  1. ok but Mozu's level 10 averages: 20.5 HP, 11.85 Str, 14.75 Skill, 14.2 Speed, 7.4 Luck, 8.95 Def, 5.6 Res Takumi's stats on join at Lv11: 26 HP, 13 Str, 17 Skill, 11 Speed, 13 Luck, 10 Def, 4 Res Mozu's level 20 averages: 25.5 HP, 18.35 Str, 22.25 Skill, 22 Speed, 13.4 Luck, 14.45 Def, 9.6 Res Takumi's level 20 averages: 31.4 HP, 17.5 Str, 23.75 Skill, 15.95 Speed, 17.5 Luck, 15.05 Def, 5.8 Res Mozu's level 10 averages in full Kinshi Knight: 29.1 HP, 22.3 Str, 31 Skill, 32 Speed, 22.7 Luck, 18.5 Def, 20.55 Res Takumi's level 10 averages in full Kinshi Knight: 35.9 HP, 20.1 Str, 32.5 Skill, 23.9 Speed, 25.9 Luck, 17.2 Def, 14.95 Res what's an archer's most important stat? i guess it has to be luck since takumi is somehow clearly better than mozu like i'll agree he has an early lead on her since she wants your first heart seal and needs a lot more help to orko mooks on takumi's join chapter but he does not maintain this lead well at all with regard to the fujin yumi, it isn't a deal-breaker at all; its mt is tied with +1 steel yumis and its added effect is superseded by flight not to mention that br has virtually no terrain outside takumi's join chapter so it has very little room to shine even if you make him a sniper if you're going to argue with me that takumi beats mozu in rev where you get more heart seals and mozu has even more of a lead on takumi then i don't know what to say also i have no thoughts on the child tier-list because i mostly play no-kids, all i know is ophelia breaks the game clean in half on the one route with any difficulty so she should be tippy-top edit: okay i see kana is on top for a non-pvp setting and dwyer is at rock bottom. did you just rng this or something?
  2. Well if we're talking about point-blank Takumi then why is Mozu not better? She outclasses Takumi pretty hard when you give her point-blank and paragon DLC really shoudn't be involved in any tiering discussion though because once you open those floodgates the games become kinda trivial as you have things like paragon Arthur and any dread fighter
  3. she's only really good if you don't leave her in villager and aren't doing super hardcore ltc archer has quick draw which is one of the best skills in the game (+4 attack) and promotes to kinshi, arguably the best class in the game having a kinshi at all saves you a ton of grief in conquest against the late-game flier hordes, since bow effectiveness applies to dual strikes so your wyverns can dogfight alongside her in rev you have more options but she's still really good due to being fairly easy to train due to early join, flight helping a lot on the big outdoor valla maps, less competition for heart seals, and illusory yumi access by contrast villager offers....off-brand oboro with greater start-up time and a worse skillset in br it really doesn't matter if you use her because it's ryoma emblem and her name isn't ryoma
  4. Berserker Arthur for great justice
  5. top tier: my waifu middle tier: everyone else bottom tier: your waifu no but seriously, what is this list? the mix of nohrian units and hoshidan units means it can only be applicable to rev, but there's a lot of insane positions. how the actual fuck is takumi 2nd best unit in the game, above jakob azura camilla and xander? how is revelations effie in high tier, let alone higher than benny? what is peri doing in high, ever? what the hell are rinkah and reina doing at the bottom? i honestly cannot think of any intended use for this list; it's clearly not for ltc (takumi get out), but it's obviously not for ease of use either since effie is ranked highly, for rev, at all. i guess to be on-topic here's a conquest tier list i made ages ago, mainly meant for ease of getting through lunatic no-kids:
  6. Charlotte: Who? Odin: never got tired of his lines. Also easy modo for late-game Conquest that people don't use for some bizarre reason and one of the best fathers in the game, both mechanically and narratively. Zola: boring secondary who deserved to die. kinda weird that he isn't playable in any route given some of the game's themes but shrug, not gonna say killing him wasn't the right thing to do in CQ
  7. Leo's got some great (albeit inappropriate) crit lines and is a decently useful stand-in if you don't level Odin for some reason, or as a supplement/pair-up bot for him. Third-best mage in CQ no-kids behind Odin and Elise. Hayato also has great lines (bye) but isn't very good in Birthright. He basically has the earlygame of Ewan and the late-game of Erk. Haven't used him in Rev but Rev is a shitpost so who cares
  8. Ch10 AI is kinda weird and unique; certain enemies beeline the goal while ignoring everyone, some of them just move in the direction of the goal, the mini-bosses patrol a specific area (until a specific turn at which point they charge), and in general they don't follow the same rules the rest of the game's AI does. I've never heard of giving Camilla a Mag tonic though, that's a very unique strategy (albeit probably worse than just throwing Odin or Nyx at the west front). Please do explain what your deal is with "micro-management" though; I don't follow.
