for them to be slaves. Why don't you name a redeeming quality any Loptyr worshiper who isn't Salem shows. Name a redeeming quality Manfloy shows. Let alone how he doesn't kill or tell someone to kill Julia when he has the chance. He's a James Bond villain.
  16. You left out Loptyr's cult who are all cartoonishly evil without being played for laughs in a humor game like Exdeath. And the leader ended up messing things up in the last chapter.
  17. Jarod and the Senators (besides Hetzel) were too cartoonishly evil for me to call RD's story "deep". And other things. Same goes for the Judgral games with Loptyr's cult.
  18. Well, any of you have suggestions for how future FEs can deal with the stats that have been in past FEs? As well as new stats? One idea I've read looking around is for attack speed and dodging to be seperate stats. With seperate growth rates I'm sure. I've also seen the idea of FE using Shining Force's approach to growths.