  9. Beware, I live! Chapter 19 - 5/105 turns Cloudflare hates me so no fancy description today, but in a nutshell: screw this chapter. edit: Send Ophelia on Camilla with a dance to the north-west and proceeded to vantage-kill the ring of foxes there (needed two crits or procs to kill the beastrune users w/o life and death). Percy flew up north with Arthur to axe some of the north-east foxes to go away. Lyrica dodge-tanked the south-western groups with help from Jakob. Could've gotten a 3-turn if I got three Mjollnir crits on Kaden+friends but didn't feel like fighting for it, so I used a more reliable strat in which I put Ophelia+Camilla in attack stance and had Lyrica use her newly acquired Rally Magic to push Kaden into OHKO range. [spoiler=Team] Chapter 20 - 2/107 turns Percy and Ophelia flew north with a boost from Azura, got blown onto Fuga's platform, and blasted him into orbit with a Mjollnir crit on the second turn. Niles went and grabbed the Rescue staff while everyone else bullied some Onmyoji to try and salvage some experience. Chapter 21 - 3/110 turns Simple Camilla lowman. Horse Spirit and the patience to go for a 1/64ish chance meant the only resource I needed to expend was a Defense Tonic. Probably would've been easier if Corrin/Camilla C support happened before this chapter instead of after... Chapter 22 - 3/113 turns Threw Kana and Odin on the left side for exp while everyone else stormed right. Camilla grabbed Ophelia and flew up to the Onmyoji fort with help from a dance and lunged onto it while everyone else advanced and clogged forts. Start of turn 2 I had Camilla wield the Dual Club while Percy (with a dance) flew up and dual striked off it to get an Onmyoji out of Camilla's way so she could fly to the top of the map and seperate from Ophelia. Flora zapped a Freeze at Subaki, and Arthur provided a Rally to allow Percy to kill. Camilla then proceeded to dodge the archer doll twice and get a turn 3 Seize after Ophelia blew up Yukimura.
  10. It's fairly normal for Felicia's stats to fall off. Just start watching your positioning more so she isn't getting into combat.
  11. corrin gets RIPPED also feat. wyvern rinkah with a cute beret birthright is a terrible game so you have to make your own fun okay
  12. Kidnap is a ton of regular skills in one nice Niles-shaped package. Don't see how this hasn't been mentioned yet (unless I missed it?) Lily's Poise, Rose's Thorns, Vow of Friendship, and Supportive are also all solid.
  13. uhhhhh what i did lunatic birthright blind with no dlc/skirmishes/children/forges/ryoma ch23 on is kind of annoying with enemy density but oni corrin basically solos the late-game as nothing hits very hard i even wasted exp training hana. if you want easy mode on lunatic birthright just run silas, rinkah, mozu, apothecary azama, and ryoma pair rinkah with +def avatar and watch as everything flails impotently on them also abuse the hell out of swordcatcher/pike-ruin club/axe splitter and great club, they're kinda silly
  14. Invading the neighboring country while calling the unyielding defenders cowards as he hides behind a wall of troops, saying he'll enjoy killing them, etc. I'm not even going to mention his role in BR because that's even more obvious. If you get Corrin to chat with Takumi in Ch10 Conquest he responds to her profuse apologies by musing that Nohrians don't have souls. Really don't see why people like the character so much. Fujin Yumi's inability to let Takumi cross lava/void/etc. is a detriment because there is very little terrain in late-game birthright that Fujin actually works on. Just using a Kinshi for mobility works better in Ch21, Ch23, and Ch24; the chapters in-between have no terrain whatsoever. With BR being a complete joke prior to Ch21 I don't see how the Fujin Yumi matters at all when discussing archers.
  15. Azama has natural access to Apothecary and manages to be buffer than both Takumi and Mozu, so no, Takumi is not a very good unit. Fujin Yumi is irrelevant when it doesn't let him walk across lava and you get a boatload of Kinshis in BR anyway. That said, it's not like it matters who you use in BR anyway, and Rev is a shitpost so it doesn't really matter too much. In the only campaign that matters, he's a hypocritical piece of shit. In the campaigns that don't matter, he's...exactly the same just on your side. #BlameTakumi
  16. Pic: how I was able to clear Lunatic Ch26 childless in a reasonable timeframe. Misfortunate is value. Kaze's the real unlucky dude. He's got a Luck dump with a useless personal that works off his garbage Luck.
  17. Do Hinata and Oboro really never charge on Normal? It's absolutely worth killing them early on higher difficulties so they won't be in the way later when they charge with a bunch of dudes accompanying them. Also for anyone not on Normal, you may want to give Camilla an Iron Axe if you intend to have her bop Oboro so she actually gets the double.
  18. pretty sure he was being sarcastic about the +7 lightning. the deal with dread fighter is it's kind of broken as fuck and not worth discussing, since aggressor's going to let pretty much anyone one-round takumi. arthur's hitrates are reliable enough, although i guess if axes are that bad we should stop using camilla for anything since she's less accurate than a trained hero of justice is
  19. skill buying is for nerds and postgame munchkins Wyvern Rider Elise is fun and surprisingly legit for Conquest. Probably don't need to mention Merchant Azama or Berserker Beruka since those are basically standard. Beyond that though, weirdest thing I've done is probably just Great Knight Hana. (She's hilariously papery in the class but gets very frequent Lunas when she reverts.)
  20. res in peace silas 2015-2016 a sad unloved cavalier with comparable def to effie and an actual move stat so he has larger reach and mobility which amazingly enough is useful in casual play good long-term utility and can carry effie as a stat stick to boot but nope effie and camilla are the only tanks left (actual strat if not on lunatic: make sure as many people as possible get that very first medicine pot which is always +4 def, kill kagerou+saizo+friends with ranged attacks over the pots using not armor units, line your dudes up along the entrance to the courtyard, hit the DV with corrin and player phase the shit out of the courtyard. don't waste time fighting ryoma, the secret to the secret book is you don't need it 'cause it's a goddamn secret book)
  21. I just had this happen with a digital copy. I hadn't even approached the stairs yet, I was still longbow'ing the jerks on the launchers and nope, go fight 48 horsemen again. edit: twice now! fuck birthright, this is like playing chess with someone who flips the table when they're losing
  22. arthur is absolutely viable on lunatic classic unless you're ironmanning for some reason, in which case good luck lmao (for clarity: that is just a +1 steel axe)
  23. PSA: Conquest gives you literally four charges of Rescue not four staffs, four charges please do not waste a charge doing what this guy does on difficulties above normal, there are far far far better uses for it
  24. For Conquest Lunatic, the most noteworthy ones IMO are: Ch9 Boss Haitaka(?) has Rally Defense, Strong Riposte, and something else irrelevant. Mainly noteworthy 'cause 10 is hard and you can leverage him there as fodder. Ch23 has a Master of Arms with Rally Strength+Speed+Defense+Resistance. There's other supporters there that trade a rally for Amaterasu but this is usually the bot of choice. Ch24 has Falcoknights with Pass, which are excellent for cheesing late-game via Rescue. Maids with Staff Savant lose the skill if captured; haven't tried with Inevitable End but I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same.
  25. The game gives you no free Physics, but I never found that I required one outright, so use those charges as needed. The Sun Festal may be worth holding on to for Ch25, if you've gotten it from Dwyer's chapter. It's not really mandatory though, just potentially moderately useful. Save both Rescue staves for endgame. You may be able to get away with burning one charge from each but you want both individual staves intact. If ignoring the above advice, save your Freeze staffs. Otherwise, Ch25 and Ch26 are the best places to apply them, as well as anytime you're in a pinch (you get plenty of Freeze). Entrap is powerful in both Ch23 and Ch25, dunno where else it's useful. Silence is useful in Ch26 and nearly useless afterwards.
